Poznati imotski franjevac fra Vjeko Vrčić za svoga života ostavio je bogat opus pisane riječi kroz nekoliko svojih knjiga. Među njima su najpoznatije "Plemena Imotske krajine", "Župe Imotske krajine (1978.-1980.)", "Vrgorska krajina", "Odjeci – 250 godina Imotske župe", potom "Neretvanske župe".

No isto tako ostavio je nakon svoje smrti brojne rukopise, koje je na svu sreću preporučio svome nećaku Vedranu Vrčiću.

Vedran je, pak, utemeljivši udrugu "Kap" počeo s izdavanjem tih rukopisa u nekoliko novih knjiga. Tako je "Kap" izdala knjigu "Iz putne bilježnice", a prije nekoliko dana izišle su dvije nove fra Vjekine knjige, "Biskup fra Paškal Vujčić", te knjiga "Fra Ante Antić".

– U tom moru rukopisa, u toj dragocjenosti fra Vjekinih zapisa, crtica, putopisnih bilješki, izdvojio sam njegove rukopise o jednom od najpoznatijih svećenika, ne samo Imotske krajine, već i Hrvatske. Riječ je o fra Paškalu Vujčiću, Imoćaninu, čovjeku intelektualcu, svećeniku, lecteru geniusu dogmatike i filozofije, profesoru povijesti i crkvenog prava, gvardijanu samostana Francesco Alla Vigna u Veneciji, definitoru franjevačke provincije S. Antonio u Veneciji, biskupu Pulata u Albaniji, apostolskom vikaru i apostolskom delegatu Egipta i Arabije, apostolskom vizitatoru Centralne Afrike, počasnom predsjedniku Afričkog zavoda u Parizu, Vitezu i komendatoru Svetog groba u Jeruzalemu, asistentu Papina prijestolja, rimskom patriciju, posljednjem apostolskom vikaru u Bosni i konačno Hrvatu, Imoćaninu koji je blagoslovio početak izgradnje Sueskog kanala – nabrojio nam je nećak Vedran.

– Zaslugom baš našega fra Vjeke posmrtni ostaci ovoga velikog čovjeka i svećenika premješteni su na posebno mjesto u današnjem hodniku koji odvaja župnu crkvu sv. Franje u Imotskom od znamenitog Franjevačkog samostana. Knjigom se obuhvaća život fra Paškala Vujčića i njegovo plodno djelovanje širom ondašnjeg naprednog svijeta. Isto tako knjiga o fra Anti Antiću koji čeka odluku o proglašenju svetim, govori o službi toga franjevca u imotskom samostanu. Inače, zbog velikog interesa Imoćana, ali i mnogih koji prate povijesna zbivanja u Imotskoj krajini, o knjigama se može informirati preko e-maila udruge "Kap": kap.imotski1@gmail.com – riječi su Vedrana Vrčića.

Poznati imotski franjevac fra Vjeko Vrčić za svoga života ostavio je bogat opus pisane riječi kroz nekoliko svojih knjiga. Među njima su najpoznatije "Plemena Imotske krajine", "Župe Imotske krajine (1978.-1980.)", "Vrgorska krajina", "Odjeci – 250 godina Imotske župe", potom "Neretvanske župe".

No isto tako ostavio je nakon svoje smrti brojne rukopise, koje je na svu sreću preporučio svome nećaku Vedranu Vrčiću.

Vedran je, pak, utemeljivši udrugu "Kap" počeo s izdavanjem tih rukopisa u nekoliko novih knjiga. Tako je "Kap" izdala knjigu "Iz putne bilježnice", a prije nekoliko dana izišle su dvije nove fra Vjekine knjige, "Biskup fra Paškal Vujčić", te knjiga "Fra Ante Antić".

