Mnogi sigurno u garažama imaju stare daske za jedrenje koje su tehnološki zastarjele i uglavnom skupljaju prašinu. No, upravo zbog starih dobrih vremena, neki vlasnici ih još uvijek koriste. Na zapadu Francuske se, pak, svake godine održava Fromentine Vintage Fun Cup, gdje se ljubitelji retro igračaka okupljaju i dijele iskustva. Neki surfaju, neki voze skateboardove, oblače se u odjeću iz osamdesetih, a zajednička im je i ljubav prema Volkswagen kombijima s kojima kampiraju na plaži.

Ovoga kolovoza se moglo nabrojiti više od 500 kombija, a broj posjetitelja i sudionika je prešao 40 tisuća. Natjecanje je uvelike podržano od lokalne zajednice Fromentine, odnosno regije Vendée, a organizatori se trude promovirati vodene sportove kroz očuvanje obale, mora i okoliša.

Mnogi sigurno u garažama imaju stare daske za jedrenje koje su tehnološki zastarjele i uglavnom skupljaju prašinu. No, upravo zbog starih dobrih vremena, neki vlasnici ih još uvijek koriste. Na zapadu Francuske se, pak, svake godine održava Fromentine Vintage Fun Cup, gdje se ljubitelji retro igračaka okupljaju i dijele iskustva. Neki surfaju, neki voze skateboardove, oblače se u odjeću iz osamdesetih, a zajednička im je i ljubav prema Volkswagen kombijima s kojima kampiraju na plaži.

Ovoga kolovoza se moglo nabrojiti više od 500 kombija, a broj posjetitelja i sudionika je prešao 40 tisuća. Natjecanje je uvelike podržano od lokalne zajednice Fromentine, odnosno regije Vendée, a organizatori se trude promovirati vodene sportove kroz očuvanje obale, mora i okoliša.
