U Londonu je održan tjedan mode za proljeće/ljeto 2021. u posve novom ruhu. Obilježile su ga male privatne revije, piste smještene u prirodi i online prikazivanja. Za razliku od sve češće street style manije fotografa i influencera te gala večera koje kradu pozornost dizajnerima, ove godine tako se u fokusu opet našla odjeća.

Britanska prijestolnica je poznata po tome da tijekom tjedna mode daje fokus mladim kreatorima koji su tek napustili dizajnerske škole s naglaskom na razigranosti koja nadilazi klasni status koji ova odjeća nerijetko ima i posvećuju se osobnoj kreativnosti, ali i svjetonazorima. U Londonu se tako među prvima govorilo o održivosti mode, inkluzivnosti u pogledu rase, ali i veličine modela te o uniseks odjeći te su se brisale granice među spolovima na revijama.

London je ipak dom i nekim velikim imenima kao što je Burberry, ali i sve značajnijem brendu Victorije Beckham koji su na drugačije načine pristupili novim okolnostima u prezentaciji svoga rada.

Ricardo Tisci crnohumorno je odabrao motiv za svoju novu reviju za Burberry u obliku ljubavi između sirene i morskoga psa. S jedne strane su ljudi našli mir zahvaljujući povlačenju u svoje domove, a i oni koji su bili prisiljeni nastaviti raditi bili su okruženi s puno manje gužve, dok s druge strane morski pas simbolizira strah koji se većini uvukao u kosti. Revija je održana u šumi nedaleko od Londona, a dominirala je plavetno plava boja u skladu s temom kolekcije te žarko narančasta koja podsjeća na pojas za spašavanje koji će mnogima trebati i poslije lockdowna.

Victoria Beckham suočena s financijskim problemima srezala je svoju kolekciju na samo 20 lookova i zaposlila samo 4 modela da ih nose. Međutim to je nije spriječilo da obogati svoju kolekciju novom kreativnošću i skine figurativni steznik te dizajnira ležernije komade opuštenih krojeva. Odjeća je bila neurednija, čak 'šlampava', a hlače u šarenim bojama koje su obilježile kolekciju opisala je kao lokvu na podu.

Jedna od najuspješnijih kolekcija čitavog tjedna mode bila je Erdemova inspirirana romanom Susane Sontag 'The Volcano Lover'. Erdem Moralioglu poželio je napraviti susret formalnog i neformalnog premda u njegovom slučaju potonje znače nelsonovske admiralske jakne i ogrtači iz opere u nešto skromnijim kaki bojama te povremeno pojavljivanje trapera. Ostatak je bio prava demonstracija raskoši.

Modeli su kroz šumski put nosili vezene haljine od muslina i organze i Jacquard iz 18. stoljeća s pojačanim sjajem. Teško je procijeniti gdje završava jedan komad odjeće a počinje novi, mali dokaz neurednosti i neposlušnosti koji otklanja mogućnost da se kolekcija pretvori u kič. Premda živimo u vremenima kada od odjeće očekujemo funkcionalnost, nešto u Erdemovoj reviji donijelo nam je i nešto važnije, osjećaj ganuća kroz reminiscencije o prošlosti.

Ni Simone Rocha bez obzira na pandemiju ne predviđa modni utilitarizam, baš obratno, ali predstavljanje kolekcije bilo je prije svrhovito nego raskošno. Odjeća je sjala u kontradikciji s minimalističkim prostorom. Rocha je rekla da je za nju bilo ključno odjeću prikazati na tijelima jer je tako oživljava, i materijale i emocije od kojih je sazdana.

I uistinu je bitno njenu odjeću vidjeti izbliza jer se ljepota krije u detaljima, malim motivima dvoraca na velu od tila, minijaturnim monogramima i monokromnim uzorcima uglavnom crne boje na crnoj tkanini velikog volumena. Njena kolekcija možda jest eskapistička, ali ona ne bježi od te činjenice, štoviše misli da je to upravo ono za čim žudimo.

U Londonu je održan tjedan mode za proljeće/ljeto 2021. u posve novom ruhu. Obilježile su ga male privatne revije, piste smještene u prirodi i online prikazivanja. Za razliku od sve češće street style manije fotografa i influencera te gala večera koje kradu pozornost dizajnerima, ove godine tako se u fokusu opet našla odjeća.

Britanska prijestolnica je poznata po tome da tijekom tjedna mode daje fokus mladim kreatorima koji su tek napustili dizajnerske škole s naglaskom na razigranosti koja nadilazi klasni status koji ova odjeća nerijetko ima i posvećuju se osobnoj kreativnosti, ali i svjetonazorima. U Londonu se tako među prvima govorilo o održivosti mode, inkluzivnosti u pogledu rase, ali i veličine modela te o uniseks odjeći te su se brisale granice među spolovima na revijama.

London je ipak dom i nekim velikim imenima kao što je Burberry, ali i sve značajnijem brendu Victorije Beckham koji su na drugačije načine pristupili novim okolnostima u prezentaciji svoga rada.

Ricardo Tisci crnohumorno je odabrao motiv za svoju novu reviju za Burberry u obliku ljubavi između sirene i morskoga psa. S jedne strane su ljudi našli mir zahvaljujući povlačenju u svoje domove, a i oni koji su bili prisiljeni nastaviti raditi bili su okruženi s puno manje gužve, dok s druge strane morski pas simbolizira strah koji se većini uvukao u kosti. Revija je održana u šumi nedaleko od Londona, a dominirala je plavetno plava boja u skladu s temom kolekcije te žarko narančasta koja podsjeća na pojas za spašavanje koji će mnogima trebati i poslije lockdowna.