– U tom moru rukopisa, u toj dragocjenosti fra Vjekinih zapisa, crtica, putopisnih bilješki, izdvojio sam njegove rukopise o jednom od najpoznatijih svećenika, ne samo Imotske krajine, već i Hrvatske. Riječ je o fra Paškalu Vujčiću, Imoćaninu, čovjeku intelektualcu, svećeniku, lecteru geniusu dogmatike i filozofije, profesoru povijesti i crkvenog prava, gvardijanu samostana Francesco Alla Vigna u Veneciji, definitoru franjevačke provincije S. Antonio u Veneciji, biskupu Pulata u Albaniji, apostolskom vikaru i apostolskom delegatu Egipta i Arabije, apostolskom vizitatoru Centralne Afrike, počasnom predsjedniku Afričkog zavoda u Parizu, Vitezu i komendatoru Svetog groba u Jeruzalemu, asistentu Papina prijestolja, rimskom patriciju, posljednjem apostolskom vikaru u Bosni i konačno Hrvatu, Imoćaninu koji je blagoslovio početak izgradnje Sueskog kanala – nabrojio nam je nećak Vedran.

– Zaslugom baš našega fra Vjeke posmrtni ostaci ovoga velikog čovjeka i svećenika premješteni su na posebno mjesto u današnjem hodniku koji odvaja župnu crkvu sv. Franje u Imotskom od znamenitog Franjevačkog samostana. Knjigom se obuhvaća život fra Paškala Vujčića i njegovo plodno djelovanje širom ondašnjeg naprednog svijeta. Isto tako knjiga o fra Anti Antiću koji čeka odluku o proglašenju svetim, govori o službi toga franjevca u imotskom samostanu. Inače, zbog velikog interesa Imoćana, ali i mnogih koji prate povijesna zbivanja u Imotskoj krajini, o knjigama se može informirati preko e-maila udruge "Kap": kap.imotski1@gmail.com – riječi su Vedrana Vrčića.

Poznati imotski franjevac fra Vjeko Vrčić za svoga života ostavio je bogat opus pisane riječi kroz nekoliko svojih knjiga. Među njima su najpoznatije "Plemena Imotske krajine", "Župe Imotske krajine (1978.-1980.)", "Vrgorska krajina", "Odjeci – 250 godina Imotske župe", potom "Neretvanske župe".

No isto tako ostavio je nakon svoje smrti brojne rukopise, koje je na svu sreću preporučio svome nećaku Vedranu Vrčiću.

Vedran je, pak, utemeljivši udrugu "Kap" počeo s izdavanjem tih rukopisa u nekoliko novih knjiga. Tako je "Kap" izdala knjigu "Iz putne bilježnice", a prije nekoliko dana izišle su dvije nove fra Vjekine knjige, "Biskup fra Paškal Vujčić", te knjiga "Fra Ante Antić".

– U tom moru rukopisa, u toj dragocjenosti fra Vjekinih zapisa, crtica, putopisnih bilješki, izdvojio sam njegove rukopise o jednom od najpoznatijih svećenika, ne samo Imotske krajine, već i Hrvatske. Riječ je o fra Paškalu Vujčiću, Imoćaninu, čovjeku intelektualcu, svećeniku, lecteru geniusu dogmatike i filozofije, profesoru povijesti i crkvenog prava, gvardijanu samostana Francesco Alla Vigna u Veneciji, definitoru franjevačke provincije S. Antonio u Veneciji, biskupu Pulata u Albaniji, apostolskom vikaru i apostolskom delegatu Egipta i Arabije, apostolskom vizitatoru Centralne Afrike, počasnom predsjedniku Afričkog zavoda u Parizu, Vitezu i komendatoru Svetog groba u Jeruzalemu, asistentu Papina prijestolja, rimskom patriciju, posljednjem apostolskom vikaru u Bosni i konačno Hrvatu, Imoćaninu koji je blagoslovio početak izgradnje Sueskog kanala – nabrojio nam je nećak Vedran.

– Zaslugom baš našega fra Vjeke posmrtni ostaci ovoga velikog čovjeka i svećenika premješteni su na posebno mjesto u današnjem hodniku koji odvaja župnu crkvu sv. Franje u Imotskom od znamenitog Franjevačkog samostana. Knjigom se obuhvaća život fra Paškala Vujčića i njegovo plodno djelovanje širom ondašnjeg naprednog svijeta. Isto tako knjiga o fra Anti Antiću koji čeka odluku o proglašenju svetim, govori o službi toga franjevca u imotskom samostanu. Inače, zbog velikog interesa Imoćana, ali i mnogih koji prate povijesna zbivanja u Imotskoj krajini, o knjigama se može informirati preko e-maila udruge "Kap": kap.imotski1@gmail.com – riječi su Vedrana Vrčića.
