Idemo opet s kviz-pitanjem, koja je uloga suhozida u našim zaseocima?
Ako mislite da im je svrha u ograđivanju privatnog posjeda, stvaranju međe koja dijeli susidovo od susidovog, odgovor je netočan. U "Poukama baštine", enciklopediji koja obrazlaže osnove tradicijske gradnje u priobalnom kraju, stoji odgovor.

Vidimo to i danas u našim naseljenim zaseocima, nekima od nabrojanih u uvodu teksta, ali i u brojnim drugim diljem našeg priobalja. Redovito ćemo tu pronaći istu sliku, stambene i gospodarske kuće slobodno postavljene u okolišu, s otvorenim zajedničkim prostorom namijenjenim okupljanju.
Smještenim pod zasjenjenom krošnjom stabala, najčešće koštele, oraha, lipe. Skupljali su se žitelji pod takvim prirodnim klimatizacijskim sustavom koji im je omogućavao i obavljanje gospodarskih djelatnosti na otvorenom. Život tih domaćinstava nije se, kao danas, odvijao mahom u zatvorenom prostoru.
- U ruralnim naseljima tradicijska kuća najčešće nema posebno definirane okućnice, pa prema tome niti parcele onako kako je danas poimamo. U organizaciji prostora dolazi do spontanog prožimanja privatnog prostora, okućnice i javnog prostora sela. Pred ulazom u kuću oblikuje se prostor za odmor i rad. Uz ulazna vrata, na pročelju kuća, često je dograđeno mjesto za sjedenje na otvorenom. Na vanjskom prostoru obavlja se dio gospodarskih djelatnosti vezanih za kućanstvo, ukućani se odmaraju ili organiziraju zajedničke aktivnosti za sve članove seoske zajednice.
Oko kuće su bunar i odrina, koja pruža sjenu, a često je zasađeno i veliko stablo čija krošnja daje zeleni okvir svim aktivnostima na otvorenom. Život gospodarstva organiziran je oko gumna – pojašnjava Joško Belamarić, jedan od autora i urednik "Pouka baštine".
Seoska gospodarstva, kao i stočarski stanovi, postaju sve atraktivniji za razvoj seoskog turizma. Pritom treba voditi računa da se adaptacije zatečenih gradnji izvode s mjerom, kako uvođenjem novih sadržaja ne bi dolazilo do većeg odstupanja u izgledu sklopa od izvornog.
Kao primjer uspješne obnove tradicijskog stambeno-gospodarskog sklopa, u kojem je unatoč izmjeni izvorne namjene tradicijska arhitektura sačuvana u zatečenim gabaritima i dispoziciji, navode se primoštenski Jurlinovi dvori.
- Sklop tih kuća rehabilitiran je novom, turističkom namjenom. Kuće su u funkciji seoskog turizma, imaju ugostiteljski prostor, zbirku posvećenu tradicijskom stanovanju i stambeni dio za vlasnike - stoji u pojašnjenju.

Idemo opet s kviz-pitanjem, koja je uloga suhozida u našim zaseocima?
Ako mislite da im je svrha u ograđivanju privatnog posjeda, stvaranju međe koja dijeli susidovo od susidovog, odgovor je netočan. U "Poukama baštine", enciklopediji koja obrazlaže osnove tradicijske gradnje u priobalnom kraju, stoji odgovor.
- Ako ograde, najčešće suhozidi, postoje, njihova je uloga utilitarna, oni sprječavaju osipanje plodne zemlje, služe kao podzidi na kosom terenu, čuvaju nasade od stoke. Znači nije formalna u smislu ograđivanja privatnog posjeda – jasno se navodi.
Zaseoci i dandanas pokazuju koncepciju života njegovih mještana, sliku redovitog prožimanja javnog i privatnog prostora, rijetko striktno odijeljenih. Priča se uvijek bazirala na zajedništvu, između ostalog, jasno prikazanom u kultnom serijalu "Prosjaci i sinovi".
Vidimo to i danas u našim naseljenim zaseocima, nekima od nabrojanih u uvodu teksta, ali i u brojnim drugim diljem našeg priobalja. Redovito ćemo tu pronaći istu sliku, stambene i gospodarske kuće slobodno postavljene u okolišu, s otvorenim zajedničkim prostorom namijenjenim okupljanju.
Smještenim pod zasjenjenom krošnjom stabala, najčešće koštele, oraha, lipe. Skupljali su se žitelji pod takvim prirodnim klimatizacijskim sustavom koji im je omogućavao i obavljanje gospodarskih djelatnosti na otvorenom. Život tih domaćinstava nije se, kao danas, odvijao mahom u zatvorenom prostoru.
- U ruralnim naseljima tradicijska kuća najčešće nema posebno definirane okućnice, pa prema tome niti parcele onako kako je danas poimamo. U organizaciji prostora dolazi do spontanog prožimanja privatnog prostora, okućnice i javnog prostora sela. Pred ulazom u kuću oblikuje se prostor za odmor i rad. Uz ulazna vrata, na pročelju kuća, često je dograđeno mjesto za sjedenje na otvorenom. Na vanjskom prostoru obavlja se dio gospodarskih djelatnosti vezanih za kućanstvo, ukućani se odmaraju ili organiziraju zajedničke aktivnosti za sve članove seoske zajednice.
Oko kuće su bunar i odrina, koja pruža sjenu, a često je zasađeno i veliko stablo čija krošnja daje zeleni okvir svim aktivnostima na otvorenom. Život gospodarstva organiziran je oko gumna – pojašnjava Joško Belamarić, jedan od autora i urednik "Pouka baštine".
Seoska gospodarstva, kao i stočarski stanovi, postaju sve atraktivniji za razvoj seoskog turizma. Pritom treba voditi računa da se adaptacije zatečenih gradnji izvode s mjerom, kako uvođenjem novih sadržaja ne bi dolazilo do većeg odstupanja u izgledu sklopa od izvornog.
Kao primjer uspješne obnove tradicijskog stambeno-gospodarskog sklopa, u kojem je unatoč izmjeni izvorne namjene tradicijska arhitektura sačuvana u zatečenim gabaritima i dispoziciji, navode se primoštenski Jurlinovi dvori.
- Sklop tih kuća rehabilitiran je novom, turističkom namjenom. Kuće su u funkciji seoskog turizma, imaju ugostiteljski prostor, zbirku posvećenu tradicijskom stanovanju i stambeni dio za vlasnike - stoji u pojašnjenju.
