Novo je mjesto rivalstva velikih sila sjeverna kapa planeta Zemlje. Arktik postaje sve zanimljiviji za strateško pozicioniranje, ne naravno zbog leda, kojega je ionako sve manje, nego zbog plovidbenih putova i resursa ispod leda, piše HRT.

Na snijegom i ledom okovanu Zemlju Aleksandra, arktički otok u Belinguškom moru, slijeće ruski transportni avion Iljušin 76. Ledena pustoš s ekstremnim vremenskim uvjetima, gdje temperatura zimi pada i do minus 42 stupnja, dom je polarnih medvjeda, a od 2019. ondje je i najsjevernija ruska vojna baza.

- Maksimalna temperatura tijekom takozvanog 'ljeta' u kolovozu je između 7 i 10 Celzijevih stupnjeva. Snijeg se potpuno topi u kolovozu, ali sredinom rujna ponovno napada, objašnjava Sergej Murza, ruski vojnik.

Zemlja Aleksandra udaljena je 1300 kilometara sjeverno od Murmanska, u otočnom arhipelagu Zemlje Franje Josipa u Arktičkom oceanu.

Svojedobno strateški važan za Sovjetski Savez, jer je korišten kao zona proturaketne zaštite od SAD-a, otok je ponovno dobio na važnosti zbog rastućeg rivalstva na Arktiku.

Na Zemlji Aleksandara Moskva je razmjestila radare i najsuvremenije proturaketne sustave S-400, a na pistu mogu sletjeti i nuklearni strateški bombarderi.

- Sjeverna flota je zadužena za osiguravanje mira i sigurnosti na Arktiku kao glavni zadatak koji je država postavila, kaže Igor Čurkin, zapovjednik zračnih snaga ruske Sjeverne flote.

Rusija posljednjih 8 godina aktivno proširuje mrežu vojnih baza duž obale Arktičkog oceana, rekonstruira aerodrome i radarske stanice iz sovjetskog vremena. Njezina Sjeverna flota broji 80-ak vojnih brodova uključujući i podmornice.

Arktik smatra strateški važnim za sigurnost te i na tom prostoru odmjerava snage s NATO-om.

- Posljednjih godina vidjeli smo povećanu aktivnost stranih država u blizini obale, posebno u Barentsovom moru na Arktiku. Američka i NATO mornarica započele su redovite individualne i grupne ekspedicije ratnih brodova. To nismo vidjeli od poslijeratnog vremena, rekao je Aleksander Moisejev, zapovjednik ruske Sjeverne flote.

Arktik, što u prijevodu s grčkog znači blizu medvjeda, područje je oko Sjevernog pola na koje pravo polaže osam država: Rusija, Norveška, Švedska, Finska, Danska, Island, Kanada i SAD.

Druge zemlje zabrinute su zbog jačanja ruskih vojnih kapaciteta u regiji, ali Moskva tvrdi da je s pravom osigurala svoje sjeverne obale.

- Svjesni smo prigovora na rusku vojnu aktivnost na Arktiku. Svima bi već odavno trebalo biti apsolutno jasno da je ovo naš teritorij i naša zemlja. Odgovorni smo za osiguravanje sigurnosti naše arktičke obale. Sve što naša zemlja tamo radi je potpuno legalno i legitimno, izjavio je Sergej Lavrov, ruski ministar vanjskih poslova.

Ni Sjedinjene Države ne sjede skrštenih ruku, već razvijaju vojne kapacitete kako bi osigurale slobodu plovidbe na Arktiku. Usto povećavaju bilateralnu suradnju na području obrane na Arktiku s ključnim NATO-ovim saveznicima.

Prvi put nakon hladnog rata američki i britanski razarači provodili su zajedničke vježbe u Beringovom moru, a prvi su put i strateški bombarderi sletjeli u Norvešku.

