Priča o ulaganjima bivših sportaša u nekretnine, o kojima smo pisali proteklih dana i mjeseci, dobiva i novi nastavak.
Ovog puta riječ je o mjestu Mandre na zapadnoj obali otoka Paga, dijelu Općine Kolan, poznate po stoljetnom bavljenju ovčarstvom i sirarstvom, a u novije doba i - turizmom. Na takvom tragu vjerojatno je i obitelj bivšeg bokasčkog odličnika Željka Mavrovića čija je supruga Jelena Balabanić Mavrović zatražila građevinsku dozvolu za podizanje zgrade sa sedam stanova, koji će, okladili bismo se, postati apartmani.
Budući objekt gradit će se na parceli ukupne površine veće od 2000 četvornih metara na dijelu mjesta nešto udaljenijem od plaža i mora, ali zbog toga i još uvijek manje opterećenom stambeno-turističkim kvadratima. Zemljište za koji se traži ključni "papir" je još uvijek formalno-pravno u vlasništvu Šime Balabanića, Jelenina oca i punca nekadašnjeg sportaša.
Balabanić stariji je široj javnosti poznat kao bivši član Uprave "Hrvatske elektroprivrede" (HEP) protiv kojeg je, zajedno s nadređenima i suradnicima, Državno odvjetništvo u proljeće 2011. bilo pokrenulo istragu zbog sumnje da su od 2000. do 2007. po povlaštenim cijenama prodavali stanove u vlasništvu te državne tvrtke i oštetili HEP za 8,5 milijuna kuna.
Obitelj Mavrović, nakon završetka sportske karijere "Šake sa Srednjaka", ozbiljno se bavila proizvodnjom zdrave hrane koju su plasirali u većinu vodećih trgovačkih lanaca u Hrvatskoj, ali je taj biznis neslavno propao nakon globalne ekonomske krize prije petnaestak godina i s dugovima prema bankama.
Ipak, zajedno sa suprugom nastavio je djelovati i vjerojatno je sačuvao dio kapitala kako bi mogli ulagati u ono što u Hrvatskoj znatno bolje ide, a to su nekretnine i turizam, pogotovo u mjestima poput paških Mandri gdje svoje smještajne kapacitete, uz ljude koji poput Jelene Balabanić Mavrović vuku korijene iz toga graničnog područja Dalmacije i Kvarnera, imaju i brojni Zagrepčani, Slovenci, Mažari...
Naime, zemljište na kojem Mavrovići planiraju svoj novi projekt (zasad) nije opterećeno nikakvim kreditima i posljedičnim hipotekama.

Priča o ulaganjima bivših sportaša u nekretnine, o kojima smo pisali proteklih dana i mjeseci, dobiva i novi nastavak.
Ovog puta riječ je o mjestu Mandre na zapadnoj obali otoka Paga, dijelu Općine Kolan, poznate po stoljetnom bavljenju ovčarstvom i sirarstvom, a u novije doba i - turizmom. Na takvom tragu vjerojatno je i obitelj bivšeg bokasčkog odličnika Željka Mavrovića čija je supruga Jelena Balabanić Mavrović zatražila građevinsku dozvolu za podizanje zgrade sa sedam stanova, koji će, okladili bismo se, postati apartmani.
Budući objekt gradit će se na parceli ukupne površine veće od 2000 četvornih metara na dijelu mjesta nešto udaljenijem od plaža i mora, ali zbog toga i još uvijek manje opterećenom stambeno-turističkim kvadratima. Zemljište za koji se traži ključni "papir" je još uvijek formalno-pravno u vlasništvu Šime Balabanića, Jelenina oca i punca nekadašnjeg sportaša.
Balabanić stariji je široj javnosti poznat kao bivši član Uprave "Hrvatske elektroprivrede" (HEP) protiv kojeg je, zajedno s nadređenima i suradnicima, Državno odvjetništvo u proljeće 2011. bilo pokrenulo istragu zbog sumnje da su od 2000. do 2007. po povlaštenim cijenama prodavali stanove u vlasništvu te državne tvrtke i oštetili HEP za 8,5 milijuna kuna.
Obitelj Mavrović, nakon završetka sportske karijere "Šake sa Srednjaka", ozbiljno se bavila proizvodnjom zdrave hrane koju su plasirali u većinu vodećih trgovačkih lanaca u Hrvatskoj, ali je taj biznis neslavno propao nakon globalne ekonomske krize prije petnaestak godina i s dugovima prema bankama.
Ipak, zajedno sa suprugom nastavio je djelovati i vjerojatno je sačuvao dio kapitala kako bi mogli ulagati u ono što u Hrvatskoj znatno bolje ide, a to su nekretnine i turizam, pogotovo u mjestima poput paških Mandri gdje svoje smještajne kapacitete, uz ljude koji poput Jelene Balabanić Mavrović vuku korijene iz toga graničnog područja Dalmacije i Kvarnera, imaju i brojni Zagrepčani, Slovenci, Mažari...
Naime, zemljište na kojem Mavrovići planiraju svoj novi projekt (zasad) nije opterećeno nikakvim kreditima i posljedičnim hipotekama.
