Jedna od najvećih teniskih zvijezdi svih vremena i analitičarka ESPN-a, legendarna Amerikanka Chris Evert objavila je kako joj je ponovno dijagnosticiran rak te kako neće biti dio ekipe koja će pratiti i analizriati događanja na Australian Openu 2024. godine.

- Otkako mi je prvi put dijagnosticirana bolest prije dvije godine, bila sam vrlo otvorena o čitavom iskustvu. Htjela sam vas sve i ovog puta obavijestiti o situaciji. Moj se rak vratio - objavila je Amerikanka.

Osvajačica čak 157 WTA titula u karijeri, s rakom se prvi put suočila u siječnju 2021. godine. Od raka jajnika 2020. godine preminula je i njena mlađa sestra Jeanne.

- Iako je ovo dijagnoza koju nisam željela čuti, sretna sam što je sve rano uhvaćeno. Na temelju PET CT skeniranja, prošlog sam tjedna bila podvrgnuta još jednoj operaciji. Liječnici su pronašli stanice raka u istoj regiji zdjelice. Sve su stanice uklonjene i započela sam novu rundu kemoterapije- rekla je Evert.

Amerikanka je tijekom karijere osvojila 18 Grand Slam naslova, sedam Roland Garrosa, šest US Opena, tri Wimbledona i dva Australian Opena. Teniskim terenima vladala je 70ih i 80ih godina prošlog stoljeća kada je provela ukupno 260 tjedana na vrhu WTA ljestvice.

Jedna od najvećih teniskih zvijezdi svih vremena i analitičarka ESPN-a, legendarna Amerikanka Chris Evert objavila je kako joj je ponovno dijagnosticiran rak te kako neće biti dio ekipe koja će pratiti i analizriati događanja na Australian Openu 2024. godine.

- Otkako mi je prvi put dijagnosticirana bolest prije dvije godine, bila sam vrlo otvorena o čitavom iskustvu. Htjela sam vas sve i ovog puta obavijestiti o situaciji. Moj se rak vratio - objavila je Amerikanka.

Osvajačica čak 157 WTA titula u karijeri, s rakom se prvi put suočila u siječnju 2021. godine. Od raka jajnika 2020. godine preminula je i njena mlađa sestra Jeanne.

- Iako je ovo dijagnoza koju nisam željela čuti, sretna sam što je sve rano uhvaćeno. Na temelju PET CT skeniranja, prošlog sam tjedna bila podvrgnuta još jednoj operaciji. Liječnici su pronašli stanice raka u istoj regiji zdjelice. Sve su stanice uklonjene i započela sam novu rundu kemoterapije- rekla je Evert.

Jedna od najvećih teniskih zvijezdi svih vremena i analitičarka ESPN-a, legendarna Amerikanka Chris Evert objavila je kako joj je ponovno dijagnosticiran rak te kako neće biti dio ekipe koja će pratiti i analizriati događanja na Australian Openu 2024. godine.

- Otkako mi je prvi put dijagnosticirana bolest prije dvije godine, bila sam vrlo otvorena o čitavom iskustvu. Htjela sam vas sve i ovog puta obavijestiti o situaciji. Moj se rak vratio - objavila je Amerikanka.

Osvajačica čak 157 WTA titula u karijeri, s rakom se prvi put suočila u siječnju 2021. godine. Od raka jajnika 2020. godine preminula je i njena mlađa sestra Jeanne.

- Iako je ovo dijagnoza koju nisam željela čuti, sretna sam što je sve rano uhvaćeno. Na temelju PET CT skeniranja, prošlog sam tjedna bila podvrgnuta još jednoj operaciji. Liječnici su pronašli stanice raka u istoj regiji zdjelice. Sve su stanice uklonjene i započela sam novu rundu kemoterapije- rekla je Evert.
