     Samoproglašeno ‘božićno primirje‘ ruske snage iskoristile su za intenzivne pokušaje svojega napretka u istočnoj Donjeckoj oblasti, a situacija je po priznanju ukrajinskih dužnosnika "vrlo teška" u gradu Soledaru, udaljenom 15 kilometara od čuvenog Bahmuta. Zamjenica ukrajinskog ministra obrane Hanna Maliar je na Telegramu kasno sinoć vrlo znakovito objavila, a prenio Kyivindependent:

 "U Soledaru je vrlo teško. Oni (ruske trupe) tamo su usredotočili značajne napore kako bi došli do granica Donjecke oblasti".

Izjava Maliarove dolazi nakon niza izvješća ruskih propagandista da su ruske snage tijekom vikenda već slomile ukrajinsku obranu u Soledaru i da se u središtu grada vode žestoke borbe. Neki javljaju da su plaćenici grupe Wagner napravili "duboki prodor" kod gradića Soledara i da su pod kontrolu stavili veliku tamošnju tvornicu Artemsol. Glasnogovornik ruske paradržave Luhanska Vitalij Kiseljov najavio je da će Soledar "u sljedećim danima sigurno pasti".

  Nasuprot njima, portparol ukrajinske istočne borbene skupine potvrdio je teške bitke, ali i zanijekao da su Ukrajinci poraženi. Guverner Donjecke oblasti Pavlo Kirilenko, pak, potvrdio je na kijevskoj televiziji ukrajinske djelomične gubitke, ali je dodao i da se pokušavaju vratiti izgubljeni položaji kako bi cijeli Soledar ostao pod ukrajinskom kontrolom. Gradić sjeveroistočno od Bahmuta, nekadašnju adresu bivših radnika u rudnicima soli i gipsa, hrabro brani Ukrajinska 46. desantno-jurišna brigada, a odnedavno su pojačani i bataljunom za posebne namjene Ukrajinske legije stranaca.

Zašto je Soledar odjednom postao važna ratna markacija i strateška točka ove faze rata?

Nedavno je Jevgenij Prigožin, osnivač plaćeničke vojske Wagner, javno izjavio da je zauzimanje Soledara i Bahmuta od vitalnog značaja za ruski opstanak jer su ovi gradovi povezani golemom podzemnom mrežom rudnika i tunela gdje se mogu skladištiti brojne trupe i ratna oprema. Sustav rudnika Soledar i Bahmut Prigožin je nazvao ‘trešnjom na ratnoj torti‘ jer se u njegovim hodnicima mogu sačuvati velike grupe ljudi na sigurnim dubinama od 80 do 100 metara, a istim se podzemljem mogu čak kretati i tenkovi te borbena vozila pješaštva.

Drugi motiv velike ruske ofenzive na Soledar, u kojoj navodno sudjeluju uglavnom ruske plaćeničke vojske, je i njihov kronični zastoj kod samog Bahmuta. Britanska obavještajna služba objavila je kako su Rusi posljednjih dana rapidno smanjili pritisak na Bahmut prebacivanjem glavnine svojih napada upravo na Soledar. I Wall Street Journal navodi kako je grčeviti otpor ukrajinskih branitelja u Bahmutu natjerao rusku stranu na pregrupiranje. U najnovijem zahvatu usmjerili su napade na Soledar kako bi prodorom s drugog krila pokušali okružiti Bahmut.  Borbe u ovom sektoru postale su stalna borba za bokove pa ruske snage nastavljaju bacati sve što imaju na Ukrajince u nadi da će ostvariti dublji proboj.

Bitke oko Bahmuta ostaju tako do daljnjega krvavo natezanje konopa usred rascijepljenih drvoreda, blatnjavih rovova i kraterima izrovanih njiva posutih mrtvim tijelima, pravih mjesečevih krajolika ničije zemlje. Nedavna snimka prikazuje ukrajinske snage kako iz velike udaljenosti dronovima bacaju bombe na grupe Wagnerovih plaćenika.

Na Twitteru je objavljena i snimka borbi oko Bahmuta zasebnog bataljuna za posebne namjene Ukrajinske legije stranaca: na njoj je čečenski ratni veteran Rustam Azhiev sa svojom skupinom Ajnad al-Kavkaz. Većina ovih čečenskih boraca već ima dugo iskustvo rata protiv Rusa u Čečeniji i u Siriji.

