U ambulanti Doma zdravlja u Šibeniku počela su prva cijepljenja AstraZenecovim cjepivom. Desetero pacijenata iz Murtera tako je zavrnulo rukave i među prvima u Hrvatskoj primilo dozu novog cjepiva oko kojeg se posljednjih dana vode žustre polemike.

Na cijepljenje u Šibenik danas je došlo 20 ljudi s Murtera. Riječ je o osobama starijim od 65 godina i kroničnim bolesnicima.

U Zavod za javno zdravstvo Šibensko-kninske županije jučer je stiglo 400 doza AstraZenecina cjepiva te 200 doza Modernima cjepiva koje su raspoređene domovima zdravlja. 

 "Iako je Europska agencija za lijekove (EMA), baš kao i hrvatska, odobrila AstraZenecino cjepivo za sve dobne skupine, neke europske zemlje nisu dale odobrenje da se koristi za starije od 65 godina, zbog čega se stvorio dojam da je to cjepivo lošije i nesigurnije od Pfizerovog i Moderninog. No, cijeli problem je u tome što je u kliničkim ispitivanjima bilo premalo starijih od 65 godina da bi rezultati bili jasni te to ne znači da ono nije učinkovito kod starijih", rekla je voditeljica Epidemiološke službe županijskoga Zavoda za javno zdravstvo Ankica Parat Baljkas.

"Nema nikakvog spora oko toga da cjepivo nije kvalitetno, međutim, dodatna sigurnost je kada je cjepivo testirano na što većem broju ispitanika starijih od 65 godina, što se do sada nije stiglo. Bio je mali uzorak te dobne skupine, ali nisu primijećene razlike u efikasnosti cjepiva. Cjepivo AstraZenece štiti 60 do 70 posto od obolijevanja, ali u 100 posto slučajeva štiti od teških oblika bolesti i smrtnosti, kao i sva ostala cjepiva. Dakle, sva tri cjepiva su kvalitetna, a mi sada idemo za tim da se što prije procijepi što veći broj ljudi", istaknula je Parat Baljkas. 

Među prvima se AstraZenecinim cjepivom cijepio Kristijan Juraga iz Murtera, inače plućni bolesnik.

"Mogao sam birati i izabrao sam AstraZenecu. Cijeli život sam po bolnicama i ne bojim se više ničega, ni cijepljenja, ni ničega. Imam povjerenja u cjepivo i zdravstvo. Ima nas u kući još koji ćemo se cijepiti i svima bih poručio da se cijepe da se što prije vratimo u normalu jer ovo nije život ", rekao je Juraga. 

Na pitanje kolika bi procijepljenost u Šibensko-kninskoj županiji mogla biti do ljeta, vodeća županijska epidemiologija Parat Baljkas je odgovorila da je to teško prognozirati.

U ambulanti Doma zdravlja u Šibeniku počela su prva cijepljenja AstraZenecovim cjepivom. Desetero pacijenata iz Murtera tako je zavrnulo rukave i među prvima u Hrvatskoj primilo dozu novog cjepiva oko kojeg se posljednjih dana vode žustre polemike.

Na cijepljenje u Šibenik danas je došlo 20 ljudi s Murtera. Riječ je o osobama starijim od 65 godina i kroničnim bolesnicima.

U Zavod za javno zdravstvo Šibensko-kninske županije jučer je stiglo 400 doza AstraZenecina cjepiva te 200 doza Modernima cjepiva koje su raspoređene domovima zdravlja. 

 "Iako je Europska agencija za lijekove (EMA), baš kao i hrvatska, odobrila AstraZenecino cjepivo za sve dobne skupine, neke europske zemlje nisu dale odobrenje da se koristi za starije od 65 godina, zbog čega se stvorio dojam da je to cjepivo lošije i nesigurnije od Pfizerovog i Moderninog. No, cijeli problem je u tome što je u kliničkim ispitivanjima bilo premalo starijih od 65 godina da bi rezultati bili jasni te to ne znači da ono nije učinkovito kod starijih", rekla je voditeljica Epidemiološke službe županijskoga Zavoda za javno zdravstvo Ankica Parat Baljkas.

"Nema nikakvog spora oko toga da cjepivo nije kvalitetno, međutim, dodatna sigurnost je kada je cjepivo testirano na što većem broju ispitanika starijih od 65 godina, što se do sada nije stiglo. Bio je mali uzorak te dobne skupine, ali nisu primijećene razlike u efikasnosti cjepiva. Cjepivo AstraZenece štiti 60 do 70 posto od obolijevanja, ali u 100 posto slučajeva štiti od teških oblika bolesti i smrtnosti, kao i sva ostala cjepiva. Dakle, sva tri cjepiva su kvalitetna, a mi sada idemo za tim da se što prije procijepi što veći broj ljudi", istaknula je Parat Baljkas. 

Među prvima se AstraZenecinim cjepivom cijepio Kristijan Juraga iz Murtera, inače plućni bolesnik.

"Mogao sam birati i izabrao sam AstraZenecu. Cijeli život sam po bolnicama i ne bojim se više ničega, ni cijepljenja, ni ničega. Imam povjerenja u cjepivo i zdravstvo. Ima nas u kući još koji ćemo se cijepiti i svima bih poručio da se cijepe da se što prije vratimo u normalu jer ovo nije život ", rekao je Juraga. 

Na pitanje kolika bi procijepljenost u Šibensko-kninskoj županiji mogla biti do ljeta, vodeća županijska epidemiologija Parat Baljkas je odgovorila da je to teško prognozirati.
