Sjajna vijest stiže iz Klinike za očne bolesti Kliničkog bolničkog centra Split, gdje je u subotu, prvi put u ovoj bolnici, obavljen operacijski zahvat transplantacije rožnice.

Dvosatni zahvat obavljen je nad 68-godišnjom pacijenticom, u sklopu programa darivanja (eksplantacije) i pokretanja programa transplantacije rožnice i očnih tkiva, a ubuduće pacijenti neće trebati ići u Zagreb radi ovog zahvata.

Ravnatelj KBC-a Split prof. prim. dr. sc. Julije Meštrović nije krio zadovoljstvo obavljenim zahvatom.

– Time pokazujemo kako nastavljamo sa svim svojim projektima. Uz skrb o pacijentima oboljelima od koronavirusa, nijedan naš projekt nismo zapustili. Tek su možda neki usporeni, ali sve ih na koncu realiziramo. Medicina napreduje, radimo najbolje što možemo, a transplantacijski program nam je jedan od najvažnijih. Osim ove operacije, tu je cijeli transplantacijski i eksplantacijski program. U siječnju očekujemo transplantaciju matičnih stanica uz ostale projekte – kazao je ravnatelj čestitajući cijelom timu koji je vodio zahvat, na čelu s prof. dr. Kajom Bučanom, predstojnikom Klinike za očne bolesti.

Očna banka

Potonji je naglasio kako je ovom zahvatu prethodio dugi niz temeljitih priprema i edukacija.

– Pacijentica se dobro osjeća nakon zahvata. Ona je bila slijepa na oba oka zbog infekcijskog keratitisa, herpetične upale rožnice, razlikovala je samo svjetlo od tame. Danas smo proveli proceduru transplantacije rožnice i istodobno na tako otvorenom oku napravili jednu posebnu vrstu operacije komplicirane sive mrene, ugradili leću i stavili transplantator jednog donora. Rožnicu smo dobili iz jedine kvalificirane ustanove u Republici Hrvatskoj, a to je Očna banka koja djeluje pri KBC-u Zagreb. Imali smo izvrsnu suradnju s Očnom bankom, Ministarstvom zdravstva, a hvala i ministru zdravstva Viliju Berošu, koji nam je dao suglasnost za projekt – kazao je dr. Bučan, pozvavši sve potencijalne donore na darivanje tkiva i organa kao iskaz ljubavi i veliku gestu koja nekom znači zdravlje i život.

Prenio je zahvalu pacijentice i njezina sina, koji zahvaljuju obitelji donatora i svima koji su im omogućili da do ovoga čina dođe. Također, iznimne zahvale uputio je ravnatelju bolnice koji je s velikim entuzijazmom gurao ovaj projekt, a posebice cijelom timu, medicinskim sestrama instrumentarkama i kolegama liječnicima koji su timski radili, kao i svim svojim prethodnicima koji su u ovo utkali dio svog života.

– Ovim zahvatom uspostavljen je eksplantacijski program, ali na potpuno drugoj razini jer je prije bilo samo uzimanje tkiva u sklopu multieksplantacije više organa. Sada je pokrenut program izuzimanja tkiva od umrlih osoba. Za rožnicu se to može. Svaka ta rožnica ide na posebnu obradu u Očnu banku, na procjenu kvalitete, i prema potrebi se zatraži kad imamo takvog pacijenta. Godine 2018. u Hrvatskoj su obavljene 332 transplantacije rožnice, a mnogi naši pacijenti su išli u Zagreb na zahvat, njih vjerojatno šezdesetak. Ubuduće će taj zahvat moći obaviti u Splitu – kazao je dr. Bučan.

Na koncu je zahvalio i Klinici za očne bolesti Bolnice "Sestre milosrdnice" u Vinogradskoj na omogućenoj edukaciji i docentici Ivanki Petric Vicković.

Sjajna vijest stiže iz Klinike za očne bolesti Kliničkog bolničkog centra Split, gdje je u subotu, prvi put u ovoj bolnici, obavljen operacijski zahvat transplantacije rožnice.

Dvosatni zahvat obavljen je nad 68-godišnjom pacijenticom, u sklopu programa darivanja (eksplantacije) i pokretanja programa transplantacije rožnice i očnih tkiva, a ubuduće pacijenti neće trebati ići u Zagreb radi ovog zahvata.

Ravnatelj KBC-a Split prof. prim. dr. sc. Julije Meštrović nije krio zadovoljstvo obavljenim zahvatom.

– Time pokazujemo kako nastavljamo sa svim svojim projektima. Uz skrb o pacijentima oboljelima od koronavirusa, nijedan naš projekt nismo zapustili. Tek su možda neki usporeni, ali sve ih na koncu realiziramo. Medicina napreduje, radimo najbolje što možemo, a transplantacijski program nam je jedan od najvažnijih. Osim ove operacije, tu je cijeli transplantacijski i eksplantacijski program. U siječnju očekujemo transplantaciju matičnih stanica uz ostale projekte – kazao je ravnatelj čestitajući cijelom timu koji je vodio zahvat, na čelu s prof. dr. Kajom Bučanom, predstojnikom Klinike za očne bolesti.

Očna banka

Potonji je naglasio kako je ovom zahvatu prethodio dugi niz temeljitih priprema i edukacija.

– Pacijentica se dobro osjeća nakon zahvata. Ona je bila slijepa na oba oka zbog infekcijskog keratitisa, herpetične upale rožnice, razlikovala je samo svjetlo od tame. Danas smo proveli proceduru transplantacije rožnice i istodobno na tako otvorenom oku napravili jednu posebnu vrstu operacije komplicirane sive mrene, ugradili leću i stavili transplantator jednog donora. Rožnicu smo dobili iz jedine kvalificirane ustanove u Republici Hrvatskoj, a to je Očna banka koja djeluje pri KBC-u Zagreb. Imali smo izvrsnu suradnju s Očnom bankom, Ministarstvom zdravstva, a hvala i ministru zdravstva Viliju Berošu, koji nam je dao suglasnost za projekt – kazao je dr. Bučan, pozvavši sve potencijalne donore na darivanje tkiva i organa kao iskaz ljubavi i veliku gestu koja nekom znači zdravlje i život.

Prenio je zahvalu pacijentice i njezina sina, koji zahvaljuju obitelji donatora i svima koji su im omogućili da do ovoga čina dođe. Također, iznimne zahvale uputio je ravnatelju bolnice koji je s velikim entuzijazmom gurao ovaj projekt, a posebice cijelom timu, medicinskim sestrama instrumentarkama i kolegama liječnicima koji su timski radili, kao i svim svojim prethodnicima koji su u ovo utkali dio svog života.

– Ovim zahvatom uspostavljen je eksplantacijski program, ali na potpuno drugoj razini jer je prije bilo samo uzimanje tkiva u sklopu multieksplantacije više organa. Sada je pokrenut program izuzimanja tkiva od umrlih osoba. Za rožnicu se to može. Svaka ta rožnica ide na posebnu obradu u Očnu banku, na procjenu kvalitete, i prema potrebi se zatraži kad imamo takvog pacijenta. Godine 2018. u Hrvatskoj su obavljene 332 transplantacije rožnice, a mnogi naši pacijenti su išli u Zagreb na zahvat, njih vjerojatno šezdesetak. Ubuduće će taj zahvat moći obaviti u Splitu – kazao je dr. Bučan.

Na koncu je zahvalio i Klinici za očne bolesti Bolnice "Sestre milosrdnice" u Vinogradskoj na omogućenoj edukaciji i docentici Ivanki Petric Vicković.
