Šibenik se ovih dana suočio s dramatičnim podatkom koji dovodi u pitanje budućnost grada promoviranog u medijsku zvijezdu zbog uspješnog povlačenja "europskog novca" i najave velikih ulaganja koja bi navodno trebala potpuno promijeniti vizure i perspektive grada.

Iz Šibenske bolnice bolno je odjeknula vijest da je lani rođeno ukupno 558 djece ili za 93 manje nego 2022. kad je evidentirano 651 novorođenče. Zabilježen je pad od 15 posto! Taj podatak iznimno loše sjeda na još jedan negativan trend. U zadnjem popisu stanovništva pokazalo se da je Šibenik od 2011. do 2021. izgubio 3733 građana, pa je pao sa 46.332 na 42.599 stanovnika. Brojke su to poraznije jer otkrivaju i kako se radi o odljevu najpotentnije populacije, mladih, mahom obrazovanih ljudi u punoj snazi i radnom kapacitetu, te da grad postaje sve stariji.

Globalni trend...

Trend je globalan, ali malo gdje je tako dramatičan kao u gradu velikih razvojnih i prirodnih potencijala. Što je uzrok tome? Što se to događa ispod promotivne "pozlate" koja sugerira kako je Šibenik "obećani grad"? Klizi li ovaj stari povijesni grad ka svom odumiranju? Može li se pretvoriti u sezonalnu destinaciju, resort za bogate umirovljenike iz hladnih zemalja sjevera Europe koji će dolaziti prezimiti u svojim, u međuvremenu kupljenim, nekretninama koje će ljeti iznajmljivati?

Šibenik se ovih dana suočio s dramatičnim podatkom koji dovodi u pitanje budućnost grada promoviranog u medijsku zvijezdu zbog uspješnog povlačenja "europskog novca" i najave velikih ulaganja koja bi navodno trebala potpuno promijeniti vizure i perspektive grada.

Iz Šibenske bolnice bolno je odjeknula vijest da je lani rođeno ukupno 558 djece ili za 93 manje nego 2022. kad je evidentirano 651 novorođenče. Zabilježen je pad od 15 posto! Taj podatak iznimno loše sjeda na još jedan negativan trend. U zadnjem popisu stanovništva pokazalo se da je Šibenik od 2011. do 2021. izgubio 3733 građana, pa je pao sa 46.332 na 42.599 stanovnika. Brojke su to poraznije jer otkrivaju i kako se radi o odljevu najpotentnije populacije, mladih, mahom obrazovanih ljudi u punoj snazi i radnom kapacitetu, te da grad postaje sve stariji.

Globalni trend...

Trend je globalan, ali malo gdje je tako dramatičan kao u gradu velikih razvojnih i prirodnih potencijala. Što je uzrok tome? Što se to događa ispod promotivne "pozlate" koja sugerira kako je Šibenik "obećani grad"? Klizi li ovaj stari povijesni grad ka svom odumiranju? Može li se pretvoriti u sezonalnu destinaciju, resort za bogate umirovljenike iz hladnih zemalja sjevera Europe koji će dolaziti prezimiti u svojim, u međuvremenu kupljenim, nekretninama koje će ljeti iznajmljivati?

Šokantni podaci: u Šibeniku lani rođeno 93 djece manje nego prethodne godine. Za koga se onda pokreću megaprojekti?!

Šibenik se ovih dana suočio s dramatičnim podatkom koji dovodi u pitanje budućnost grada promoviranog u medijsku zvijezdu zbog uspješnog povlačenja "europskog novca" i najave velikih ulaganja koja bi navodno trebala potpuno promijeniti vizure i perspektive grada.

Iz Šibenske bolnice bolno je odjeknula vijest da je lani rođeno ukupno 558 djece ili za 93 manje nego 2022. kad je evidentirano 651 novorođenče. Zabilježen je pad od 15 posto! Taj podatak iznimno loše sjeda na još jedan negativan trend. U zadnjem popisu stanovništva pokazalo se da je Šibenik od 2011. do 2021. izgubio 3733 građana, pa je pao sa 46.332 na 42.599 stanovnika. Brojke su to poraznije jer otkrivaju i kako se radi o odljevu najpotentnije populacije, mladih, mahom obrazovanih ljudi u punoj snazi i radnom kapacitetu, te da grad postaje sve stariji.

Globalni trend...

Trend je globalan, ali malo gdje je tako dramatičan kao u gradu velikih razvojnih i prirodnih potencijala. Što je uzrok tome? Što se to događa ispod promotivne "pozlate" koja sugerira kako je Šibenik "obećani grad"? Klizi li ovaj stari povijesni grad ka svom odumiranju? Može li se pretvoriti u sezonalnu destinaciju, resort za bogate umirovljenike iz hladnih zemalja sjevera Europe koji će dolaziti prezimiti u svojim, u međuvremenu kupljenim, nekretninama koje će ljeti iznajmljivati?
