Grad Split je u proljeće započeo s uređenjem i adaptacijom Stare gradske vijećnice. Dio je to gradskog projekta "Palača života-Grad mijena" financiranog iz EU fondova, a sama obnova Vijećnice vrijedna je 9 milijuna i 600 tisuća kuna.

Splićani su pozdravili obnovu ovog zaštićenog spomenika kulture, no par mjeseci kasnije uslijedio je hladan tuš. S vrha Vijećnice provirilo je čudnovato nadgrađe navodeći građane da se zapitaju devastira li to Grad vlastito kulturno dobro. Kako je tada doznala Slobodna Dalmacija radi se o prostoriji površine 16,24 kvadrata. I prije je postojala, izgrađena je početkom 20. stoljeća, no krov koji je donekle skrivao njezinu neuglednu vanjštinu, sada je poravnat.

Danas, kad su radovi obnove blizu kraju, nadgrađe na vrhu još više iskače. Bijela fasada na vrhu stare kamene zgrade prava je šaka u oko Splićanima koji se pitaju što je sljedeće, hoće li i katedrala dobiti rolete, a Vestibul penthaus.

Kao što je još prije početka gradnje priopćeno iz Banovine, svi radovi odvijaju se uz suglasnost i pod budnim okom Konzervatorskog odjela u Splitu. Šef splitskih konzervatora Radoslav Bužančić kaže da su razmišljali o uklanjanju nadogradnje, no ipak su je odlučili zadržati.

- Vijećnica je više puta pregrađena u svojoj povijesti od vremena gradnje u 15.stoljeću. U 19. stoljeću je to područje radikalno porušeno, ostavljena je Vijećnica, ali već je tada doživjela velike preinake. Srušen je cijeli zapadni dio, pa je morala dobiti novo zapadno pročelje. 1922. godine Kamilo Tončić je prilikom uređenja Etnografskog muzeja napravio veliku pregradnju i za potrebe Muzeja napravio to nadgrađe.

U obnovi smo se mislili hoćemo li intervenirati na tom dijelu, ali pošto je i pri novom preuređenju za galeriju čitava unutarašnjost objedinjena, ugradnjom lifta za osobe s invaliditetom su pomoćni prostori nestali, arhitektica je predložila da taj prostor ostane i da se tu smjeste stvari potrebne za upravljanje prostorom, poput sustava za klimatizaciju i slično. Prihvatili smo to rješenje - kaže Bužančić. Ne vidi u tome ništa sporno, a kaže, "nadgrađe je prvi napravio veliki arhitekt Kamilo Tončić" i "sve je to dio procesa razvoja i modernizacije Pjace koji traje stotinama godina".

Nadgrađe ranije nije bilo vidljivo s Pjace, a sada se itekako ističe svojom bjelinom, no Bužančić kaže da gabariti nisu izmjenjeni.

- Prostor nije proširen, gabaritima je isti, ali krov je poravnat da mogu stati klima komore i sve što je potrebno, promijenila se jedino kosina krova. Kamilo Tončić je taj prostor pokrio horizontalno crijepom, a mi ćemo još razmisliti o tome, to smo ostavili za zadnje. Ne znam koliko ima smisla to pokrivati ili skrivati nekakvom mimikrijom, ali bojom ćemo ujednačiti s pročeljem - kaže.

I s pravne strane je sve uredno, projekt i dozvole predviđaju obnovu na način na koji se događa, pa je izgledno da će unatoč negodovanju građana i upitnoj svrsi "studio apartman" na vrhu Vijećnice ostati na svom mjestu.

U sklopu projekta "Palača života" slijedi uređenje dijela Muzeja grada Splita, Jugoistočne kule te uspostavljanje šetnice na južnim zidinama Palače. Građani će, vjerujemo, poučeni dosadašnjim iskustvom, budno pratiti svaki korak procesa.

Grad Split je u proljeće započeo s uređenjem i adaptacijom Stare gradske vijećnice. Dio je to gradskog projekta "Palača života-Grad mijena" financiranog iz EU fondova, a sama obnova Vijećnice vrijedna je 9 milijuna i 600 tisuća kuna.

Splićani su pozdravili obnovu ovog zaštićenog spomenika kulture, no par mjeseci kasnije uslijedio je hladan tuš. S vrha Vijećnice provirilo je čudnovato nadgrađe navodeći građane da se zapitaju devastira li to Grad vlastito kulturno dobro. Kako je tada doznala Slobodna Dalmacija radi se o prostoriji površine 16,24 kvadrata. I prije je postojala, izgrađena je početkom 20. stoljeća, no krov koji je donekle skrivao njezinu neuglednu vanjštinu, sada je poravnat.

Danas, kad su radovi obnove blizu kraju, nadgrađe na vrhu još više iskače. Bijela fasada na vrhu stare kamene zgrade prava je šaka u oko Splićanima koji se pitaju što je sljedeće, hoće li i katedrala dobiti rolete, a Vestibul penthaus.

Kao što je još prije početka gradnje priopćeno iz Banovine, svi radovi odvijaju se uz suglasnost i pod budnim okom Konzervatorskog odjela u Splitu. Šef splitskih konzervatora Radoslav Bužančić kaže da su razmišljali o uklanjanju nadogradnje, no ipak su je odlučili zadržati.

- Vijećnica je više puta pregrađena u svojoj povijesti od vremena gradnje u 15.stoljeću. U 19. stoljeću je to područje radikalno porušeno, ostavljena je Vijećnica, ali već je tada doživjela velike preinake. Srušen je cijeli zapadni dio, pa je morala dobiti novo zapadno pročelje. 1922. godine Kamilo Tončić je prilikom uređenja Etnografskog muzeja napravio veliku pregradnju i za potrebe Muzeja napravio to nadgrađe.

U obnovi smo se mislili hoćemo li intervenirati na tom dijelu, ali pošto je i pri novom preuređenju za galeriju čitava unutarašnjost objedinjena, ugradnjom lifta za osobe s invaliditetom su pomoćni prostori nestali, arhitektica je predložila da taj prostor ostane i da se tu smjeste stvari potrebne za upravljanje prostorom, poput sustava za klimatizaciju i slično. Prihvatili smo to rješenje - kaže Bužančić. Ne vidi u tome ništa sporno, a kaže, "nadgrađe je prvi napravio veliki arhitekt Kamilo Tončić" i "sve je to dio procesa razvoja i modernizacije Pjace koji traje stotinama godina".

Nadgrađe ranije nije bilo vidljivo s Pjace, a sada se itekako ističe svojom bjelinom, no Bužančić kaže da gabariti nisu izmjenjeni.

- Prostor nije proširen, gabaritima je isti, ali krov je poravnat da mogu stati klima komore i sve što je potrebno, promijenila se jedino kosina krova. Kamilo Tončić je taj prostor pokrio horizontalno crijepom, a mi ćemo još razmisliti o tome, to smo ostavili za zadnje. Ne znam koliko ima smisla to pokrivati ili skrivati nekakvom mimikrijom, ali bojom ćemo ujednačiti s pročeljem - kaže.

I s pravne strane je sve uredno, projekt i dozvole predviđaju obnovu na način na koji se događa, pa je izgledno da će unatoč negodovanju građana i upitnoj svrsi "studio apartman" na vrhu Vijećnice ostati na svom mjestu.

U sklopu projekta "Palača života" slijedi uređenje dijela Muzeja grada Splita, Jugoistočne kule te uspostavljanje šetnice na južnim zidinama Palače. Građani će, vjerujemo, poučeni dosadašnjim iskustvom, budno pratiti svaki korak procesa.
