Kineska tenisačica Peng Shuai je u interviewu za francuske sportske novine "L'Equipe" ponovno zanijekala da je ikoga optužila za seksualni napad, dodajući da je sama izbrisala svoju objavu s takvim optužbama na društvenim mrežama u studenom.

Za 36-godišnju Peng je ono što se događalo nakon njezine objave na kineskoj društvenoj mreži Weibo početkom studenoga "veliki nesporazum". 

Bivša prva tenisačica svijeta u parovima objavila je 2. studenoga tekst u kojem optužuje bivšeg potpredsjednika kineske vlade Zhang Gaolija da ju je prisiljavao na spolni odnos tijekom višegodišnje veze. No objava je brzo nestala, a Peng se gotovo tri tjedna nije pojavljivala u javnosti.

Peng je sada u interviewu za francuski list "L'Equipe" zanijekala da je iznijela takve optužbe.

"Nikad nisam rekla da me je itko seksualno napao na bilo koji način", rekla je Peng, ne objašnjavajući detalje.

U njenoj izbrisanoj objavi na kineskoj verziji Twittera Weibou, Peng je napisala: "Zašto ste me odveli u svoju kuću i prisilili na odnos s vama?", ako je također opisala odnos sa Zhangom kao vezu koja se prekidala pa nastavljala i koja je bila sporazumna.

Dodala je da je sama obrisala objavu i tako demantirala tvrdnje da su objavu brzo povukli online cenzori u Kini. "To sam htjela", odgovorila je na pitanje novinara o razlozima brisanja objave. "Došlo je do velikog nesporazuma u vanjskom svijetu oko ove objave", dodala je.  Peng nije bila aktivna na Weibou od trenutka kada je objava izbrisana.

"Ne želim više medijske pompe oko toga", rekla je za "L'Equipe".

Zbog te njene objave WTA je suspendirao turnire u Kini.

Interview je vođen na kineskom jeziku. a odgovore je na engleski prevodio dužnosnik Kineskog olimpijskog odbora kao i prevodilac u Parizu, navodi "L'Equipe". Pitanja su dana unaprijed, a "L'Equipe" je pristao objaviti odgovore Peng bez komentara.

Peng, koja je za vrijeme interviewa bila odjevena u crvenu trenirku s natpisom Kina, kazala je kako nije bila svjesna zabrinutosti koju je za njeno stanje izražavala međunarodna zajednica kao ni toga da su neki tenisači, poput Serene Williams i Naomi Osake, koristili na društvenim mrežama hashtag #WhereIsPengShuai te da nije gledala strane medije niti je čitala išta na engleskom.

Osim toga, rekla je da se na marginama Olimpijskih igara u Pekingu sastala s predsjednikom Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora (MOO) Thomasom Bachom.

Kineska tenisačica Peng Shuai je u interviewu za francuske sportske novine "L'Equipe" ponovno zanijekala da je ikoga optužila za seksualni napad, dodajući da je sama izbrisala svoju objavu s takvim optužbama na društvenim mrežama u studenom.

Za 36-godišnju Peng je ono što se događalo nakon njezine objave na kineskoj društvenoj mreži Weibo početkom studenoga "veliki nesporazum". 

Bivša prva tenisačica svijeta u parovima objavila je 2. studenoga tekst u kojem optužuje bivšeg potpredsjednika kineske vlade Zhang Gaolija da ju je prisiljavao na spolni odnos tijekom višegodišnje veze. No objava je brzo nestala, a Peng se gotovo tri tjedna nije pojavljivala u javnosti.

Peng je sada u interviewu za francuski list "L'Equipe" zanijekala da je iznijela takve optužbe.

"Nikad nisam rekla da me je itko seksualno napao na bilo koji način", rekla je Peng, ne objašnjavajući detalje.

U njenoj izbrisanoj objavi na kineskoj verziji Twittera Weibou, Peng je napisala: "Zašto ste me odveli u svoju kuću i prisilili na odnos s vama?", ako je također opisala odnos sa Zhangom kao vezu koja se prekidala pa nastavljala i koja je bila sporazumna.

Dodala je da je sama obrisala objavu i tako demantirala tvrdnje da su objavu brzo povukli online cenzori u Kini. "To sam htjela", odgovorila je na pitanje novinara o razlozima brisanja objave. "Došlo je do velikog nesporazuma u vanjskom svijetu oko ove objave", dodala je.  Peng nije bila aktivna na Weibou od trenutka kada je objava izbrisana.

"Ne želim više medijske pompe oko toga", rekla je za "L'Equipe".

Zbog te njene objave WTA je suspendirao turnire u Kini.

Interview je vođen na kineskom jeziku. a odgovore je na engleski prevodio dužnosnik Kineskog olimpijskog odbora kao i prevodilac u Parizu, navodi "L'Equipe". Pitanja su dana unaprijed, a "L'Equipe" je pristao objaviti odgovore Peng bez komentara.

Peng, koja je za vrijeme interviewa bila odjevena u crvenu trenirku s natpisom Kina, kazala je kako nije bila svjesna zabrinutosti koju je za njeno stanje izražavala međunarodna zajednica kao ni toga da su neki tenisači, poput Serene Williams i Naomi Osake, koristili na društvenim mrežama hashtag #WhereIsPengShuai te da nije gledala strane medije niti je čitala išta na engleskom.

Osim toga, rekla je da se na marginama Olimpijskih igara u Pekingu sastala s predsjednikom Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora (MOO) Thomasom Bachom.

‘Ne želim više medijske pompe oko toga‘: kineska tenisačica zanijekala da je ikoga optužila za seksualni napad

Kineska tenisačica Peng Shuai je u interviewu za francuske sportske novine "L'Equipe" ponovno zanijekala da je ikoga optužila za seksualni napad, dodajući da je sama izbrisala svoju objavu s takvim optužbama na društvenim mrežama u studenom.

Za 36-godišnju Peng je ono što se događalo nakon njezine objave na kineskoj društvenoj mreži Weibo početkom studenoga "veliki nesporazum". 

Bivša prva tenisačica svijeta u parovima objavila je 2. studenoga tekst u kojem optužuje bivšeg potpredsjednika kineske vlade Zhang Gaolija da ju je prisiljavao na spolni odnos tijekom višegodišnje veze. No objava je brzo nestala, a Peng se gotovo tri tjedna nije pojavljivala u javnosti.

Peng je sada u interviewu za francuski list "L'Equipe" zanijekala da je iznijela takve optužbe.
