Dizajnerski studio Nuvolari Lenard još je na nautičkom sajmu u Veneciji, održanom u lipnju prošle godine, lansirao koncept morskog taksija s hibridnim pogonom kako bi se smanjilo onečišćenje okoliša toga povijesnog grada. Reakcije su sa svih strana bile jako pozitivne budući da se vrlo dobro zna kako Venecija već dulje vrijeme muku muči s brojnim kruzerima i navalom turista, što automatski znači više zagađenja.
Dobio sve certifikate
Taksi nazvan Thunder u međuvremenu je prestao biti koncept i postao stvarnost baš u doba korona-krize. Naime, prvi su modeli izgrađeni u lokalnom škveru Cantieri Vizianello, a taksi je dobio sve potrebne certifikate pa je svečano predstavljen u svibnju.
Idejni začetnici Carlo Nuvolari i Dan Lenard tom su prigodom dali izjavu u kojoj ističu kako se, kao stanovnici Venecije, osjećaju dužnima sačuvati grad od zagađenja kreacijom plovila sa zelenom tehnologijom koje će jamačno smanjiti emisiju ugljikova dioksida.
Tvrde kako su htjeli napraviti plovilo s isključivo strujnim pogonom, ali su se, svjesni problema s trajnošću baterija, na kraju ipak odlučili za isprobanu formulu hibridne kombinacije dizel-struja. Nuvolari i Lenard, međutim, dobro poznaju specifičnost plovidbe po Veneciji pa tvrde da će njihov taksi tijekom plovidbe kanalima isključivo rabiti elektromotore, dok će dizelski motor uključivati tek kada putnike bude prevozio do udaljene zrakoplovne luke.
Osim toga, dizelaš će puniti baterije da one budu spremne za rad kada se taksi vrati u grad.
Kao što smo već navikli od Talijana kad je u pitanju dizajn raznih stvari, oni su devetmetarski taksi napravili vizualno vrlo atraktivnim, s puno elegantnih i klasičnih linija.
Elegantne linije
Vodili su računa o svakom detalju, te u njemu postavili puno drvenih površina, htijući tako dati određeni obol tradiciji Venecije u izradi plovila. Luksuza na Thunderu također ne manjka, pa se Novolari i Lenard nadaju kako će, posebno nakon pandemije i uočavanja nužnosti očuvanja kvalitete mora u kanalima Venecije i okoliša općenito, njihove taksije kupiti i drugi svjetski gradovi smješteni uz obalu.
Usput rečeno, jedan bogataš je već naručio Thundera kao tender za svoju superjahtu, a Talijani pregovaraju s jednom azijskom kompanijom radi potencijalne mogućnosti ugradnje pogona na vodikove ćelije za modele u skoroj budućnosti.

Dizajnerski studio Nuvolari Lenard još je na nautičkom sajmu u Veneciji, održanom u lipnju prošle godine, lansirao koncept morskog taksija s hibridnim pogonom kako bi se smanjilo onečišćenje okoliša toga povijesnog grada. Reakcije su sa svih strana bile jako pozitivne budući da se vrlo dobro zna kako Venecija već dulje vrijeme muku muči s brojnim kruzerima i navalom turista, što automatski znači više zagađenja.
Dobio sve certifikate
Taksi nazvan Thunder u međuvremenu je prestao biti koncept i postao stvarnost baš u doba korona-krize. Naime, prvi su modeli izgrađeni u lokalnom škveru Cantieri Vizianello, a taksi je dobio sve potrebne certifikate pa je svečano predstavljen u svibnju.
Idejni začetnici Carlo Nuvolari i Dan Lenard tom su prigodom dali izjavu u kojoj ističu kako se, kao stanovnici Venecije, osjećaju dužnima sačuvati grad od zagađenja kreacijom plovila sa zelenom tehnologijom koje će jamačno smanjiti emisiju ugljikova dioksida.
Tvrde kako su htjeli napraviti plovilo s isključivo strujnim pogonom, ali su se, svjesni problema s trajnošću baterija, na kraju ipak odlučili za isprobanu formulu hibridne kombinacije dizel-struja. Nuvolari i Lenard, međutim, dobro poznaju specifičnost plovidbe po Veneciji pa tvrde da će njihov taksi tijekom plovidbe kanalima isključivo rabiti elektromotore, dok će dizelski motor uključivati tek kada putnike bude prevozio do udaljene zrakoplovne luke.
Osim toga, dizelaš će puniti baterije da one budu spremne za rad kada se taksi vrati u grad.
Kao što smo već navikli od Talijana kad je u pitanju dizajn raznih stvari, oni su devetmetarski taksi napravili vizualno vrlo atraktivnim, s puno elegantnih i klasičnih linija.
Elegantne linije
Vodili su računa o svakom detalju, te u njemu postavili puno drvenih površina, htijući tako dati određeni obol tradiciji Venecije u izradi plovila. Luksuza na Thunderu također ne manjka, pa se Novolari i Lenard nadaju kako će, posebno nakon pandemije i uočavanja nužnosti očuvanja kvalitete mora u kanalima Venecije i okoliša općenito, njihove taksije kupiti i drugi svjetski gradovi smješteni uz obalu.
Usput rečeno, jedan bogataš je već naručio Thundera kao tender za svoju superjahtu, a Talijani pregovaraju s jednom azijskom kompanijom radi potencijalne mogućnosti ugradnje pogona na vodikove ćelije za modele u skoroj budućnosti.
