Od Halloweena nas dijeli svega nekoliko dana i naše zagrijavanje za praznik horora bliži se kraju nakon što smo vam protelih tjedana skretali pažnju na recentnu ponudu strave i užasa. Fanovi strave i užasa imaju veliki izbor.

Tko bi u kino, čeka ga veliki hit "Noć vještica ubija" i friški "Duhovi tame". Tko bi, pak, ostao kući i svejedno mu je film ili serija (glavno da je neki streaming), može upaliti novog "Chuckyja", a opcija "B" je i "Ponoćna misa", pa i "Noćni zubi", svakako prije nego "Znam što si radila prošlog ljeta" ili "Provala".

Iz friške ponude, dakle, najviše prednjači Chucky u svom prvom serijskom izdanju nakon sedam filmova u rasponu od 1988. do 2017. i nedavnog remakea "Dječja igra" iz 2019. godine.

Sigurno znate za lutka crvene kose opsjednutog duhom serijskog ubojice s glasom Brada Dourifa ("I'm Chucky, wanna play?", "...friend till the end" itd.) kojeg je u remakeu zamijenio Mark Hamill.

Chucky je legenda gotovo kao Michael Myers (dijele kuhinjski nož), Freddy Krueger i Jason Vorhees. On je jedini negativac strave i užasa koji se može pohvaliti da je mahom prirodno mijenjao žanr od horora do komedije ("Bride of Chucky", "Seed Of Chucky") i natrag ("Curse of Chucky").

Ako je ubojiti lutak mogao mijenjati žanrove, može i formate, od velikog do malog ekrana, premda se, na temelju prve tri emitirane epizode (od ukupno deset) u prosječnom trajanju od oko 40 minuta, čini da je "Chucky" izvorno zamišljen kao film, ali pretvoren u seriju nakon što je njegov tvorac Don Mancini dobio ponudu televizijskog kanala SyFy.

Srećom, rastezanje je zasad minimalno kako inače znade biti i ovo bi se, ostane li na razini kvalitete prvih epizoda, moglo pretvoriti u jedno od boljih Chuckyjevih izdanja.

Mancini se vraća "lutkarskim" korijenima "Child's Play" serijala (Chucky nije računalno generiran, već animatronička lutka) koji je prilagodio duhu vremena i vratio Dourifa, a navodno će i još neke članove filmske ekipe, poput Jennifer Tilly.

Glavni lik je 14-godišnji gay školarac Jake Wheeler (Zackary Arthur), s čijom se orijentacijom ne može pomiriti njegov otac, udovac Lucas (Devon Sawa), dok ga rođak Junior (Teo Briones) zbog toga zeza.

Nakon što Jake, koji uzgred voli raditi skulpture od dijelova lutaka, kupi Chuckyja na uličnoj rasprodaji "vintage" stvari, ovaj će se u jednoj sceni naći u njegovu ormaru i odatle izići.

Jako zgodno, kao i dijalog lutka s Jakeom, kad mu otkrije da i sam ima gay klinca (sjetite se "Seed Of Chucky") i da je "cool s tim" jer on, Chucky, "nije čudovište".

Chucky će, izgleda, postati Jakeov "prijatelj (i zaštitnik) do kraja" i imati potrebu da kazni "bullyje" koji su ga načinili ili još čine izopćenikom.

Neke horor-situacije su standardne, od osupnute izjave da je netko uzeo "butcher knife" do otkrića da Chucky nema baterije, ali Mancini je režijski zaigraniji od većine TV redatelja.

Mancini njima očitava lekciju uporabom "point of view" perspektive, podijeljenih ekrana ili orkestriranjem "freak accident" scena strave, tipa da domaćica završi u otvorenoj perilici suđa nataknuta na kuhinjske noževe.

Jednu je scenu (p)ostavio i za proslavu Noći vještica. Dijalog ide ovako nekako: "Nemam kostim. To je u redu, samo povedi Chuckyja."

