Zašto mi, Hrvati uporno omalovažamo Tucka, jednog od najboljih izbornika u povijesti našeg sporta!? U deset godina, koliko je na kormilu hrvatske vaterpolske reprezentacije, Šibenčanin Ivica Tucak osvojio je 14 olimpijskih, svjetskih i europskih medalja, od kojih je ona potonja zlatnog sjaja, zaslužena u sprezi sa silno emotivnom publikom u splitskoj Spalladium Areni, donijela gotovo jednaku radost Lijepoj našoj, kakvu smo doživjeli osvajanjem brončane medalje Vatrenih na Svjetskom nogometnom prvenstvu u Kataru. Ni u primozgu nam nije da dovedemo u pitanje Zlatka Dalića, te Vladimira Preradovića (judo) i Veljka Lauru (taekwondo), ali zar u tom društvu najuspješnijih hrvatskih stručnjaka u godini koja je na izmaku "mudraci" iz Hrvatskog olimpijskog odbora nisu mogli pronaći mjesta i za Ivicu Tucka!?

Vrhuška HOO-a zadala je, međutim, tek završni udarac Tucku, kojega osporavaju od prvog trenutka otkako je na kormilu "barakuda" zamijenio legendarnog Ratka Rudića. Neovisno od toga što je Tuckov izbor bio više nego logičan poslije osvojenog Svjetskog juniorskog prvenstva u njegovoj šibenskoj Crnici, kad je vodio Marinića-Kragića, Vlahovića, Macana, Milakovića i još neke vaterpolske nade, od kojih se kasnije osladila i A-reprezentacija. Najtužnije je da su prema Tucku kao novom izborniku otrovne strelice najprije odapete iz rodne mu Dalmacije, preciznije iz Splita. Nekolicina zaista zaslužnih splitskih veterana krenulo je grubo na šibenskog trenera udarcima ispod pojasa. Šibenčanin je, s izuzetkom jednog, čije ime nerado spominjemo, svima oprostio. Dapače, neke je od njih koristio kao prve suradnike, uz "klasično" kršćansko obrazloženje "da je oprost najbolja osveta ili čin milosrđa".

Vrhunski taktičar

S nešto manje žara suprotstavljali su se Tucku i u Dubrovniku, prijestolnici hrvatskog vaterpola, s tezom da je pogriješio kod izbora dijela mladih "jugaša".

- Možda ste vi, dragi moji Dubrovčani, dijelom i u pravu, ali ja vam predlažem da već sad potpišete petogodišnji ugovor s Markom Žuvelom, čiji su potencijal i pozitivna drskost neslućenih razmjera – odgovorio je blago i neslužbeno Tucak čelnim ljudima dubrovačkog Juga.

Varate se, ako mislite da Tucka nisu isto tretirali i u rodnom Šibeniku! Najčešća je bila teza u stilu "Nikad IvicaTucak ne bi bio izbornik, ni Luka Bukić reprezentativac, da iza njih ne stoji prijatelj i tata Perica Bukić". Teza, koja je gotovo natjerala mlađeg Bukića da zauvijek odustane od reprezentacije. Šibenske ljetne ćakule u tom stilu trajale su sve dok se kao lupus in fabula u jednom od šibenskih "kafića" nije pojavio Pero Kuterovac, vrhunski kondicijski stručnjak, koji je pomagao većini hrvatskih izabranih vrsta.

- Ratko Rudić je autoritet, kakav će se teško ponoviti u bilo kom sportu, ne samo u vaterpolu. No, Tucak je jedan od najboljih vaterpolskih trenera na svijetu u taktičkom smislu – matirao je Kuterovac zloćudne Šibenčane.

Brisanje taština

Ta taktička perfekcija šibenskog trenera, navada da u pripremi utakmice ništa ne prepušta slučaju, predstavlja temeljnu odliku Ivice Tucka. U igri Hrvatske na Europskom prvenstvu u Splitu bio je više nego jasan trenerski rukopis. Tucak se, međutim, ne srami kazati kako je zajedno sa svojim prethodnikom Ratkom Rudićem i "vječnim" Pericom Bukićem do sitnih noćnih sati razglabao o prednostima i slabostima svih suparnika na velikoj splitskoj vaterpolskoj fešti. A njegova suradnja s Rudićem, u kojoj je interes hrvatskog vaterpola posve izbrisao taštine, trebala bi biti formula u svim (ne)prilikama.

Iako je autor ovih redaka sve samo ne jugonostalgičar, kako zaboraviti da je bivši košarkaški izbornik (Mirko Novosel) na Olimpijskim igrama u Moskvi sjedio rame uz rame do svog nasljednika, više nego korektnog Beograđanina Ranka Žeravice!?

