Nastavljaju se prosvjedi protiv policijske brutalnosti i sustavnog rasizma u Sjedinjenim Državama pokrenuti zbog ubojstva Afroamerikanca Georgea Floyda, a gradovi se pripremaju za potencijalne nove nemire nakon Trumpovih prijetnji za primjenom veće sile.

Prosvjednici su promarširali ulicama Washingtona, New Yorka i Los Angelesa.

Stotine ih se okupilo kraj postavljene ograde koja im onemogućuje ulazak u park blizu Bijele kuće gdje su u ponedjeljak mirni prosvjednici rastjerani suzavcem kako bi američki predsjednik Donald Trump mogao proći do obližnje crkve i fotografirati se s Biblijom u ruci.

Čini se da savezna vlada planira snažnije odgovoriti na novi val prosvjeda u Washingtonu.

"Večeras će se osigurati još snažnija podrška zakonu i redu", rekao je u utorak glavni državni odvjetnik William Barr.

Washington Post piše, pozivajući se na neimenovani izvor iz ministarstva pravosuđa, da je upravo Barr u ponedjeljak zatražio od policije da rastjera prosvjednike ispred Bijele kuće.

Većinom mirni prosvjedi proteklih dana povremeno su obilježeni nemirima i izgredima po noći.

Četvero policajaca ranjeno je vatrenim oružjem u St. Louisu i jedan u Las Vegasu tijekom sukoba s prosvjednicima.

Uhićene su tisuće prosvjednika u gradovima diljem zemlje, ima i ozlijeđenih.

Trump je zaprijetio da će poslati vojsku u gradove i savezne države kako bi smirio nerede, istovremeno tvrdeći da podupire mirne prosvjede.

Guverneri New Yorka, Massachusettsa, Michigana i Illinoisa su među onima koji su odbacili Trumpov poziv na snažniji odgovor na prosvjede.

Policijski sat uveden je u Kaliforniji, New Yorku, Washingtonu i drugim urbanim područjima. Pripadnici Nacionalne garde raspoređeni su u nekim saveznim državama, ali većinom kao ispomoć.

Demokratski kandidat za Bijelu kuću Joe Biden optužio je u utorak Donalda Trumpa da je Sjedinjene Države pretvorio u "bojno polje".

"Neću manipulirati strahom i podjelom. Neću raspirivati mržnju", poručio je Biden američkim biračima u svom govoru u Philadephiji, gradu kojeg prate stalni prosvjedi i nasilje.

Kako se približavaju izbori, Trumpu opada podrška prema nekim nacionalnim anketama, ali analitičari upozoravaju da u ovoj fazi tim brojkama ne treba pridavati veću pažnju.

Već sedam dana u SAD-u traju nemiri zbog ubojstva crnca Georgea Floyda. Policajac bijelac, Derek Chauvin pritiskao mu je koljenom vrat gotovo devet minuta dok Floyd nije izdahnuo.

Neovisna autopsija, koju je zatražila Floydova obitelj, pokazala je da se muškarac ugušio.

"Dokazi upućuju na zaključak da je uzrok smrti mehanička asfiksija i da je posrijedi ubojstvo", rekla je liječnica Allecia Wilson sa Sveučilišta Michigan koja je sudjelovala u izvođenju autopsije.

Chauvin je uhićen i optužen za ubojstvo trećeg stupnja. Otpuštena su trojica njegovih kolega umiješana u slučaj.

Minnesota je u utorak podnijela tužbu za kršenje građanskih prava protiv policije Minneapolisa, rekao je guverner Tim Walz.

"Biti crnac ne smije biti smrtna presuda", rekao je Walz.

Nastavljaju se prosvjedi protiv policijske brutalnosti i sustavnog rasizma u Sjedinjenim Državama pokrenuti zbog ubojstva Afroamerikanca Georgea Floyda, a gradovi se pripremaju za potencijalne nove nemire nakon Trumpovih prijetnji za primjenom veće sile.

Prosvjednici su promarširali ulicama Washingtona, New Yorka i Los Angelesa.

Stotine ih se okupilo kraj postavljene ograde koja im onemogućuje ulazak u park blizu Bijele kuće gdje su u ponedjeljak mirni prosvjednici rastjerani suzavcem kako bi američki predsjednik Donald Trump mogao proći do obližnje crkve i fotografirati se s Biblijom u ruci.

Čini se da savezna vlada planira snažnije odgovoriti na novi val prosvjeda u Washingtonu.

"Večeras će se osigurati još snažnija podrška zakonu i redu", rekao je u utorak glavni državni odvjetnik William Barr.

Washington Post piše, pozivajući se na neimenovani izvor iz ministarstva pravosuđa, da je upravo Barr u ponedjeljak zatražio od policije da rastjera prosvjednike ispred Bijele kuće.

Većinom mirni prosvjedi proteklih dana povremeno su obilježeni nemirima i izgredima po noći.

Četvero policajaca ranjeno je vatrenim oružjem u St. Louisu i jedan u Las Vegasu tijekom sukoba s prosvjednicima.

Uhićene su tisuće prosvjednika u gradovima diljem zemlje, ima i ozlijeđenih.

Trump je zaprijetio da će poslati vojsku u gradove i savezne države kako bi smirio nerede, istovremeno tvrdeći da podupire mirne prosvjede.

Guverneri New Yorka, Massachusettsa, Michigana i Illinoisa su među onima koji su odbacili Trumpov poziv na snažniji odgovor na prosvjede.