- Brine nas povećana vojna aktivnost na Arktiku koja povećava opasnost ili izglede za pogrešne proračune i nesreću. Potkopava zajednički cilj mirne i održive budućnosti regije, stoga moramo biti oprezni u vezi s tim, upozorio je Antony Blinken, američki državni tajnik.

- Kad NATO pokušava opravdati svoj napredak na Arktik, to je malo drugačija situacija. Imamo pitanja za naše susjede poput Norveške, koji pokušavaju opravdati potrebu da NATO dođe na Arktik. Naravno, o tome ćemo govoriti na ministarskom sastanku Arktičkog vijeća u Reykjaviku, objašnjava Lavrov, prenosi HRT.

Novo je mjesto rivalstva velikih sila sjeverna kapa planeta Zemlje. Arktik postaje sve zanimljiviji za strateško pozicioniranje, ne naravno zbog leda, kojega je ionako sve manje, nego zbog plovidbenih putova i resursa ispod leda, piše HRT.

Na snijegom i ledom okovanu Zemlju Aleksandra, arktički otok u Belinguškom moru, slijeće ruski transportni avion Iljušin 76. Ledena pustoš s ekstremnim vremenskim uvjetima, gdje temperatura zimi pada i do minus 42 stupnja, dom je polarnih medvjeda, a od 2019. ondje je i najsjevernija ruska vojna baza.

- Maksimalna temperatura tijekom takozvanog 'ljeta' u kolovozu je između 7 i 10 Celzijevih stupnjeva. Snijeg se potpuno topi u kolovozu, ali sredinom rujna ponovno napada, objašnjava Sergej Murza, ruski vojnik.

Zemlja Aleksandra udaljena je 1300 kilometara sjeverno od Murmanska, u otočnom arhipelagu Zemlje Franje Josipa u Arktičkom oceanu.

Svojedobno strateški važan za Sovjetski Savez, jer je korišten kao zona proturaketne zaštite od SAD-a, otok je ponovno dobio na važnosti zbog rastućeg rivalstva na Arktiku.

Na Zemlji Aleksandara Moskva je razmjestila radare i najsuvremenije proturaketne sustave S-400, a na pistu mogu sletjeti i nuklearni strateški bombarderi.

- Sjeverna flota je zadužena za osiguravanje mira i sigurnosti na Arktiku kao glavni zadatak koji je država postavila, kaže Igor Čurkin, zapovjednik zračnih snaga ruske Sjeverne flote.

Rusija posljednjih 8 godina aktivno proširuje mrežu vojnih baza duž obale Arktičkog oceana, rekonstruira aerodrome i radarske stanice iz sovjetskog vremena. Njezina Sjeverna flota broji 80-ak vojnih brodova uključujući i podmornice.

Arktik smatra strateški važnim za sigurnost te i na tom prostoru odmjerava snage s NATO-om.

- Posljednjih godina vidjeli smo povećanu aktivnost stranih država u blizini obale, posebno u Barentsovom moru na Arktiku. Američka i NATO mornarica započele su redovite individualne i grupne ekspedicije ratnih brodova. To nismo vidjeli od poslijeratnog vremena, rekao je Aleksander Moisejev, zapovjednik ruske Sjeverne flote.

Arktik, što u prijevodu s grčkog znači blizu medvjeda, područje je oko Sjevernog pola na koje pravo polaže osam država: Rusija, Norveška, Švedska, Finska, Danska, Island, Kanada i SAD.

Druge zemlje zabrinute su zbog jačanja ruskih vojnih kapaciteta u regiji, ali Moskva tvrdi da je s pravom osigurala svoje sjeverne obale.

- Svjesni smo prigovora na rusku vojnu aktivnost na Arktiku. Svima bi već odavno trebalo biti apsolutno jasno da je ovo naš teritorij i naša zemlja. Odgovorni smo za osiguravanje sigurnosti naše arktičke obale. Sve što naša zemlja tamo radi je potpuno legalno i legitimno, izjavio je Sergej Lavrov, ruski ministar vanjskih poslova.

