Gradonačelnik Dubrovnika Mato Franković na svom Facebook profilu je objavio selfie na kojem nosi maskirnu majicu koja na rukavu ima istaknut grb HOS-a na kojem se nalazi ustaški slogan "Za dom spremni". Uz sliku je priložio i pjesmu Tomislava Ivčića "Tamo gdje sam rođen".

"Radi se o HOS-ovoj oznaci i ne znam što je u tome sporno", znao je već prvi čovjek Dubrovnika braniti ovo znakovlje dodajući kako je činjenica da je HOS branio grad 6. prosinca 1991. godine, baš u vrijeme granatiranja dubrovačkih zidina. "Ako nam tada nisu smetali, ne znam zašto bi njihova oznaka nekome smetala danas", rekao je Franković u intervjuu za Dubrovački vijesnik 2017. godine.

Ovaj HDZ-ovac je 2019. organizirao koncert Thompsona na Stradunu povodom Dana dubrovačkih branitelja. Tada je, kako je to običaj na koncertima domoljubnog metalca iz Čavoglava, glavnim gradskim trgom odjekivalo "Za dom spremni", a razvijena je i velika zastava HOS-a s istaknutim ustaškim pozdravom. Za 30. obljetnicu obilježavanja obrane Dubrovnika, gradonačelnik je s predstavnicima Saveza udruga dragovoljaca HOS-a položio vijenac kod Spomen-križa na Srđu., a o partizanima se znao izjašnjavati kao "takozvanim osloboditeljima".

Franković je svoj istup nešto kasnije komentirao u novoj Facebook objavi: 

"Postoje ljudi koji će zauvijek žaliti za relikvijama prošlosti, jedna od njih je Jugoslavija, a među njima su i ustaše te ustaštvo. Nisam pozirao u majici s ustaškim znakovljem već u majici sa znakovljem iz časnog i ponosnog Domovinskog rata. Rata u kojem smo pobijedili, a brojni koji su izgubili živote za našu slobodu nosili su upravo znakovlje kakvo se nalazili na ovoj majici, na desnom i lijevom rukavu. A, ako Bog da i ove godine Stradunom će se punim plućima pjevati ponosna hrvatska pjesma 'Bojna Čavoglave' koja je naše branitelje vodila kroz časnu pobjedu u Domovinskom ratu", poručio je HDZ-ovac. 

Austrijska vlada je u prosincu prošle godine službeno donijela odluku o zabrani ustaškog znakovlja u toj zemlji, a njihova vlada je u priopćenju za medije opisala simbol HOS-a kao "noviju fašističku organizaciju".

"Bit će zabranjeni ne samo povijesni fašistički simboli, značke i zastave ustaša već i one skupine koje se pozitivno odnose prema ustaškom fašizmu. To posebno uključuje one HOS-a (Hrvatske obrambene snage), zajedno s drugim podorganizacijama i nasljednicima ustaštva. HOS nije bio samo naziv ustaške vojske do 1945. godine već i hrvatske paravojne postrojbe (1991.-1993.) koja se ističe brojnim izravnim i pozitivnim referencama na hrvatski fašizam", poručili su austrijski Zeleni.

Gradonačelnik Dubrovnika Mato Franković na svom Facebook profilu je objavio selfie na kojem nosi maskirnu majicu koja na rukavu ima istaknut grb HOS-a na kojem se nalazi ustaški slogan "Za dom spremni". Uz sliku je priložio i pjesmu Tomislava Ivčića "Tamo gdje sam rođen".

"Radi se o HOS-ovoj oznaci i ne znam što je u tome sporno", znao je već prvi čovjek Dubrovnika braniti ovo znakovlje dodajući kako je činjenica da je HOS branio grad 6. prosinca 1991. godine, baš u vrijeme granatiranja dubrovačkih zidina. "Ako nam tada nisu smetali, ne znam zašto bi njihova oznaka nekome smetala danas", rekao je Franković u intervjuu za Dubrovački vijesnik 2017. godine.

Ovaj HDZ-ovac je 2019. organizirao koncert Thompsona na Stradunu povodom Dana dubrovačkih branitelja. Tada je, kako je to običaj na koncertima domoljubnog metalca iz Čavoglava, glavnim gradskim trgom odjekivalo "Za dom spremni", a razvijena je i velika zastava HOS-a s istaknutim ustaškim pozdravom. Za 30. obljetnicu obilježavanja obrane Dubrovnika, gradonačelnik je s predstavnicima Saveza udruga dragovoljaca HOS-a položio vijenac kod Spomen-križa na Srđu., a o partizanima se znao izjašnjavati kao "takozvanim osloboditeljima".

Franković je svoj istup nešto kasnije komentirao u novoj Facebook objavi: 

"Postoje ljudi koji će zauvijek žaliti za relikvijama prošlosti, jedna od njih je Jugoslavija, a među njima su i ustaše te ustaštvo. Nisam pozirao u majici s ustaškim znakovljem već u majici sa znakovljem iz časnog i ponosnog Domovinskog rata. Rata u kojem smo pobijedili, a brojni koji su izgubili živote za našu slobodu nosili su upravo znakovlje kakvo se nalazili na ovoj majici, na desnom i lijevom rukavu. A, ako Bog da i ove godine Stradunom će se punim plućima pjevati ponosna hrvatska pjesma 'Bojna Čavoglave' koja je naše branitelje vodila kroz časnu pobjedu u Domovinskom ratu", poručio je HDZ-ovac. 

Austrijska vlada je u prosincu prošle godine službeno donijela odluku o zabrani ustaškog znakovlja u toj zemlji, a njihova vlada je u priopćenju za medije opisala simbol HOS-a kao "noviju fašističku organizaciju".

"Bit će zabranjeni ne samo povijesni fašistički simboli, značke i zastave ustaša već i one skupine koje se pozitivno odnose prema ustaškom fašizmu. To posebno uključuje one HOS-a (Hrvatske obrambene snage), zajedno s drugim podorganizacijama i nasljednicima ustaštva. HOS nije bio samo naziv ustaške vojske do 1945. godine već i hrvatske paravojne postrojbe (1991.-1993.) koja se ističe brojnim izravnim i pozitivnim referencama na hrvatski fašizam", poručili su austrijski Zeleni.

Gradonačelnik Dubrovnika Mato Franković na svom Facebook profilu je objavio selfie na kojem nosi maskirnu majicu koja na rukavu ima istaknut grb HOS-a na kojem se nalazi ustaški slogan "Za dom spremni". Uz sliku je priložio i pjesmu Tomislava Ivčića "Tamo gdje sam rođen".

"Radi se o HOS-ovoj oznaci i ne znam što je u tome sporno", znao je već prvi čovjek Dubrovnika braniti ovo znakovlje dodajući kako je činjenica da je HOS branio grad 6. prosinca 1991. godine, baš u vrijeme granatiranja dubrovačkih zidina. "Ako nam tada nisu smetali, ne znam zašto bi njihova oznaka nekome smetala danas", rekao je Franković u intervjuu za Dubrovački vijesnik 2017. godine.

Ovaj HDZ-ovac je 2019. organizirao koncert Thompsona na Stradunu povodom Dana dubrovačkih branitelja.
