Svako malo neki potres! Što se događa, hoće li zdrmati neki jači i izazvati katastrofu, pitanja su koja nakon zagrebačkog i petrinjskog udara muče građane, a ovih dana najčešće i diljem Dalmacije. I jutros je neke probudilo drmanje iz epicentra kod jezera Peruća.

- Mislim da se ne događa ništa neuobičajeno – smiruje prof. emeritus Ante Mihanović sa splitskog Građevinskog fakulteta. Po njemu, ključno je što građani danas imaju informaciju o svakoj, pa i najmanjoj, trešnji tla s obzirom da imamo sve preciznije instrumente. Ali seizmička aktivnost je stalna. Mihanović nam govori kako se u Europi svakodnevno bilježi i po dvije stotine potresa.

- Na našem području, od Dubrovnika do Knina, mogli bismo eventualno svakih deset do petnaest godina očekivati jači potres, ali jačina se mjeri sukladno dubini pa tako i onaj magnitute 4,5 ne mora biti jak čak i da je plići – pojašnjava dr. Mihanović.

Dodaje da su potresi u Jadranu stalni, ali kada su udaljeni 20 kilometara od otoka ili kopna neće biti nikakvih oštećenja, a niti ljudskih žrtava.

- Na sreću, ljudskih žrtava je u pravilu malo, a štete se mogu nadoknaditi. Ružno je reći, ali tjedno imamo više poginulih u prometu nego u potresima za pet stotina godina. Stoga, ljudi ne trebaju toliko strepiti zbog gibanja tla, ali shvaćam da je danas uslijed svega što se događa kod ljudi prisutan nemir. No, po svemu što do sada znamo o potresima, ljudi mogu biti mirni – poručuju dr. Mihanović.

Na našu primjedbu da su ljudi uznemireni i zato što se u Sisačko-moslovačkoj županiji dogodio jači nakon slabijeg potresa što otvara takvu mogućnost i drugdje, naš sugovornik ističe da je ona ipak svedena na deset posto.

- Učestalost jačeg pa slabijeg potresa je izrazito mala – dodaje. Inače, sva podrhtavanja tla su, kaže, posljedica dodirivanja euroazijske i afričke ploče koja su u Mediteranu i vjerojatno su i ova posljednja koja se osjećaju od Jadrana do Beča povezana s njihovim pomicanjem.

Svako malo neki potres! Što se događa, hoće li zdrmati neki jači i izazvati katastrofu, pitanja su koja nakon zagrebačkog i petrinjskog udara muče građane, a ovih dana najčešće i diljem Dalmacije. I jutros je neke probudilo drmanje iz epicentra kod jezera Peruća.

- Mislim da se ne događa ništa neuobičajeno – smiruje prof. emeritus Ante Mihanović sa splitskog Građevinskog fakulteta. Po njemu, ključno je što građani danas imaju informaciju o svakoj, pa i najmanjoj, trešnji tla s obzirom da imamo sve preciznije instrumente. Ali seizmička aktivnost je stalna. Mihanović nam govori kako se u Europi svakodnevno bilježi i po dvije stotine potresa.

- Na našem području, od Dubrovnika do Knina, mogli bismo eventualno svakih deset do petnaest godina očekivati jači potres, ali jačina se mjeri sukladno dubini pa tako i onaj magnitute 4,5 ne mora biti jak čak i da je plići – pojašnjava dr. Mihanović.

Dodaje da su potresi u Jadranu stalni, ali kada su udaljeni 20 kilometara od otoka ili kopna neće biti nikakvih oštećenja, a niti ljudskih žrtava.

- Na sreću, ljudskih žrtava je u pravilu malo, a štete se mogu nadoknaditi. Ružno je reći, ali tjedno imamo više poginulih u prometu nego u potresima za pet stotina godina. Stoga, ljudi ne trebaju toliko strepiti zbog gibanja tla, ali shvaćam da je danas uslijed svega što se događa kod ljudi prisutan nemir. No, po svemu što do sada znamo o potresima, ljudi mogu biti mirni – poručuju dr. Mihanović.

Na našu primjedbu da su ljudi uznemireni i zato što se u Sisačko-moslovačkoj županiji dogodio jači nakon slabijeg potresa što otvara takvu mogućnost i drugdje, naš sugovornik ističe da je ona ipak svedena na deset posto.

- Učestalost jačeg pa slabijeg potresa je izrazito mala – dodaje. Inače, sva podrhtavanja tla su, kaže, posljedica dodirivanja euroazijske i afričke ploče koja su u Mediteranu i vjerojatno su i ova posljednja koja se osjećaju od Jadrana do Beča povezana s njihovim pomicanjem.

Svako malo neki potres! Što se događa, hoće li zdrmati neki jači i izazvati katastrofu, pitanja su koja nakon zagrebačkog i petrinjskog udara muče građane, a ovih dana najčešće i diljem Dalmacije. I jutros je neke probudilo drmanje iz epicentra kod jezera Peruća.

- Mislim da se ne događa ništa neuobičajeno – smiruje prof. emeritus Ante Mihanović sa splitskog Građevinskog fakulteta. Po njemu, ključno je što građani danas imaju informaciju o svakoj, pa i najmanjoj, trešnji tla s obzirom da imamo sve preciznije instrumente. Ali seizmička aktivnost je stalna. Mihanović nam govori kako se u Europi svakodnevno bilježi i po dvije stotine potresa.

- Na našem području, od Dubrovnika do Knina, mogli bismo eventualno svakih deset do petnaest godina očekivati jači potres, ali jačina se mjeri sukladno dubini pa tako i onaj magnitute 4,5 ne mora biti jak čak i da je plići – pojašnjava dr. Mihanović.

Dodaje da su potresi u Jadranu stalni, ali kada su udaljeni 20 kilometara od otoka ili kopna neće biti nikakvih oštećenja, a niti ljudskih žrtava.

- Na sreću, ljudskih žrtava je u pravilu malo, a štete se mogu nadoknaditi. Ružno je reći, ali tjedno imamo više poginulih u prometu nego u potresima za pet stotina godina. Stoga, ljudi ne trebaju toliko strepiti zbog gibanja tla, ali shvaćam da je danas uslijed svega što se događa kod ljudi prisutan nemir. No, po svemu što do sada znamo o potresima, ljudi mogu biti mirni – poručuju dr. Mihanović.