Ni Sjedinjene Države ne sjede skrštenih ruku, već razvijaju vojne kapacitete kako bi osigurale slobodu plovidbe na Arktiku. Usto povećavaju bilateralnu suradnju na području obrane na Arktiku s ključnim NATO-ovim saveznicima.

Prvi put nakon hladnog rata američki i britanski razarači provodili su zajedničke vježbe u Beringovom moru, a prvi su put i strateški bombarderi sletjeli u Norvešku.

- Brine nas povećana vojna aktivnost na Arktiku koja povećava opasnost ili izglede za pogrešne proračune i nesreću. Potkopava zajednički cilj mirne i održive budućnosti regije, stoga moramo biti oprezni u vezi s tim, upozorio je Antony Blinken, američki državni tajnik.

- Kad NATO pokušava opravdati svoj napredak na Arktik, to je malo drugačija situacija. Imamo pitanja za naše susjede poput Norveške, koji pokušavaju opravdati potrebu da NATO dođe na Arktik. Naravno, o tome ćemo govoriti na ministarskom sastanku Arktičkog vijeća u Reykjaviku, objašnjava Lavrov, prenosi HRT.

Novo je mjesto rivalstva velikih sila sjeverna kapa planeta Zemlje. Arktik postaje sve zanimljiviji za strateško pozicioniranje, ne naravno zbog leda, kojega je ionako sve manje, nego zbog plovidbenih putova i resursa ispod leda, piše HRT.

Na snijegom i ledom okovanu Zemlju Aleksandra, arktički otok u Belinguškom moru, slijeće ruski transportni avion Iljušin 76. Ledena pustoš s ekstremnim vremenskim uvjetima, gdje temperatura zimi pada i do minus 42 stupnja, dom je polarnih medvjeda, a od 2019. ondje je i najsjevernija ruska vojna baza.

- Maksimalna temperatura tijekom takozvanog 'ljeta' u kolovozu je između 7 i 10 Celzijevih stupnjeva. Snijeg se potpuno topi u kolovozu, ali sredinom rujna ponovno napada, objašnjava Sergej Murza, ruski vojnik.

Zemlja Aleksandra udaljena je 1300 kilometara sjeverno od Murmanska, u otočnom arhipelagu Zemlje Franje Josipa u Arktičkom oceanu.

Svojedobno strateški važan za Sovjetski Savez, jer je korišten kao zona proturaketne zaštite od SAD-a, otok je ponovno dobio na važnosti zbog rastućeg rivalstva na Arktiku.

Na Zemlji Aleksandara Moskva je razmjestila radare i najsuvremenije proturaketne sustave S-400, a na pistu mogu sletjeti i nuklearni strateški bombarderi.

- Sjeverna flota je zadužena za osiguravanje mira i sigurnosti na Arktiku kao glavni zadatak koji je država postavila, kaže Igor Čurkin, zapovjednik zračnih snaga ruske Sjeverne flote.

Rusija posljednjih 8 godina aktivno proširuje mrežu vojnih baza duž obale Arktičkog oceana, rekonstruira aerodrome i radarske stanice iz sovjetskog vremena. Njezina Sjeverna flota broji 80-ak vojnih brodova uključujući i podmornice.

Arktik smatra strateški važnim za sigurnost te i na tom prostoru odmjerava snage s NATO-om.

- Posljednjih godina vidjeli smo povećanu aktivnost stranih država u blizini obale, posebno u Barentsovom moru na Arktiku. Američka i NATO mornarica započele su redovite individualne i grupne ekspedicije ratnih brodova. To nismo vidjeli od poslijeratnog vremena, rekao je Aleksander Moisejev, zapovjednik ruske Sjeverne flote.

Arktik, što u prijevodu s grčkog znači blizu medvjeda, područje je oko Sjevernog pola na koje pravo polaže osam država: Rusija, Norveška, Švedska, Finska, Danska, Island, Kanada i SAD.
