"Dobro došli u Utmark" ("Velkommen til Utmark"/"Welcome To Utmark") također uranja u jednu malu zajednicu kao "Mare iz Easttowna", a s ovom norveškom serijom HBO potvrđuje serijsko globaliziranje lokalnog sadržaja, čime se nameće kao konkurent Netflixu.

Prošle godine HBO Europe je predstavio španjolske serije "Patria" i "30 novčića", te švedsku "Beartown". Trend globalizacije nastavlja, dakle, ovogodišnja norveška humoristično-dramska serija koja ima premijeru 18. travnja na HBO GO-u, a u ponudi će se odjednom naći svih osam epizoda koje smo uspjeli pretpremijerno pogledati za recenziju.

Iza "Dobrodošli u Utmark" stoje provjerena skandinavska kreatorsko-redateljska imena: Kim Fupz Aakeson je danski scenarist filmova "Redoslijed nestanka" i "A Somewhat Gentle Man" Hansa Petera Mollanda koji je prvospomenuti naslov preradio u "Hladnu istinu" s Liamom Neesonom, a Dagur Kári je režiser islandskog festivalskog hita "Djevičanska gora".

"Velkommen til Utmark" je prepoznatljivo skandinavska serija po specifičnom studenom ugođaju i mračnom humoru, svojevrsni nordijski odgovor na Lynchov "Twin Peaks" i "Fargo" braće Coen, samo s manje elemenata misterioznog trilera/krimića, a više – modernog vesterna.

Naime, serija se odvija daleko od velegrada, u gradiću na sjeveru Norveške, inačici nordijskog "frontiera". Uvodna scena je vesternska u postavljanju konflikta, ako ne i njegovoj egzekuciji.

Farmer (Tobias Santelmann) pronalazi zaklanu ovcu i dolazi kod vlasnika psa (Stig Henrik Hoff) koji ju je zaklao. Kamera je pozicionirana iza potonjeg muškarca kao u vesternu, premda ovaj neće potegnuti pištolj. "Moj pas luta gdje hoće na mojoj zemlji, to mu je u prirodi, predator je", govori vlasnik psa, inače švercer alkohola i obožavatelj prirode.

Konflikt među njima je forte serije i zaoštrava se kad farmerova žena (Marie Blokhus) otkrije da ga vara upravo s njegovim neprijateljem kod kojeg odlazi živjeti i sa sobom odvodi kćerku (Alma Günther), dok on tone sve dublje u alkohol i povezuje se s ukrajinskom prostitutkom (May-Linda Kosumović).

Ovo je samo dio galerije živopisnih likova iz provincije na civilizacijskom rubu Norveške gdje dolazi optimistična učiteljica iz Osla ("Lijepo je ovdje, priroda, mala zajednica..."), poput korumpiranog šerifa, svećenika, pogrebnika, svodnika i vlasnice dućana kojoj bi dobrodošao egzorcizam da istjera duh pokojnog supruga iz sebe.

Pojedini likovi plešu na rubu karikature i djeluju suvišnima (vlasnica dućana), ali većina njih su portretirani kao ljudi s ljudskim problemima i nijansama sive, boje gotovo trajno nastanjene na oblacima iznad Utmarka i pripadajuće prirode ovjekovječene u totalima na način da oduzima dah.

Gradić usred ničega i prelijepi ogoljeni krajobraz oko njega utkan je u trodimenzionalne likove i oni u njega, kao i komedija u tragediju i obratno u rijetko humanoj seriji novijeg datuma, lišenoj tipičnih karaktera kreiranih putem serijskih algoritama.

Likove iz Utmarka vrijedi upoznati i čuti njihove čudne dogodovštine koje vode do druge sezone. "S vremenom će to postati još jedna od naših čudnih priča", smatra jedan lik. Dobro došli u Utmark.

"Dobro došli u Utmark" ("Velkommen til Utmark"/"Welcome To Utmark") također uranja u jednu malu zajednicu kao "Mare iz Easttowna", a s ovom norveškom serijom HBO potvrđuje serijsko globaliziranje lokalnog sadržaja, čime se nameće kao konkurent Netflixu.

Prošle godine HBO Europe je predstavio španjolske serije "Patria" i "30 novčića", te švedsku "Beartown". Trend globalizacije nastavlja, dakle, ovogodišnja norveška humoristično-dramska serija koja ima premijeru 18. travnja na HBO GO-u, a u ponudi će se odjednom naći svih osam epizoda koje smo uspjeli pretpremijerno pogledati za recenziju.

Iza "Dobrodošli u Utmark" stoje provjerena skandinavska kreatorsko-redateljska imena: Kim Fupz Aakeson je danski scenarist filmova "Redoslijed nestanka" i "A Somewhat Gentle Man" Hansa Petera Mollanda koji je prvospomenuti naslov preradio u "Hladnu istinu" s Liamom Neesonom, a Dagur Kári je režiser islandskog festivalskog hita "Djevičanska gora".

"Velkommen til Utmark" je prepoznatljivo skandinavska serija po specifičnom studenom ugođaju i mračnom humoru, svojevrsni nordijski odgovor na Lynchov "Twin Peaks" i "Fargo" braće Coen, samo s manje elemenata misterioznog trilera/krimića, a više – modernog vesterna.

Naime, serija se odvija daleko od velegrada, u gradiću na sjeveru Norveške, inačici nordijskog "frontiera". Uvodna scena je vesternska u postavljanju konflikta, ako ne i njegovoj egzekuciji.

Farmer (Tobias Santelmann) pronalazi zaklanu ovcu i dolazi kod vlasnika psa (Stig Henrik Hoff) koji ju je zaklao. Kamera je pozicionirana iza potonjeg muškarca kao u vesternu, premda ovaj neće potegnuti pištolj. "Moj pas luta gdje hoće na mojoj zemlji, to mu je u prirodi, predator je", govori vlasnik psa, inače švercer alkohola i obožavatelj prirode.

Konflikt među njima je forte serije i zaoštrava se kad farmerova žena (Marie Blokhus) otkrije da ga vara upravo s njegovim neprijateljem kod kojeg odlazi živjeti i sa sobom odvodi kćerku (Alma Günther), dok on tone sve dublje u alkohol i povezuje se s ukrajinskom prostitutkom (May-Linda Kosumović).

Ovo je samo dio galerije živopisnih likova iz provincije na civilizacijskom rubu Norveške gdje dolazi optimistična učiteljica iz Osla ("Lijepo je ovdje, priroda, mala zajednica..."), poput korumpiranog šerifa, svećenika, pogrebnika, svodnika i vlasnice dućana kojoj bi dobrodošao egzorcizam da istjera duh pokojnog supruga iz sebe.

Pojedini likovi plešu na rubu karikature i djeluju suvišnima (vlasnica dućana), ali većina njih su portretirani kao ljudi s ljudskim problemima i nijansama sive, boje gotovo trajno nastanjene na oblacima iznad Utmarka i pripadajuće prirode ovjekovječene u totalima na način da oduzima dah.

Gradić usred ničega i prelijepi ogoljeni krajobraz oko njega utkan je u trodimenzionalne likove i oni u njega, kao i komedija u tragediju i obratno u rijetko humanoj seriji novijeg datuma, lišenoj tipičnih karaktera kreiranih putem serijskih algoritama.

Likove iz Utmarka vrijedi upoznati i čuti njihove čudne dogodovštine koje vode do druge sezone. "S vremenom će to postati još jedna od naših čudnih priča", smatra jedan lik. Dobro došli u Utmark.