Victoria Beckham suočena s financijskim problemima srezala je svoju kolekciju na samo 20 lookova i zaposlila samo 4 modela da ih nose. Međutim to je nije spriječilo da obogati svoju kolekciju novom kreativnošću i skine figurativni steznik te dizajnira ležernije komade opuštenih krojeva. Odjeća je bila neurednija, čak 'šlampava', a hlače u šarenim bojama koje su obilježile kolekciju opisala je kao lokvu na podu.

Jedna od najuspješnijih kolekcija čitavog tjedna mode bila je Erdemova inspirirana romanom Susane Sontag 'The Volcano Lover'. Erdem Moralioglu poželio je napraviti susret formalnog i neformalnog premda u njegovom slučaju potonje znače nelsonovske admiralske jakne i ogrtači iz opere u nešto skromnijim kaki bojama te povremeno pojavljivanje trapera. Ostatak je bio prava demonstracija raskoši.

Modeli su kroz šumski put nosili vezene haljine od muslina i organze i Jacquard iz 18. stoljeća s pojačanim sjajem. Teško je procijeniti gdje završava jedan komad odjeće a počinje novi, mali dokaz neurednosti i neposlušnosti koji otklanja mogućnost da se kolekcija pretvori u kič. Premda živimo u vremenima kada od odjeće očekujemo funkcionalnost, nešto u Erdemovoj reviji donijelo nam je i nešto važnije, osjećaj ganuća kroz reminiscencije o prošlosti.

Ni Simone Rocha bez obzira na pandemiju ne predviđa modni utilitarizam, baš obratno, ali predstavljanje kolekcije bilo je prije svrhovito nego raskošno. Odjeća je sjala u kontradikciji s minimalističkim prostorom. Rocha je rekla da je za nju bilo ključno odjeću prikazati na tijelima jer je tako oživljava, i materijale i emocije od kojih je sazdana.

I uistinu je bitno njenu odjeću vidjeti izbliza jer se ljepota krije u detaljima, malim motivima dvoraca na velu od tila, minijaturnim monogramima i monokromnim uzorcima uglavnom crne boje na crnoj tkanini velikog volumena. Njena kolekcija možda jest eskapistička, ali ona ne bježi od te činjenice, štoviše misli da je to upravo ono za čim žudimo.

Bajkovite kolekcije Londonskog tjedna mode uvjeravaju nas da će sve biti u redu: Victoria Beckham iznenadila ‘šlampavom‘ kreacijom, Erdem oduševio

U Londonu je održan tjedan mode za proljeće/ljeto 2021. u posve novom ruhu. Obilježile su ga male privatne revije, piste smještene u prirodi i online prikazivanja. Za razliku od sve češće street style manije fotografa i influencera te gala večera koje kradu pozornost dizajnerima, ove godine tako se u fokusu opet našla odjeća.

Britanska prijestolnica je poznata po tome da tijekom tjedna mode daje fokus mladim kreatorima koji su tek napustili dizajnerske škole s naglaskom na razigranosti koja nadilazi klasni status koji ova odjeća nerijetko ima i posvećuju se osobnoj kreativnosti, ali i svjetonazorima. U Londonu se tako među prvima govorilo o održivosti mode, inkluzivnosti u pogledu rase, ali i veličine modela te o uniseks odjeći te su se brisale granice među spolovima na revijama.

London je ipak dom i nekim velikim imenima kao što je Burberry, ali i sve značajnijem brendu Victorije Beckham koji su na drugačije načine pristupili novim okolnostima u prezentaciji svoga rada.

Ricardo Tisci crnohumorno je odabrao motiv za svoju novu reviju za Burberry u obliku ljubavi između sirene i morskoga psa. S jedne strane su ljudi našli mir zahvaljujući povlačenju u svoje domove, a i oni koji su bili prisiljeni nastaviti raditi bili su okruženi s puno manje gužve, dok s druge strane morski pas simbolizira strah koji se većini uvukao u kosti. Revija je održana u šumi nedaleko od Londona, a dominirala je plavetno plava boja u skladu s temom kolekcije te žarko narančasta koja podsjeća na pojas za spašavanje koji će mnogima trebati i poslije lockdowna.

Victoria Beckham suočena s financijskim problemima srezala je svoju kolekciju na samo 20 lookova i zaposlila samo 4 modela da ih nose. Međutim to je nije spriječilo da obogati svoju kolekciju novom kreativnošću i skine figurativni steznik te dizajnira ležernije komade opuštenih krojeva. Odjeća je bila neurednija, čak 'šlampava', a hlače u šarenim bojama koje su obilježile kolekciju opisala je kao lokvu na podu.

Jedna od najuspješnijih kolekcija čitavog tjedna mode bila je Erdemova inspirirana romanom Susane Sontag 'The Volcano Lover'. Erdem Moralioglu poželio je napraviti susret formalnog i neformalnog premda u njegovom slučaju potonje znače nelsonovske admiralske jakne i ogrtači iz opere u nešto skromnijim kaki bojama te povremeno pojavljivanje trapera. Ostatak je bio prava demonstracija raskoši.

Modeli su kroz šumski put nosili vezene haljine od muslina i organze i Jacquard iz 18. stoljeća s pojačanim sjajem. Teško je procijeniti gdje završava jedan komad odjeće a počinje novi, mali dokaz neurednosti i neposlušnosti koji otklanja mogućnost da se kolekcija pretvori u kič.
