Uoči devetog izdanja koje će se održati 8. svibnja, organizatori Wings for Life World Run utrke otkrili su da im je cilj povećati utrku na čak milijun sudionika, već 2025. godine.

Još je stotinjak dana preostalo do starta nove uzbudljive Wings for Life World Run utrke, devete po redu, na kojoj će natjecatelji na šest različitih kontinenata jurnuti zajedno u isto vrijeme, ujedinjeni u želji pomoći onima koji trčati ne mogu.

Riječ je o globalnoj humanitarnoj utrci čija stopostotna vrijednost startnina i donacija ide za istraživanja ozljeda leđne moždine, s ciljem pronalaska lijeka - i to u bližoj budućnosti.

Wings for Life World Run unatoč svim izazovima prošle godine okupio je čak 184 236 natjecatelja, više nego ikad prije. No, to je bio tek početak. Organizatori su uvjereni u rast utrke u godinama koje dolaze, s još mnogo više trkača, trkačica i natjecatelja u kolicima na stazi, komentirali su na konferenciji za novinare održanoj u četvrtak.

- Prošla utrka bila je nevjerojatna, a ove smo spremni još više rasti. Stvorili smo hrabru viziju u želji da milijun trkača izvedemo na ulicu do 2025. godine. To je ono na čemu radimo i nadam se da će svatko tko je nastupio prošle godine sa sobom dovesti još barem jednog prijatelja ili člana obitelji i pomoći nam da nastavimo rasti - kaže Anita Gerhardter, izvršna direktorica Wings for Life zaklade za istraživanje ozljeda leđne moždine.

Sjajna vijest je povratak organiziranih utrka, kojih će biti osam u 2022. godini, a među njima se očekivano našla i zadarska, kao jedna od najpopularnijih lokacija za trčanje Wings for Life World Run utrke.

- Organizirane utrke se brzo rasprodaju i morate se prijaviti što prije. Natjecatelji uživaju trčati u mnoštvu, a atmosfera je sasvim drukčija nego na drugim trkačkim utrkama. Sve je puno dobrote i pozitive, a osmijeh je svugdje u zraku - dodaje Gerhardter.

Trčanje uz aplikaciju također će biti popularan izbor među trkačima i trkačicama jer omogućuje organizaciju vlastite utrke, u okruženju u kojem se osjećaš najugodnije.

- Želimo imati milijun natjecatelja na stazi 2025. godine, a jedini način da to ostvarimo je razvojem i popularizacijom Wings for Life World Run aplikacije. Danas se ljudi sami organiziraju i trče zajedno u svom okruženju, čemu mi dajemo podršku. Zahvaljujući personaliziranim komentarima u slušalicama, koji ohrabruju trkače i daju im važne informacije, svi koji trče uz aplikaciju osjećaju se kao da nisu sami i da su dijelom jednog velikog događaja - naglašava Colin Jackson, sportski direktor utrke i bivši svjetski rekorder na utrci 110 metara s preponama.

Wings for Life World Run već je dosad prikupio 30 milijuna eura, namijenjenih financiranju istraživanja ozljeda leđne moždine, a sa svojim jedinstvenim formatom u kojem cilj stiže trkača, a ne obratno, savršen je za rušenje vlastitih granica, bilo da je natjecatelj rekreativac ili trkački profesionalac.

- Sigurna sam da će rekordi padati ove godine, uključujući i ukupan broj natjecatelja - najavljuje Gerhardter koja se nada prijavi više od 200 tisuća sudionika, što se čini vrlo izglednim.

A mi u Hrvatskoj jedva čekamo 8. svibnja i utrku koja će točno u 13 sati startati na Liburnskoj obali u Zadru. Tad će pet tisuća natjecatelja velikog srca zajedno jurnuti prema magistrali, uz dalmatinske arhitektonske ljepote i plavetnilo Jadranskog mora.

Uoči devetog izdanja koje će se održati 8. svibnja, organizatori Wings for Life World Run utrke otkrili su da im je cilj povećati utrku na čak milijun sudionika, već 2025. godine.

Još je stotinjak dana preostalo do starta nove uzbudljive Wings for Life World Run utrke, devete po redu, na kojoj će natjecatelji na šest različitih kontinenata jurnuti zajedno u isto vrijeme, ujedinjeni u želji pomoći onima koji trčati ne mogu.

Riječ je o globalnoj humanitarnoj utrci čija stopostotna vrijednost startnina i donacija ide za istraživanja ozljeda leđne moždine, s ciljem pronalaska lijeka - i to u bližoj budućnosti.

Wings for Life World Run unatoč svim izazovima prošle godine okupio je čak 184 236 natjecatelja, više nego ikad prije. No, to je bio tek početak. Organizatori su uvjereni u rast utrke u godinama koje dolaze, s još mnogo više trkača, trkačica i natjecatelja u kolicima na stazi, komentirali su na konferenciji za novinare održanoj u četvrtak.

- Prošla utrka bila je nevjerojatna, a ove smo spremni još više rasti. Stvorili smo hrabru viziju u želji da milijun trkača izvedemo na ulicu do 2025. godine. To je ono na čemu radimo i nadam se da će svatko tko je nastupio prošle godine sa sobom dovesti još barem jednog prijatelja ili člana obitelji i pomoći nam da nastavimo rasti - kaže Anita Gerhardter, izvršna direktorica Wings for Life zaklade za istraživanje ozljeda leđne moždine.

