Prvi čovjek Bugattija, čovjek koji je jučer stajao rame uz rame s prvim čovjekom Porschea, izvršni direktor Rimac grupe Mate Rimac gost je RTL Direkta.
Što je iduće?
Mi smatramo da smo na početku našeg puta, ovo za Bugatti znamo već dvije godine. Znam danas puno veće stvari veće od Bugattija – vidjet ćemo. Oko robotaxija će biti velika stvar
To nije samo spin? To doista je projekt?
Mi smo odlučili se dovesti do određene faze, imamo prototipove, doći do određenog nivoa i pokazati vam – bit ćete oduševljeni. Bit će veće od Rimca i Bugattija, za cijeli svijet u Hrvatskoj.
Vi ste sad preko noći od direktora jedne tvrtki, postali direktor tri tvrtke: krovne tvrtke - Rimac grupe, direktor ste Bugati/Rimca i Rimac Technology, kako ćete upravljati svim tim, kako ćete se utrostručiti ? Trebat će vam sreće?
Tu je i P3, Robottaxi – dan postaje kraći.
Osjećate li tremu, strah?
Cijelo vrijeme, izazovi su mi draži. Bio je prije strah preživljavanja firme, to je bio puno veći stres. Puno veća odgovornost. Sada imamo za brend odgovornost i to nam je dao Volskwagen i Porsche – takvu odgovornost dobiti je znak velikog povjerenja, ali i prilika. Imamo hrpu ideja, radimo na novom model Bugattija. Bugatti Rimac je, ali ostaje Bugatti kao brend. Razvoj budućih tih modela je tu u Hrvatskoj, a onda se seli proizvodnja u cijelu Hrvatsku, a sklapanje Bugattija će biti na njihovoj lokaciji.
Prvi put kod nas je odjel koji dolazi kod nas iz zapadnih zemalja, ako se ne varam…
Da, imamo već preko 600 inženjera. Bugatti ima 200 svojih koji se neće preseliti ovdje. Djelomice ćemo preuzeti mi, djelomice Volskwagen. Otvaramo i urede van Hrvatske, imamo u Engleskoj, bit će u Njemačkoj…
Mnogi natpisi pišu, Bugatti je u dugovima - VW je jedva čekao da se riješi Bugattija?
Imate provjerene informacije, profitabilan je Bugatti zadnje 3 godine. Puno smo efikasniji, koja je razlika? VW je ogromna firma koja je navikla proizvoditi ovakve automobile i to rade na taj način da je za njih preskupo. Mi drugačije radimo, interno, smanjujemo troškove i rashode. S tim pristupom i tehnologijom možemo imati uspješnu firmu koja će financijski bit profitabilna , nemamo isti pristup.
Najvredniji dio Rimac automobila je sada Bugatti?
Nije Bugatti, to je jedan dio, a Rimac Technology je vredniji. Po omjerima. To je evaluacija od financijskih izvještaja, financijskih stručnjaka koji su procijenili – Rimac business i technology je vrijedniji.

Što je iduće?
Mi smatramo da smo na početku našeg puta, ovo za Bugatti znamo već dvije godine. Znam danas puno veće stvari veće od Bugattija – vidjet ćemo. Oko robotaxija će biti velika stvar
To nije samo spin? To doista je projekt?
Mi smo odlučili se dovesti do određene faze, imamo prototipove, doći do određenog nivoa i pokazati vam – bit ćete oduševljeni. Bit će veće od Rimca i Bugattija, za cijeli svijet u Hrvatskoj.
Vi ste sad preko noći od direktora jedne tvrtki, postali direktor tri tvrtke: krovne tvrtke - Rimac grupe, direktor ste Bugati/Rimca i Rimac Technology, kako ćete upravljati svim tim, kako ćete se utrostručiti ? Trebat će vam sreće?
Tu je i P3, Robottaxi – dan postaje kraći.
Osjećate li tremu, strah?
Cijelo vrijeme, izazovi su mi draži. Bio je prije strah preživljavanja firme, to je bio puno veći stres. Puno veća odgovornost. Sada imamo za brend odgovornost i to nam je dao Volskwagen i Porsche – takvu odgovornost dobiti je znak velikog povjerenja, ali i prilika. Imamo hrpu ideja, radimo na novom model Bugattija. Bugatti Rimac je, ali ostaje Bugatti kao brend. Razvoj budućih tih modela je tu u Hrvatskoj, a onda se seli proizvodnja u cijelu Hrvatsku, a sklapanje Bugattija će biti na njihovoj lokaciji.
Prvi put kod nas je odjel koji dolazi kod nas iz zapadnih zemalja, ako se ne varam…
Da, imamo već preko 600 inženjera. Bugatti ima 200 svojih koji se neće preseliti ovdje. Djelomice ćemo preuzeti mi, djelomice Volskwagen. Otvaramo i urede van Hrvatske, imamo u Engleskoj, bit će u Njemačkoj…
Mnogi natpisi pišu, Bugatti je u dugovima - VW je jedva čekao da se riješi Bugattija?
Imate provjerene informacije, profitabilan je Bugatti zadnje 3 godine. Puno smo efikasniji, koja je razlika? VW je ogromna firma koja je navikla proizvoditi ovakve automobile i to rade na taj način da je za njih preskupo. Mi drugačije radimo, interno, smanjujemo troškove i rashode. S tim pristupom i tehnologijom možemo imati uspješnu firmu koja će financijski bit profitabilna , nemamo isti pristup.
Najvredniji dio Rimac automobila je sada Bugatti?
Nije Bugatti, to je jedan dio, a Rimac Technology je vredniji. Po omjerima. To je evaluacija od financijskih izvještaja, financijskih stručnjaka koji su procijenili – Rimac business i technology je vrijedniji.
