Na Cresu su u protekla dva tjedna pronađene tri žive periske. To su trenutačno jedine žive periske otkrivene u podmorju tog kvarnerskog otoka.

Najzaslužniji za pronalazak dviju periski kraj Valuna su Jutta i Mario Hofer, austrijski bračni par koji vodi ronilački centar Diving Cres u autokampu Kovačine, javlja Zadarski.hr.

Svaku skupinu ronioca koju vode u zaron, Hoferovi upoznaju s projektom „Očuvanje plemenite periske u Jadranu“ te masovnim pomorom periski koji je u proteklih pet godina pogodio Sredozemlje. Roniocima pritom daju upute kako prepoznati perisku te provjeriti je li živa.

Zahvaljujući tome tijekom jednog su nedavnog rekreativnog ronjenja na dubini između 15 i 20 metara ronioci pronašli dvije žive periske koje su udaljene jedna od druge svega 15 metara. Zabilježili su lokaciju, snimili periske i prijavili njihov nalazak.

Potom su u pregled periski stigli ronioci Hrvatskog veterinarskog instituta Željko Mihaljević i Angela Bradarić.

„Ronila sam u morima diljem svijeta, ali ovakvu avanturu nigdje nisam doživjela! S roniocima Hrvatskog veterinarskog instituta krenula sam do lokacije periski u ribarskom brodu po tramontani. Brod lokalnog ribara nije prilagođen roniocima, pogotovo njihovu penjanju natrag na brod, no unatoč tome i neugodnom vjetru željeli smo se uvjeriti kako je riječ o živim periskama. Kad su stručnjaci potvrdili da smo pronašli dvije žive periske, znali smo da nam se sav trud isplatio“, rekla je Jutta Hofer.

Periskama su dana imena Ivan i Denise po roniocima koji su ih prvi uočili.

Jutta i Mario Hofer na Cres dolaze roniti gotovo trideset godina, a otkrića živih periski kruna su njihovih zarona. Na sjeverni Jadran stigli su iz mjesta Stockenboi iz okruga Villach-Land u austrijskoj saveznoj državi Koruška, no budućnost vežu uz kvarnersko podmorje. Svoju posvećenost traženju živih periski doživljavaju kao svojevrsnu zahvalu za sve što im more daje.

„Priča austrijskog bračnog para i creskog stanovništva najbolji je primjer kako se zajednica može uključiti u traženje živih periski. Molimo i druge rekreativne ronioce te ribare da obrate pozornost na morsko dno te da se aktivno uključe u traženje i lociranje živih periski“, kazala je Angela Bradarić koja je s Nenom Starčićem, vlasnikom ronilačkog centra Subseason iz Malog Lošinja, živu perisku nedavno pronašla u brodogradilištu Cres.

Tamo je postavljen kolektor za ličinke periski kako bi se periske mogle uzgojiti u kontroliranim uvjetima te vratiti u prirodu.

Uz Angelu Bradarić i Željka Mihaljevića u terenskoj je ekipi Hrvatskog veterinarskog instituta epidemiolog Miroslav Benić.

Na projektu „Očuvanje plemenite periske u Jadranu“ Hrvatski veterinarski institut surađuje s Javnom ustanovom More i krš i Javnom ustanovom Nacionalni park Brijuni. Projekt je sufinanciran sredstvima Fonda za zaštitu okoliša i energetsku učinkovitost, a njegovu provedbu koordinira Ministarstvo gospodarstva i održivog razvoja.

Na Cresu su u protekla dva tjedna pronađene tri žive periske. To su trenutačno jedine žive periske otkrivene u podmorju tog kvarnerskog otoka.

Najzaslužniji za pronalazak dviju periski kraj Valuna su Jutta i Mario Hofer, austrijski bračni par koji vodi ronilački centar Diving Cres u autokampu Kovačine, javlja Zadarski.hr.

Svaku skupinu ronioca koju vode u zaron, Hoferovi upoznaju s projektom „Očuvanje plemenite periske u Jadranu“ te masovnim pomorom periski koji je u proteklih pet godina pogodio Sredozemlje. Roniocima pritom daju upute kako prepoznati perisku te provjeriti je li živa.

Zahvaljujući tome tijekom jednog su nedavnog rekreativnog ronjenja na dubini između 15 i 20 metara ronioci pronašli dvije žive periske koje su udaljene jedna od druge svega 15 metara. Zabilježili su lokaciju, snimili periske i prijavili njihov nalazak.

Potom su u pregled periski stigli ronioci Hrvatskog veterinarskog instituta Željko Mihaljević i Angela Bradarić.

„Ronila sam u morima diljem svijeta, ali ovakvu avanturu nigdje nisam doživjela! S roniocima Hrvatskog veterinarskog instituta krenula sam do lokacije periski u ribarskom brodu po tramontani. Brod lokalnog ribara nije prilagođen roniocima, pogotovo njihovu penjanju natrag na brod, no unatoč tome i neugodnom vjetru željeli smo se uvjeriti kako je riječ o živim periskama. Kad su stručnjaci potvrdili da smo pronašli dvije žive periske, znali smo da nam se sav trud isplatio“, rekla je Jutta Hofer.

Periskama su dana imena Ivan i Denise po roniocima koji su ih prvi uočili.

Jutta i Mario Hofer na Cres dolaze roniti gotovo trideset godina, a otkrića živih periski kruna su njihovih zarona. Na sjeverni Jadran stigli su iz mjesta Stockenboi iz okruga Villach-Land u austrijskoj saveznoj državi Koruška, no budućnost vežu uz kvarnersko podmorje. Svoju posvećenost traženju živih periski doživljavaju kao svojevrsnu zahvalu za sve što im more daje.

„Priča austrijskog bračnog para i creskog stanovništva najbolji je primjer kako se zajednica može uključiti u traženje živih periski. Molimo i druge rekreativne ronioce te ribare da obrate pozornost na morsko dno te da se aktivno uključe u traženje i lociranje živih periski“, kazala je Angela Bradarić koja je s Nenom Starčićem, vlasnikom ronilačkog centra Subseason iz Malog Lošinja, živu perisku nedavno pronašla u brodogradilištu Cres.

Tamo je postavljen kolektor za ličinke periski kako bi se periske mogle uzgojiti u kontroliranim uvjetima te vratiti u prirodu.

Uz Angelu Bradarić i Željka Mihaljevića u terenskoj je ekipi Hrvatskog veterinarskog instituta epidemiolog Miroslav Benić.

Na projektu „Očuvanje plemenite periske u Jadranu“ Hrvatski veterinarski institut surađuje s Javnom ustanovom More i krš i Javnom ustanovom Nacionalni park Brijuni. Projekt je sufinanciran sredstvima Fonda za zaštitu okoliša i energetsku učinkovitost, a njegovu provedbu koordinira Ministarstvo gospodarstva i održivog razvoja.
