Početkom mjeseca objavljena je snimka jedne od najrijeđih morskih životinja na svijetu, koja je do sada viđena tek - jednom!

Riječ je o velikoj meduzi službenog imena chirodectes maculatus, a privi i jedini znanstveno proučeni primjerak uhvaćen je 2. svibnja 1997. godine na samom rubu Velikog koraljnog grebena oko 43 kilometra od obale sjeveroistočnog Queenslanda.

Iako nije znanstveno utvrđeno, pretpostavlja  se da ova rijetka meduza zbog svoje relativno velike veličine i ekstremno otrovne prirode ostalih sličnih vrsta - prilično otrovna.

Početkom mjeseca objavljena je snimka jedne od najrijeđih morskih životinja na svijetu, koja je do sada viđena tek - jednom!

Riječ je o velikoj meduzi službenog imena chirodectes maculatus, a privi i jedini znanstveno proučeni primjerak uhvaćen je 2. svibnja 1997. godine na samom rubu Velikog koraljnog grebena oko 43 kilometra od obale sjeveroistočnog Queenslanda.

Iako nije znanstveno utvrđeno, pretpostavlja  se da ova rijetka meduza zbog svoje relativno velike veličine i ekstremno otrovne prirode ostalih sličnih vrsta - prilično otrovna.

Početkom mjeseca objavljena je snimka jedne od najrijeđih morskih životinja na svijetu, koja je do sada viđena tek - jednom!

Riječ je o velikoj meduzi službenog imena chirodectes maculatus, a privi i jedini znanstveno proučeni primjerak uhvaćen je 2. svibnja 1997. godine na samom rubu Velikog koraljnog grebena oko 43 kilometra od obale sjeveroistočnog Queenslanda.

Iako nije znanstveno utvrđeno, pretpostavlja  se da ova rijetka meduza zbog svoje relativno velike veličine i ekstremno otrovne prirode ostalih sličnih vrsta - prilično otrovna.