Zašto mi, Hrvati uporno omalovažamo Tucka, jednog od najboljih izbornika u povijesti našeg sporta!? U deset godina, koliko je na kormilu hrvatske vaterpolske reprezentacije, Šibenčanin Ivica Tucak osvojio je 14 olimpijskih, svjetskih i europskih medalja, od kojih je ona potonja zlatnog sjaja, zaslužena u sprezi sa silno emotivnom publikom u splitskoj Spalladium Areni, donijela gotovo jednaku radost Lijepoj našoj, kakvu smo doživjeli osvajanjem brončane medalje Vatrenih na Svjetskom nogometnom prvenstvu u Kataru. Ni u primozgu nam nije da dovedemo u pitanje Zlatka Dalića, te Vladimira Preradovića (judo) i Veljka Lauru (taekwondo), ali zar u tom društvu najuspješnijih hrvatskih stručnjaka u godini koja je na izmaku "mudraci" iz Hrvatskog olimpijskog odbora nisu mogli pronaći mjesta i za Ivicu Tucka!?

Vrhuška HOO-a zadala je, međutim, tek završni udarac Tucku, kojega osporavaju od prvog trenutka otkako je na kormilu "barakuda" zamijenio legendarnog Ratka Rudića. Neovisno od toga što je Tuckov izbor bio više nego logičan poslije osvojenog Svjetskog juniorskog prvenstva u njegovoj šibenskoj Crnici, kad je vodio Marinića-Kragića, Vlahovića, Macana, Milakovića i još neke vaterpolske nade, od kojih se kasnije osladila i A-reprezentacija. Najtužnije je da su prema Tucku kao novom izborniku otrovne strelice najprije odapete iz rodne mu Dalmacije, preciznije iz Splita. Nekolicina zaista zaslužnih splitskih veterana krenulo je grubo na šibenskog trenera udarcima ispod pojasa. Šibenčanin je, s izuzetkom jednog, čije ime nerado spominjemo, svima oprostio. Dapače, neke je od njih koristio kao prve suradnike, uz "klasično" kršćansko obrazloženje "da je oprost najbolja osveta ili čin milosrđa".

Vrhunski taktičar

S nešto manje žara suprotstavljali su se Tucku i u Dubrovniku, prijestolnici hrvatskog vaterpola, s tezom da je pogriješio kod izbora dijela mladih "jugaša".

- Možda ste vi, dragi moji Dubrovčani, dijelom i u pravu, ali ja vam predlažem da već sad potpišete petogodišnji ugovor s Markom Žuvelom, čiji su potencijal i pozitivna drskost neslućenih razmjera – odgovorio je blago i neslužbeno Tucak čelnim ljudima dubrovačkog Juga.

Varate se, ako mislite da Tucka nisu isto tretirali i u rodnom Šibeniku! Najčešća je bila teza u stilu "Nikad IvicaTucak ne bi bio izbornik, ni Luka Bukić reprezentativac, da iza njih ne stoji prijatelj i tata Perica Bukić". Teza, koja je gotovo natjerala mlađeg Bukića da zauvijek odustane od reprezentacije. Šibenske ljetne ćakule u tom stilu trajale su sve dok se kao lupus in fabula u jednom od šibenskih "kafića" nije pojavio Pero Kuterovac, vrhunski kondicijski stručnjak, koji je pomagao većini hrvatskih izabranih vrsta.

- Ratko Rudić je autoritet, kakav će se teško ponoviti u bilo kom sportu, ne samo u vaterpolu. No, Tucak je jedan od najboljih vaterpolskih trenera na svijetu u taktičkom smislu – matirao je Kuterovac zloćudne Šibenčane.

Brisanje taština

Ta taktička perfekcija šibenskog trenera, navada da u pripremi utakmice ništa ne prepušta slučaju, predstavlja temeljnu odliku Ivice Tucka. U igri Hrvatske na Europskom prvenstvu u Splitu bio je više nego jasan trenerski rukopis. Tucak se, međutim, ne srami kazati kako je zajedno sa svojim prethodnikom Ratkom Rudićem i "vječnim" Pericom Bukićem do sitnih noćnih sati razglabao o prednostima i slabostima svih suparnika na velikoj splitskoj vaterpolskoj fešti. A njegova suradnja s Rudićem, u kojoj je interes hrvatskog vaterpola posve izbrisao taštine, trebala bi biti formula u svim (ne)prilikama.

Iako je autor ovih redaka sve samo ne jugonostalgičar, kako zaboraviti da je bivši košarkaški izbornik (Mirko Novosel) na Olimpijskim igrama u Moskvi sjedio rame uz rame do svog nasljednika, više nego korektnog Beograđanina Ranka Žeravice!?
