Zdravstveni čelnici pozvali su ljude na cijepljenje zbog porasta slučajeva ospica jer, kako navode, važno je da su ljudi u potpunosti zaštićeni.

Agencija za zdravstvenu sigurnost Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva priopćila je da je između 1. siječnja i 30. rujna u Engleskoj bilo 149 laboratorijski potvrđenih slučajeva ospica, dok su u cijeloj 2022. bila samo 54 slučaja, piše BBC, a prenosi N1.

Jack Lewis, konzultant za javno zdravstvo pri Humber and North Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership, rekao je: “Ospice su više od običnog osipa. Vrlo su zarazne i vidimo da su slučajevi u porastu.”

Rekao je da ne postoji “tretman ili lijek” za ospice, ali MMR cjepivo nudi “izvrsnu zaštitu”. “Iako snažno potičemo roditelje da organiziraju cijepljenje svoje djece, vrijedi naglasiti da MMR cjepivo nije samo za djecu. Važno je cijepiti se u bilo kojoj dobi, osobito ako imate oslabljen imunološki sustav ili dugoročno zdravstveno stanje”, naveo je.

Ospice su vrlo zarazne i mogu dovesti do ozbiljnih zdravstvenih komplikacija, osobito kod osoba s oslabljenim imunitetom i male dojenčadi. Dodatna opasnost je u trudnoći i povećava se rizik od pobačaja, mrtvorođenčeta ili prijevremenog poroda.

Glavni simptomi su groznica i osip, ali može izazvati ozbiljne komplikacije, uključujući meningitis. Za neke to može biti kobno.

Ostali simptomi uključuju; bolne, crvene, suzne oči, kašalj i bol i općenito loše osjećanje.

Najmanje 95 posto djece trebalo bi primiti dvije doze MMR cjepiva do dobi od pet godina, međutim Velika Britanija je ispod te brojke.

Najnovije brojke pokazuju da je samo 84,5 posto primilo drugu injekciju MMR-a, što je najniža razina od 2010.-2011. godine, prenosi N1.

Zdravstveni čelnici pozvali su ljude na cijepljenje zbog porasta slučajeva ospica jer, kako navode, važno je da su ljudi u potpunosti zaštićeni.

Agencija za zdravstvenu sigurnost Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva priopćila je da je između 1. siječnja i 30. rujna u Engleskoj bilo 149 laboratorijski potvrđenih slučajeva ospica, dok su u cijeloj 2022. bila samo 54 slučaja, piše BBC, a prenosi N1.

Jack Lewis, konzultant za javno zdravstvo pri Humber and North Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership, rekao je: “Ospice su više od običnog osipa. Vrlo su zarazne i vidimo da su slučajevi u porastu.”

Rekao je da ne postoji “tretman ili lijek” za ospice, ali MMR cjepivo nudi “izvrsnu zaštitu”. “Iako snažno potičemo roditelje da organiziraju cijepljenje svoje djece, vrijedi naglasiti da MMR cjepivo nije samo za djecu. Važno je cijepiti se u bilo kojoj dobi, osobito ako imate oslabljen imunološki sustav ili dugoročno zdravstveno stanje”, naveo je.

Ospice su vrlo zarazne i mogu dovesti do ozbiljnih zdravstvenih komplikacija, osobito kod osoba s oslabljenim imunitetom i male dojenčadi. Dodatna opasnost je u trudnoći i povećava se rizik od pobačaja, mrtvorođenčeta ili prijevremenog poroda.

Glavni simptomi su groznica i osip, ali može izazvati ozbiljne komplikacije, uključujući meningitis. Za neke to može biti kobno.

Ostali simptomi uključuju; bolne, crvene, suzne oči, kašalj i bol i općenito loše osjećanje.

Najmanje 95 posto djece trebalo bi primiti dvije doze MMR cjepiva do dobi od pet godina, međutim Velika Britanija je ispod te brojke.

Prijeti li epidemija još jedne zarazne bolesti? Broj oboljelih značajno porastao, a ovo su glavni simptomi

Zdravstveni čelnici pozvali su ljude na cijepljenje zbog porasta slučajeva ospica jer, kako navode, važno je da su ljudi u potpunosti zaštićeni.

Agencija za zdravstvenu sigurnost Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva priopćila je da je između 1. siječnja i 30. rujna u Engleskoj bilo 149 laboratorijski potvrđenih slučajeva ospica, dok su u cijeloj 2022. bila samo 54 slučaja, piše BBC, a prenosi N1.

Jack Lewis, konzultant za javno zdravstvo pri Humber and North Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership, rekao je: “Ospice su više od običnog osipa. Vrlo su zarazne i vidimo da su slučajevi u porastu.”

Rekao je da ne postoji “tretman ili lijek” za ospice, ali MMR cjepivo nudi “izvrsnu zaštitu”. “Iako snažno potičemo roditelje da organiziraju cijepljenje svoje djece, vrijedi naglasiti da MMR cjepivo nije samo za djecu. Važno je cijepiti se u bilo kojoj dobi, osobito ako imate oslabljen imunološki sustav ili dugoročno zdravstveno stanje”, naveo je.

Ospice su vrlo zarazne i mogu dovesti do ozbiljnih zdravstvenih komplikacija, osobito kod osoba s oslabljenim imunitetom i male dojenčadi. Dodatna opasnost je u trudnoći i povećava se rizik od pobačaja, mrtvorođenčeta ili prijevremenog poroda.

Glavni simptomi su groznica i osip, ali može izazvati ozbiljne komplikacije, uključujući meningitis. Za neke to može biti kobno.

Ostali simptomi uključuju; bolne, crvene, suzne oči, kašalj i bol i općenito loše osjećanje.

Najmanje 95 posto djece trebalo bi primiti dvije doze MMR cjepiva do dobi od pet godina, međutim Velika Britanija je ispod te brojke.