     Samoproglašeno ‘božićno primirje‘ ruske snage iskoristile su za intenzivne pokušaje svojega napretka u istočnoj Donjeckoj oblasti, a situacija je po priznanju ukrajinskih dužnosnika "vrlo teška" u gradu Soledaru, udaljenom 15 kilometara od čuvenog Bahmuta. Zamjenica ukrajinskog ministra obrane Hanna Maliar je na Telegramu kasno sinoć vrlo znakovito objavila, a prenio Kyivindependent:

 "U Soledaru je vrlo teško. Oni (ruske trupe) tamo su usredotočili značajne napore kako bi došli do granica Donjecke oblasti".

Izjava Maliarove dolazi nakon niza izvješća ruskih propagandista da su ruske snage tijekom vikenda već slomile ukrajinsku obranu u Soledaru i da se u središtu grada vode žestoke borbe. Neki javljaju da su plaćenici grupe Wagner napravili "duboki prodor" kod gradića Soledara i da su pod kontrolu stavili veliku tamošnju tvornicu Artemsol. Glasnogovornik ruske paradržave Luhanska Vitalij Kiseljov najavio je da će Soledar "u sljedećim danima sigurno pasti".

  Nasuprot njima, portparol ukrajinske istočne borbene skupine potvrdio je teške bitke, ali i zanijekao da su Ukrajinci poraženi. Guverner Donjecke oblasti Pavlo Kirilenko, pak, potvrdio je na kijevskoj televiziji ukrajinske djelomične gubitke, ali je dodao i da se pokušavaju vratiti izgubljeni položaji kako bi cijeli Soledar ostao pod ukrajinskom kontrolom. Gradić sjeveroistočno od Bahmuta, nekadašnju adresu bivših radnika u rudnicima soli i gipsa, hrabro brani Ukrajinska 46. desantno-jurišna brigada, a odnedavno su pojačani i bataljunom za posebne namjene Ukrajinske legije stranaca.

Zašto je Soledar odjednom postao važna ratna markacija i strateška točka ove faze rata?

Nedavno je Jevgenij Prigožin, osnivač plaćeničke vojske Wagner, javno izjavio da je zauzimanje Soledara i Bahmuta od vitalnog značaja za ruski opstanak jer su ovi gradovi povezani golemom podzemnom mrežom rudnika i tunela gdje se mogu skladištiti brojne trupe i ratna oprema. Sustav rudnika Soledar i Bahmut Prigožin je nazvao ‘trešnjom na ratnoj torti‘ jer se u njegovim hodnicima mogu sačuvati velike grupe ljudi na sigurnim dubinama od 80 do 100 metara, a istim se podzemljem mogu čak kretati i tenkovi te borbena vozila pješaštva.

Drugi motiv velike ruske ofenzive na Soledar, u kojoj navodno sudjeluju uglavnom ruske plaćeničke vojske, je i njihov kronični zastoj kod samog Bahmuta. Britanska obavještajna služba objavila je kako su Rusi posljednjih dana rapidno smanjili pritisak na Bahmut prebacivanjem glavnine svojih napada upravo na Soledar. I Wall Street Journal navodi kako je grčeviti otpor ukrajinskih branitelja u Bahmutu natjerao rusku stranu na pregrupiranje. U najnovijem zahvatu usmjerili su napade na Soledar kako bi prodorom s drugog krila pokušali okružiti Bahmut.  Borbe u ovom sektoru postale su stalna borba za bokove pa ruske snage nastavljaju bacati sve što imaju na Ukrajince u nadi da će ostvariti dublji proboj.

Bitke oko Bahmuta ostaju tako do daljnjega krvavo natezanje konopa usred rascijepljenih drvoreda, blatnjavih rovova i kraterima izrovanih njiva posutih mrtvim tijelima, pravih mjesečevih krajolika ničije zemlje. Nedavna snimka prikazuje ukrajinske snage kako iz velike udaljenosti dronovima bacaju bombe na grupe Wagnerovih plaćenika.

Na Twitteru je objavljena i snimka borbi oko Bahmuta zasebnog bataljuna za posebne namjene Ukrajinske legije stranaca: na njoj je čečenski ratni veteran Rustam Azhiev sa svojom skupinom Ajnad al-Kavkaz. Većina ovih čečenskih boraca već ima dugo iskustvo rata protiv Rusa u Čečeniji i u Siriji.