Od Halloweena nas dijeli svega nekoliko dana i naše zagrijavanje za praznik horora bliži se kraju nakon što smo vam protelih tjedana skretali pažnju na recentnu ponudu strave i užasa. Fanovi strave i užasa imaju veliki izbor.

Tko bi u kino, čeka ga veliki hit "Noć vještica ubija" i friški "Duhovi tame". Tko bi, pak, ostao kući i svejedno mu je film ili serija (glavno da je neki streaming), može upaliti novog "Chuckyja", a opcija "B" je i "Ponoćna misa", pa i "Noćni zubi", svakako prije nego "Znam što si radila prošlog ljeta" ili "Provala".

Iz friške ponude, dakle, najviše prednjači Chucky u svom prvom serijskom izdanju nakon sedam filmova u rasponu od 1988. do 2017. i nedavnog remakea "Dječja igra" iz 2019. godine.

Sigurno znate za lutka crvene kose opsjednutog duhom serijskog ubojice s glasom Brada Dourifa ("I'm Chucky, wanna play?", "...friend till the end" itd.) kojeg je u remakeu zamijenio Mark Hamill.

Chucky je legenda gotovo kao Michael Myers (dijele kuhinjski nož), Freddy Krueger i Jason Vorhees. On je jedini negativac strave i užasa koji se može pohvaliti da je mahom prirodno mijenjao žanr od horora do komedije ("Bride of Chucky", "Seed Of Chucky") i natrag ("Curse of Chucky").

Ako je ubojiti lutak mogao mijenjati žanrove, može i formate, od velikog do malog ekrana, premda se, na temelju prve tri emitirane epizode (od ukupno deset) u prosječnom trajanju od oko 40 minuta, čini da je "Chucky" izvorno zamišljen kao film, ali pretvoren u seriju nakon što je njegov tvorac Don Mancini dobio ponudu televizijskog kanala SyFy.

Srećom, rastezanje je zasad minimalno kako inače znade biti i ovo bi se, ostane li na razini kvalitete prvih epizoda, moglo pretvoriti u jedno od boljih Chuckyjevih izdanja.

Mancini se vraća "lutkarskim" korijenima "Child's Play" serijala (Chucky nije računalno generiran, već animatronička lutka) koji je prilagodio duhu vremena i vratio Dourifa, a navodno će i još neke članove filmske ekipe, poput Jennifer Tilly.

Glavni lik je 14-godišnji gay školarac Jake Wheeler (Zackary Arthur), s čijom se orijentacijom ne može pomiriti njegov otac, udovac Lucas (Devon Sawa), dok ga rođak Junior (Teo Briones) zbog toga zeza.

Nakon što Jake, koji uzgred voli raditi skulpture od dijelova lutaka, kupi Chuckyja na uličnoj rasprodaji "vintage" stvari, ovaj će se u jednoj sceni naći u njegovu ormaru i odatle izići.

Jako zgodno, kao i dijalog lutka s Jakeom, kad mu otkrije da i sam ima gay klinca (sjetite se "Seed Of Chucky") i da je "cool s tim" jer on, Chucky, "nije čudovište".

Chucky će, izgleda, postati Jakeov "prijatelj (i zaštitnik) do kraja" i imati potrebu da kazni "bullyje" koji su ga načinili ili još čine izopćenikom.

Neke horor-situacije su standardne, od osupnute izjave da je netko uzeo "butcher knife" do otkrića da Chucky nema baterije, ali Mancini je režijski zaigraniji od većine TV redatelja.

Mancini njima očitava lekciju uporabom "point of view" perspektive, podijeljenih ekrana ili orkestriranjem "freak accident" scena strave, tipa da domaćica završi u otvorenoj perilici suđa nataknuta na kuhinjske noževe.

Jednu je scenu (p)ostavio i za proslavu Noći vještica. Dijalog ide ovako nekako: "Nemam kostim. To je u redu, samo povedi Chuckyja."
