Hrvatski Davis Cup reprezentativac Nino Serdarušić i Slovenac Blaž Rola igrat će za pobjednički trofej u konkurenciji parova na umaškom Plava Laguna Croatia Openu, nakon što su u petak u polufinalu svladali druge nositelje, Francuze Sadija Doumbiju i Fabiena Reboula sa 7-6 (5), 6-4.

Serdarušić je na umaškom turniru nastupio s petoricom različitih hrvatskih partnera na turniru parova, ali nijednom nije došao dalje od četvrtfinala. Ove godine se dogovorio za suradnju sa Slovencem i evo ga u finalu.

"Imamo podršku i slovenske publike. U Umagu sam obično dobro igrao parove, triput sam igrao u četvrtfinalu. Znao sam da je Blaž vrhunski igrač. Pokušavali smo se spojiti i prije na Challengerima, jer sam mislio da je jako dobra kombinacija, ali nikad nismo uspjeli. Evo, pokazuje se da sam bio u pravu. Jučer smo dobili dobar par, danas isto. Odigrali smo vrhunski meč, nije bilo prostora za greške", rekao je Serdarušić nakon što je po prvi put izborio finale na ATP Touru.  

Hrvatsko-slovenski par u finalu čekaju prvi nositelji, Talijani Simone Bolelli i Andrea Vavassori koji su sa 6-4, 7-6 (5) bili bolji od Nizozemaca Sandera Arendsa i Davida Pela.

"Mislim da će biti dosta publike na terenu. Idemo uživati. Dobro smo igrali, dobro serviramo cijelo vrijeme, tako da sigurno imamo šanse", zaključio je Nino koji može postati prvi hrvatski tenisač s naslovom u konkurenciji parova u Umagu.

Lovro Zovko je triput dogurao do finala, dvaput s Ivanom Ljubičićem (2000. i 2001.), jednom s Marinom Čilićem (2011.). Franko Škugor je 2014. bio finalist sa Srbinom Dušanom Lajovićem, a 2016. su na korak do trofeja ostali Nikola Mektić i Antonio Šančić. Posljednji su od Hrvata do finala dogurali Marin i Tomislav Draganja 2017.

Hrvatski Davis Cup reprezentativac Nino Serdarušić i Slovenac Blaž Rola igrat će za pobjednički trofej u konkurenciji parova na umaškom Plava Laguna Croatia Openu, nakon što su u petak u polufinalu svladali druge nositelje, Francuze Sadija Doumbiju i Fabiena Reboula sa 7-6 (5), 6-4.

Serdarušić je na umaškom turniru nastupio s petoricom različitih hrvatskih partnera na turniru parova, ali nijednom nije došao dalje od četvrtfinala. Ove godine se dogovorio za suradnju sa Slovencem i evo ga u finalu.

"Imamo podršku i slovenske publike. U Umagu sam obično dobro igrao parove, triput sam igrao u četvrtfinalu. Znao sam da je Blaž vrhunski igrač. Pokušavali smo se spojiti i prije na Challengerima, jer sam mislio da je jako dobra kombinacija, ali nikad nismo uspjeli. Evo, pokazuje se da sam bio u pravu. Jučer smo dobili dobar par, danas isto. Odigrali smo vrhunski meč, nije bilo prostora za greške", rekao je Serdarušić nakon što je po prvi put izborio finale na ATP Touru.  

Hrvatsko-slovenski par u finalu čekaju prvi nositelji, Talijani Simone Bolelli i Andrea Vavassori koji su sa 6-4, 7-6 (5) bili bolji od Nizozemaca Sandera Arendsa i Davida Pela.

"Mislim da će biti dosta publike na terenu. Idemo uživati. Dobro smo igrali, dobro serviramo cijelo vrijeme, tako da sigurno imamo šanse", zaključio je Nino koji može postati prvi hrvatski tenisač s naslovom u konkurenciji parova u Umagu.

Lovro Zovko je triput dogurao do finala, dvaput s Ivanom Ljubičićem (2000. i 2001.), jednom s Marinom Čilićem (2011.). Franko Škugor je 2014. bio finalist sa Srbinom Dušanom Lajovićem, a 2016. su na korak do trofeja ostali Nikola Mektić i Antonio Šančić. Posljednji su od Hrvata do finala dogurali Marin i Tomislav Draganja 2017.

Nino Serdarušić: Odigrali smo vrhunski meč, u finalu imamo šansu

Hrvatski Davis Cup reprezentativac Nino Serdarušić i Slovenac Blaž Rola igrat će za pobjednički trofej u konkurenciji parova na umaškom Plava Laguna Croatia Openu, nakon što su u petak u polufinalu svladali druge nositelje, Francuze Sadija Doumbiju i Fabiena Reboula sa 7-6 (5), 6-4.

Serdarušić je na umaškom turniru nastupio s petoricom različitih hrvatskih partnera na turniru parova, ali nijednom nije došao dalje od četvrtfinala. Ove godine se dogovorio za suradnju sa Slovencem i evo ga u finalu.

"Imamo podršku i slovenske publike. U Umagu sam obično dobro igrao parove, triput sam igrao u četvrtfinalu. Znao sam da je Blaž vrhunski igrač. Pokušavali smo se spojiti i prije na Challengerima, jer sam mislio da je jako dobra kombinacija, ali nikad nismo uspjeli. Evo, pokazuje se da sam bio u pravu. Jučer smo dobili dobar par, danas isto. Odigrali smo vrhunski meč, nije bilo prostora za greške", rekao je Serdarušić nakon što je po prvi put izborio finale na ATP Touru.  

Hrvatsko-slovenski par u finalu čekaju prvi nositelji, Talijani Simone Bolelli i Andrea Vavassori koji su sa 6-4, 7-6 (5) bili bolji od Nizozemaca Sandera Arendsa i Davida Pela.

"Mislim da će biti dosta publike na terenu. Idemo uživati. Dobro smo igrali, dobro serviramo cijelo vrijeme, tako da sigurno imamo šanse", zaključio je Nino koji može postati prvi hrvatski tenisač s naslovom u konkurenciji parova u Umagu.

Lovro Zovko je triput dogurao do finala, dvaput s Ivanom Ljubičićem (2000. i 2001.), jednom s Marinom Čilićem (2011.). Franko Škugor je 2014. bio finalist sa Srbinom Dušanom Lajovićem, a 2016. su na korak do trofeja ostali Nikola Mektić i Antonio Šančić. Posljednji su od Hrvata do finala dogurali Marin i Tomislav Draganja 2017.
