Malo koje se primorsko ili otočno mjesto može pohvaliti s čak četiri mosta kao Vrboska i upravo su zato oni simbol tog malog pitoresknog turističkog odredišta, koje kolokvijalno sve češće nazivamo hvarskom Malom Venecijom.

No, glavni (prvi) most, što je građen još daleke 1960. godine, s vremenom je postao derutan i problematične statike, pa je Općina Jelsa svojedobno njime bila ograničila promet isključivo na kretanje pješaka i osobnih automobila, jer je struka procijenila da bi prometovanje težih teretnih vozila moglo ugroziti sigurnost ljudi, vozila, pa i čamaca koji su ispod njega plovili.

U međuvremenu je pribavljena projektna dokumentacija i građevinska dozvola za izgradnju novog mosta, za kojeg mnogi govore da je futurističkog izgleda.

Uglavnom takvog ga je zamislio i na natječaju s njime pobijedio arhitekt Danijel Marasović ("Studio crta" iz Zagreba), ali kad je došlo vrijeme da se stari most ruši Vrbovljani su se od njega poprilično teško i vrloemotivno oprostili, što je tada s poznatom 'milenijskom fotografijom' zabilježio naš renomirani fotograf Nikola Radovani.

A onda su, nakon toga, radovi krenuli u studenom 2020. i čini se da za sada teku baš onako kako je i planirano!

- Točno je, glavnina radova, koje izvodi tvrtka "Marconi inženjering" d. o. o. iz Splita, specijalizirana za obalne i podmorske radove, trebala bi biti završena do 1. travnja o. g., kako smo i najavljivali. Istini za volju i kroz travanj će se obavljati, tako da kažem, završni radovi, ali već 1. svibnja, dakle, prije nadolazeće turističke sezone naša Mala Venecija će napokon imati jedan suvremeni cestovni most, vrijedan 3,9 milijuna kuna, koji će povezivati dvije njezine obale. On će, siguran sam, zbog svog prelijepog izgleda istodobno biti i prava turistička atrakcija tog poznatog ljetovališta - rekao je Nikša Peronja, načelnik Općine Jelsa.

Financijska konstrukcija zatvara se novčanim sredstvima iz EU fondova, općinskog proračuna, MRRFEU te SDŽ. Znači trebalo je zapeti i organizirati više izvora, međutim, most nije sve što čeka stanovnike tog, nekoć uglavnom ribarskog mjesta.

Općina Jelsa je u neposrednoj blizini mosta otkupila zemljište na kojem će se slijedeće zime graditi centralni Trg Fabriovih za okupljanje mještana i njihovih gostiju, vrijedan oko 800 tisuća kuna.

Time će ta dva javna objekta zapravo činiti jednu reprezentativnu i nadasve funkcionalnu cjelinu, s kojom će se ubuduće ponositi ne samo Vrbovljani, nego i stanovnici ostalih mjesta na škoju.

Malo koje se primorsko ili otočno mjesto može pohvaliti s čak četiri mosta kao Vrboska i upravo su zato oni simbol tog malog pitoresknog turističkog odredišta, koje kolokvijalno sve češće nazivamo hvarskom Malom Venecijom.

No, glavni (prvi) most, što je građen još daleke 1960. godine, s vremenom je postao derutan i problematične statike, pa je Općina Jelsa svojedobno njime bila ograničila promet isključivo na kretanje pješaka i osobnih automobila, jer je struka procijenila da bi prometovanje težih teretnih vozila moglo ugroziti sigurnost ljudi, vozila, pa i čamaca koji su ispod njega plovili.

U međuvremenu je pribavljena projektna dokumentacija i građevinska dozvola za izgradnju novog mosta, za kojeg mnogi govore da je futurističkog izgleda.

Uglavnom takvog ga je zamislio i na natječaju s njime pobijedio arhitekt Danijel Marasović ("Studio crta" iz Zagreba), ali kad je došlo vrijeme da se stari most ruši Vrbovljani su se od njega poprilično teško i vrloemotivno oprostili, što je tada s poznatom 'milenijskom fotografijom' zabilježio naš renomirani fotograf Nikola Radovani.

- Točno je, glavnina radova, koje izvodi tvrtka "Marconi inženjering" d. o. o. iz Splita, specijalizirana za obalne i podmorske radove, trebala bi biti završena do 1. travnja o. g., kako smo i najavljivali. Istini za volju i kroz travanj će se obavljati, tako da kažem, završni radovi, ali već 1. svibnja, dakle, prije nadolazeće turističke sezone naša Mala Venecija će napokon imati jedan suvremeni cestovni most, vrijedan 3,9 milijuna kuna, koji će povezivati dvije njezine obale. On će, siguran sam, zbog svog prelijepog izgleda istodobno biti i prava turistička atrakcija tog poznatog ljetovališta - rekao je Nikša Peronja, načelnik Općine Jelsa.

Financijska konstrukcija zatvara se novčanim sredstvima iz EU fondova, općinskog proračuna, MRRFEU te SDŽ. Znači trebalo je zapeti i organizirati više izvora, međutim, most nije sve što čeka stanovnike tog, nekoć uglavnom ribarskog mjesta.

Općina Jelsa je u neposrednoj blizini mosta otkupila zemljište na kojem će se slijedeće zime graditi centralni Trg Fabriovih za okupljanje mještana i njihovih gostiju, vrijedan oko 800 tisuća kuna.

Time će ta dva javna objekta zapravo činiti jednu reprezentativnu i nadasve funkcionalnu cjelinu, s kojom će se ubuduće ponositi ne samo Vrbovljani, nego i stanovnici ostalih mjesta na škoju.

Malo koje se primorsko ili otočno mjesto može pohvaliti s čak četiri mosta kao Vrboska i upravo su zato oni simbol tog malog pitoresknog turističkog odredišta, koje kolokvijalno sve češće nazivamo hvarskom Malom Venecijom.

No, glavni (prvi) most, što je građen još daleke 1960. godine, s vremenom je postao derutan i problematične statike, pa je Općina Jelsa svojedobno njime bila ograničila promet isključivo na kretanje pješaka i osobnih automobila, jer je struka procijenila da bi prometovanje težih teretnih vozila moglo ugroziti sigurnost ljudi, vozila, pa i čamaca koji su ispod njega plovili.

U međuvremenu je pribavljena projektna dokumentacija i građevinska dozvola za izgradnju novog mosta, za kojeg mnogi govore da je futurističkog izgleda.

Uglavnom takvog ga je zamislio i na natječaju s njime pobijedio arhitekt Danijel Marasović ("Studio crta" iz Zagreba), ali kad je došlo vrijeme da se stari most ruši Vrbovljani su se od njega poprilično teško i vrloemotivno oprostili, što je tada s poznatom 'milenijskom fotografijom' zabilježio naš renomirani fotograf Nikola Radovani.
