Dolarski prihod Sueskog kanala pao je od početka godine za 40 posto u odnosu na isto razdoblje 2023., rekao je šef uprave Osama Rabie, budući da ga brodari zaobilaze kako bi izbjegli napade jemenskih Huta.

Od 1. do 11. siječnja brodski promet smanjio se za 30 posto u odnosu na isto prošlogodišnje razdoblje, rekao je egipatski dužnosnik u kasnonoćnom talk showu.

Od početka godine kanalom su prošla 544 broda, u odnosu na 777 u istom razdoblju 2023., naveo je Rabie.

Rutu oko Rta dobre nade izabrali su po njegovim riječima samo oni brodovi koji su morali odmah nastaviti putovanje dok ostali čekaju da se situacija stabilizira.

Zabrinutost za sigurnost brodara ne može se otkloniti popustima ni drugim poticajnim mjerama koje Sueski kanal nudi, naglasio je.

"Veliki dio robe vratit će se (Sueskom kanalu) kada tome dođe kraj", zaključio je, govoreći o napadima Huta.

Krajem prošle godine Huti su u Crvenom moru počeli napadati komercijalne brodove kako bi iskazali potporu palestinskom Hamasu u borbi protiv izraelskih oružanih snaga u okupiranom Pojasu Gaze.

U takvim uvjetima mnogi brodari preusmjerili su brodove preko Rta dobre nade, a SAD je inicirao međunarodnu misiju koja bi trebala zaštititi plovidbu. U noći na petak američke i britanske oružane snage napale su vojne ciljeve u Jemenu, a Huti su najavili odgovor.

Sueski kanal ključni je izvor deviznih prihoda za Egipat i vlasti su ga proteklih godina nastojale povećati, proširivši ga u 2015. Radovi na proširenju još nisu završeni.

Dolarski prihod Sueskog kanala pao je od početka godine za 40 posto u odnosu na isto razdoblje 2023., rekao je šef uprave Osama Rabie, budući da ga brodari zaobilaze kako bi izbjegli napade jemenskih Huta.

Od 1. do 11. siječnja brodski promet smanjio se za 30 posto u odnosu na isto prošlogodišnje razdoblje, rekao je egipatski dužnosnik u kasnonoćnom talk showu.

Od početka godine kanalom su prošla 544 broda, u odnosu na 777 u istom razdoblju 2023., naveo je Rabie.

Rutu oko Rta dobre nade izabrali su po njegovim riječima samo oni brodovi koji su morali odmah nastaviti putovanje dok ostali čekaju da se situacija stabilizira.

Zabrinutost za sigurnost brodara ne može se otkloniti popustima ni drugim poticajnim mjerama koje Sueski kanal nudi, naglasio je.

"Veliki dio robe vratit će se (Sueskom kanalu) kada tome dođe kraj", zaključio je, govoreći o napadima Huta.

Krajem prošle godine Huti su u Crvenom moru počeli napadati komercijalne brodove kako bi iskazali potporu palestinskom Hamasu u borbi protiv izraelskih oružanih snaga u okupiranom Pojasu Gaze.

U takvim uvjetima mnogi brodari preusmjerili su brodove preko Rta dobre nade, a SAD je inicirao međunarodnu misiju koja bi trebala zaštititi plovidbu. U noći na petak američke i britanske oružane snage napale su vojne ciljeve u Jemenu, a Huti su najavili odgovor.

Sueski kanal ključni je izvor deviznih prihoda za Egipat i vlasti su ga proteklih godina nastojale povećati, proširivši ga u 2015. Radovi na proširenju još nisu završeni.

Dolarski prihod Sueskog kanala pao je od početka godine za 40 posto u odnosu na isto razdoblje 2023., rekao je šef uprave Osama Rabie, budući da ga brodari zaobilaze kako bi izbjegli napade jemenskih Huta.

Od 1. do 11. siječnja brodski promet smanjio se za 30 posto u odnosu na isto prošlogodišnje razdoblje, rekao je egipatski dužnosnik u kasnonoćnom talk showu.

Od početka godine kanalom su prošla 544 broda, u odnosu na 777 u istom razdoblju 2023., naveo je Rabie.

Rutu oko Rta dobre nade izabrali su po njegovim riječima samo oni brodovi koji su morali odmah nastaviti putovanje dok ostali čekaju da se situacija stabilizira.

Zabrinutost za sigurnost brodara ne može se otkloniti popustima ni drugim poticajnim mjerama koje Sueski kanal nudi, naglasio je.

"Veliki dio robe vratit će se (Sueskom kanalu) kada tome dođe kraj", zaključio je, govoreći o napadima Huta.

Krajem prošle godine Huti su u Crvenom moru počeli napadati komercijalne brodove kako bi iskazali potporu palestinskom Hamasu u borbi protiv izraelskih oružanih snaga u okupiranom Pojasu Gaze.

U takvim uvjetima mnogi brodari preusmjerili su brodove preko Rta dobre nade, a SAD je inicirao međunarodnu misiju koja bi trebala zaštititi plovidbu. U noći na petak američke i britanske oružane snage napale su vojne ciljeve u Jemenu, a Huti su najavili odgovor.

Sueski kanal ključni je izvor deviznih prihoda za Egipat i vlasti su ga proteklih godina nastojale povećati, proširivši ga u 2015. Radovi na proširenju još nisu završeni.