Policijski sat uveden je u Kaliforniji, New Yorku, Washingtonu i drugim urbanim područjima. Pripadnici Nacionalne garde raspoređeni su u nekim saveznim državama, ali većinom kao ispomoć.

Demokratski kandidat za Bijelu kuću Joe Biden optužio je u utorak Donalda Trumpa da je Sjedinjene Države pretvorio u "bojno polje".

"Neću manipulirati strahom i podjelom. Neću raspirivati mržnju", poručio je Biden američkim biračima u svom govoru u Philadephiji, gradu kojeg prate stalni prosvjedi i nasilje.

Kako se približavaju izbori, Trumpu opada podrška prema nekim nacionalnim anketama, ali analitičari upozoravaju da u ovoj fazi tim brojkama ne treba pridavati veću pažnju.

Već sedam dana u SAD-u traju nemiri zbog ubojstva crnca Georgea Floyda. Policajac bijelac, Derek Chauvin pritiskao mu je koljenom vrat gotovo devet minuta dok Floyd nije izdahnuo.

Neovisna autopsija, koju je zatražila Floydova obitelj, pokazala je da se muškarac ugušio.

"Dokazi upućuju na zaključak da je uzrok smrti mehanička asfiksija i da je posrijedi ubojstvo", rekla je liječnica Allecia Wilson sa Sveučilišta Michigan koja je sudjelovala u izvođenju autopsije.

Chauvin je uhićen i optužen za ubojstvo trećeg stupnja. Otpuštena su trojica njegovih kolega umiješana u slučaj.

Minnesota je u utorak podnijela tužbu za kršenje građanskih prava protiv policije Minneapolisa, rekao je guverner Tim Walz.

"Biti crnac ne smije biti smrtna presuda", rekao je Walz.

Još jedna noć nemira; Bijela kuća ‘pod opsadom‘ prosvjednika, Pentagon rasporedio vojsku na ulice: Tisuće uhićenih, ranjeno petero policajaca

Nastavljaju se prosvjedi protiv policijske brutalnosti i sustavnog rasizma u Sjedinjenim Državama pokrenuti zbog ubojstva Afroamerikanca Georgea Floyda, a gradovi se pripremaju za potencijalne nove nemire nakon Trumpovih prijetnji za primjenom veće sile.

Prosvjednici su promarširali ulicama Washingtona, New Yorka i Los Angelesa.

Stotine ih se okupilo kraj postavljene ograde koja im onemogućuje ulazak u park blizu Bijele kuće gdje su u ponedjeljak mirni prosvjednici rastjerani suzavcem kako bi američki predsjednik Donald Trump mogao proći do obližnje crkve i fotografirati se s Biblijom u ruci.

Čini se da savezna vlada planira snažnije odgovoriti na novi val prosvjeda u Washingtonu.

"Večeras će se osigurati još snažnija podrška zakonu i redu", rekao je u utorak glavni državni odvjetnik William Barr.

Washington Post piše, pozivajući se na neimenovani izvor iz ministarstva pravosuđa, da je upravo Barr u ponedjeljak zatražio od policije da rastjera prosvjednike ispred Bijele kuće.

Većinom mirni prosvjedi proteklih dana povremeno su obilježeni nemirima i izgredima po noći.

Četvero policajaca ranjeno je vatrenim oružjem u St. Louisu i jedan u Las Vegasu tijekom sukoba s prosvjednicima.

Uhićene su tisuće prosvjednika u gradovima diljem zemlje, ima i ozlijeđenih.

Trump je zaprijetio da će poslati vojsku u gradove i savezne države kako bi smirio nerede, istovremeno tvrdeći da podupire mirne prosvjede.

Guverneri New Yorka, Massachusettsa, Michigana i Illinoisa su među onima koji su odbacili Trumpov poziv na snažniji odgovor na prosvjede.

Policijski sat uveden je u Kaliforniji, New Yorku, Washingtonu i drugim urbanim područjima. Pripadnici Nacionalne garde raspoređeni su u nekim saveznim državama, ali većinom kao ispomoć.

Demokratski kandidat za Bijelu kuću Joe Biden optužio je u utorak Donalda Trumpa da je Sjedinjene Države pretvorio u "bojno polje".

"Neću manipulirati strahom i podjelom. Neću raspirivati mržnju", poručio je Biden američkim biračima u svom govoru u Philadephiji, gradu kojeg prate stalni prosvjedi i nasilje.

Kako se približavaju izbori, Trumpu opada podrška prema nekim nacionalnim anketama, ali analitičari upozoravaju da u ovoj fazi tim brojkama ne treba pridavati veću pažnju.

Već sedam dana u SAD-u traju nemiri zbog ubojstva crnca Georgea Floyda. Policajac bijelac, Derek Chauvin pritiskao mu je koljenom vrat gotovo devet minuta dok Floyd nije izdahnuo.

Neovisna autopsija, koju je zatražila Floydova obitelj, pokazala je da se muškarac ugušio.

"Dokazi upućuju na zaključak da je uzrok smrti mehanička asfiksija i da je posrijedi ubojstvo", rekla je liječnica Allecia Wilson sa Sveučilišta Michigan koja je sudjelovala u izvođenju autopsije.

Chauvin je uhićen i optužen za ubojstvo trećeg stupnja. Otpuštena su trojica njegovih kolega umiješana u slučaj.

Minnesota je u utorak podnijela tužbu za kršenje građanskih prava protiv policije Minneapolisa, rekao je guverner Tim Walz.

"Biti crnac ne smije biti smrtna presuda", rekao je Walz.
