Izbornik U21 reprezentacije Dragan Skočić među 22 igrača pozvana za utakmice kvalifikacije za EP protiv Grčke (13. listopada, Tripoli) i Bjelorusije (17. listopada, Velika Gorica) pozvao je i nogometaša Dinama Maura Perkovića (20). Taj Skočićev izbor izazvao je odmah dosta polemika zbog toga što je Perković u nemilosti u Maksimiru i ove sezone gotovo da ne igra. Nije odigrao niti jednu minutu u SuperSport HNL-u i europskim susretima. Tek je igrao u kup susretu protiv niželigaša Ponikvi.
Nismo ulazili u nekakvu dublju analizu cijelog Skočićeva popisa, ali već i onako na prvu otvaraju se brojna pitanja. Ponekad izbornici mlađe reprezentacije pozovu neke kandidate na osnovu talenta, unatoč manjoj minutaži u klubu, ali Perković je u Maksimiru trenutno u debeloj sjeni i ovaj primjer spada u tom slučaju u ekstremnije. Neovisno, što se slažemo da je kvalitetom i talentom Perkoviću sigurno mjesto u mladoj selekciji. Riječ je o dobrom igraču, ali totalno je ipak trenutno izvan pravog natjecateljskog ritma, neovisno o razlozima zašto je u Maksimiru bio u nemilosti ove sezone. Prvo je bio u drugom planu pod trenerom Igorom Bišćanom, potom i pod njegovim nasljednikom Sergejem Jakirovićem.

Vjerojatno ga želi Skočić vratiti kroz utakmice. Ujedno, tu na stoperskim pozicijama izbornik i nema previše solucija, što zbog igrača koji su u seniorskoj reprezentaciji, što zbog drugih izostanaka. Inače, Perković je u zadnje vrijeme standardan član U21 reprezentacije. Igra na stoperu, ne na poziciji lijevog beka gdje je uglavnom u Dinamu igrao, kada je uopće igrao. Podsjetimo, za Perkovića je Dinamo zimus Istri 1961 platio čak dva milijuna eura odštete.
S druge strane nije u mladu reprezentaciju pozvan Hajdukov veznjak na posudbi u Širokom Brijegu Marko Capan (19). Koliko je poznato nije Capan ozlijeđen, a izuzev susreta koji je morao preskočiti zbog bizarno zarađenog trećeg žutog kartona koji je dobio nakon susreta kada je skinuo dres kako bi ga darovao skupljaču lopti, odigrao je sve susrete hit momčadi BiH Premijer lige.
Igra vrlo dobro, upisao je i dvije asistencije. No, mora se priznati i konkurencija u veznom redu U21 selekcije Hrvatske je iznimno jaka. Pozvani su između ostalih i Luka Sučić (RB Salzburg), Martin Baturina (Dinamo), Veldin Hodža (Rijeka)...

Izbornik U21 reprezentacije Dragan Skočić među 22 igrača pozvana za utakmice kvalifikacije za EP protiv Grčke (13. listopada, Tripoli) i Bjelorusije (17. listopada, Velika Gorica) pozvao je i nogometaša Dinama Maura Perkovića (20). Taj Skočićev izbor izazvao je odmah dosta polemika zbog toga što je Perković u nemilosti u Maksimiru i ove sezone gotovo da ne igra. Nije odigrao niti jednu minutu u SuperSport HNL-u i europskim susretima. Tek je igrao u kup susretu protiv niželigaša Ponikvi.
Nismo ulazili u nekakvu dublju analizu cijelog Skočićeva popisa, ali već i onako na prvu otvaraju se brojna pitanja. Ponekad izbornici mlađe reprezentacije pozovu neke kandidate na osnovu talenta, unatoč manjoj minutaži u klubu, ali Perković je u Maksimiru trenutno u debeloj sjeni i ovaj primjer spada u tom slučaju u ekstremnije. Neovisno, što se slažemo da je kvalitetom i talentom Perkoviću sigurno mjesto u mladoj selekciji. Riječ je o dobrom igraču, ali totalno je ipak trenutno izvan pravog natjecateljskog ritma, neovisno o razlozima zašto je u Maksimiru bio u nemilosti ove sezone. Prvo je bio u drugom planu pod trenerom Igorom Bišćanom, potom i pod njegovim nasljednikom Sergejem Jakirovićem.

Vjerojatno ga želi Skočić vratiti kroz utakmice. Ujedno, tu na stoperskim pozicijama izbornik i nema previše solucija, što zbog igrača koji su u seniorskoj reprezentaciji, što zbog drugih izostanaka. Inače, Perković je u zadnje vrijeme standardan član U21 reprezentacije. Igra na stoperu, ne na poziciji lijevog beka gdje je uglavnom u Dinamu igrao, kada je uopće igrao. Podsjetimo, za Perkovića je Dinamo zimus Istri 1961 platio čak dva milijuna eura odštete.
S druge strane nije u mladu reprezentaciju pozvan Hajdukov veznjak na posudbi u Širokom Brijegu Marko Capan (19). Koliko je poznato nije Capan ozlijeđen, a izuzev susreta koji je morao preskočiti zbog bizarno zarađenog trećeg žutog kartona koji je dobio nakon susreta kada je skinuo dres kako bi ga darovao skupljaču lopti, odigrao je sve susrete hit momčadi BiH Premijer lige.
Igra vrlo dobro, upisao je i dvije asistencije. No, mora se priznati i konkurencija u veznom redu U21 selekcije Hrvatske je iznimno jaka. Pozvani su između ostalih i Luka Sučić (RB Salzburg), Martin Baturina (Dinamo), Veldin Hodža (Rijeka)...