Sjajna vijest je povratak organiziranih utrka, kojih će biti osam u 2022. godini, a među njima se očekivano našla i zadarska, kao jedna od najpopularnijih lokacija za trčanje Wings for Life World Run utrke.

- Organizirane utrke se brzo rasprodaju i morate se prijaviti što prije. Natjecatelji uživaju trčati u mnoštvu, a atmosfera je sasvim drukčija nego na drugim trkačkim utrkama. Sve je puno dobrote i pozitive, a osmijeh je svugdje u zraku - dodaje Gerhardter.

Trčanje uz aplikaciju također će biti popularan izbor među trkačima i trkačicama jer omogućuje organizaciju vlastite utrke, u okruženju u kojem se osjećaš najugodnije.

- Želimo imati milijun natjecatelja na stazi 2025. godine, a jedini način da to ostvarimo je razvojem i popularizacijom Wings for Life World Run aplikacije. Danas se ljudi sami organiziraju i trče zajedno u svom okruženju, čemu mi dajemo podršku. Zahvaljujući personaliziranim komentarima u slušalicama, koji ohrabruju trkače i daju im važne informacije, svi koji trče uz aplikaciju osjećaju se kao da nisu sami i da su dijelom jednog velikog događaja - naglašava Colin Jackson, sportski direktor utrke i bivši svjetski rekorder na utrci 110 metara s preponama.

Wings for Life World Run već je dosad prikupio 30 milijuna eura, namijenjenih financiranju istraživanja ozljeda leđne moždine, a sa svojim jedinstvenim formatom u kojem cilj stiže trkača, a ne obratno, savršen je za rušenje vlastitih granica, bilo da je natjecatelj rekreativac ili trkački profesionalac.

- Sigurna sam da će rekordi padati ove godine, uključujući i ukupan broj natjecatelja - najavljuje Gerhardter koja se nada prijavi više od 200 tisuća sudionika, što se čini vrlo izglednim.

A mi u Hrvatskoj jedva čekamo 8. svibnja i utrku koja će točno u 13 sati startati na Liburnskoj obali u Zadru. Tad će pet tisuća natjecatelja velikog srca zajedno jurnuti prema magistrali, uz dalmatinske arhitektonske ljepote i plavetnilo Jadranskog mora.

Uoči devetog izdanja koje će se održati 8. svibnja, organizatori Wings for Life World Run utrke otkrili su da im je cilj povećati utrku na čak milijun sudionika, već 2025. godine.

Još je stotinjak dana preostalo do starta nove uzbudljive Wings for Life World Run utrke, devete po redu, na kojoj će natjecatelji na šest različitih kontinenata jurnuti zajedno u isto vrijeme, ujedinjeni u želji pomoći onima koji trčati ne mogu.

Riječ je o globalnoj humanitarnoj utrci čija stopostotna vrijednost startnina i donacija ide za istraživanja ozljeda leđne moždine, s ciljem pronalaska lijeka - i to u bližoj budućnosti.

Wings for Life World Run unatoč svim izazovima prošle godine okupio je čak 184 236 natjecatelja, više nego ikad prije. No, to je bio tek početak. Organizatori su uvjereni u rast utrke u godinama koje dolaze, s još mnogo više trkača, trkačica i natjecatelja u kolicima na stazi, komentirali su na konferenciji za novinare održanoj u četvrtak.

- Prošla utrka bila je nevjerojatna, a ove smo spremni još više rasti. Stvorili smo hrabru viziju u želji da milijun trkača izvedemo na ulicu do 2025. godine. To je ono na čemu radimo i nadam se da će svatko tko je nastupio prošle godine sa sobom dovesti još barem jednog prijatelja ili člana obitelji i pomoći nam da nastavimo rasti - kaže Anita Gerhardter, izvršna direktorica Wings for Life zaklade za istraživanje ozljeda leđne moždine.

Sjajna vijest je povratak organiziranih utrka, kojih će biti osam u 2022. godini, a među njima se očekivano našla i zadarska, kao jedna od najpopularnijih lokacija za trčanje Wings for Life World Run utrke.

- Organizirane utrke se brzo rasprodaju i morate se prijaviti što prije. Natjecatelji uživaju trčati u mnoštvu, a atmosfera je sasvim drukčija nego na drugim trkačkim utrkama. Sve je puno dobrote i pozitive, a osmijeh je svugdje u zraku - dodaje Gerhardter.

Trčanje uz aplikaciju također će biti popularan izbor među trkačima i trkačicama jer omogućuje organizaciju vlastite utrke, u okruženju u kojem se osjećaš najugodnije.

- Želimo imati milijun natjecatelja na stazi 2025. godine, a jedini način da to ostvarimo je razvojem i popularizacijom Wings for Life World Run aplikacije. Danas se ljudi sami organiziraju i trče zajedno u svom okruženju, čemu mi dajemo podršku. Zahvaljujući personaliziranim komentarima u slušalicama, koji ohrabruju trkače i daju im važne informacije, svi koji trče uz aplikaciju osjećaju se kao da nisu sami i da su dijelom jednog velikog događaja - naglašava Colin Jackson, sportski direktor utrke i bivši svjetski rekorder na utrci 110 metara s preponama.

Wings for Life World Run već je dosad prikupio 30 milijuna eura, namijenjenih financiranju istraživanja ozljeda leđne moždine, a sa svojim jedinstvenim formatom u kojem cilj stiže trkača, a ne obratno, savršen je za rušenje vlastitih granica, bilo da je natjecatelj rekreativac ili trkački profesionalac.
