Iz orebićke Lučice, već tradicionalno sredinom listopada, na put dug 2000 milja, jedrilicom Sun Fast 3300, imena Munjek RS i vlasništva Dustom Sails-a, krenula je četveročlana posada u sastavu Duško Tomić (vlasnik), Bruno Gjidera, Darko Prižmić i Luka Novaković, svih odreda iskusni morski vukovi.

Cilj ekipe je 43. Rolex Middle Sea, jedriličarska regata u Sredozemlju, domaćina Royal Malta Yacht Club-a, dužine 606 milja koja započinje i završava pod drevnim zidinama glavnog grada La Valette.

Ove godine na regati se očekuje preko 125 plovila iz skoro 30 različitih zemalja cijelog svijeta, od svjetskih prvaka i profesionalnih jedriličara do "običnih" morskih zanesenjaka; od elegantnih klasika do najmodernijih superbrzih jurilica.

Prvu etapu ekipe s Munjeka RS čini oko šesto milja i oko 4 dana dug put preko Jadrana, kroz Otrant, uz Kalabriju i Siciliju do Malte gdje u subotu 22. listopada u 11 sati starta utrka.

Sama regata je duga 606 milja, a ide od La Valette preko rta Capo Passero na jugu Sicilije do Messine na sjeveru. Dalje okreće oko vulkanskog Strombolija do otoka Favignana na zapadu Sicilije, te preko otoka Pantellerie i Lampeduse nakon 4 do 5 dana završava pod zidinama drevnog grada La Valette (službeno do 30.listopada).

Ova regata je dosta veliki izazov za skipere i posade koje se često moraju nositi sa nepredvidljivim i teškim uvjetima Scila i Haribda Sredozemlja. Po okončanju utrke ekipu, koja ove godine brani boje JK Labud Split očekuje i 600 milja dugi put kući gdje se očekuju početkom studenog.

Ekipa Munjeka je jedini predstavnik Hrvatske na regati. Poželimo hrabrim momcima sreću, dobro more, vjetra taman i malo priko i u konačnici dobar plasman.

Iz orebićke Lučice, već tradicionalno sredinom listopada, na put dug 2000 milja, jedrilicom Sun Fast 3300, imena Munjek RS i vlasništva Dustom Sails-a, krenula je četveročlana posada u sastavu Duško Tomić (vlasnik), Bruno Gjidera, Darko Prižmić i Luka Novaković, svih odreda iskusni morski vukovi.

Cilj ekipe je 43. Rolex Middle Sea, jedriličarska regata u Sredozemlju, domaćina Royal Malta Yacht Club-a, dužine 606 milja koja započinje i završava pod drevnim zidinama glavnog grada La Valette.

Ove godine na regati se očekuje preko 125 plovila iz skoro 30 različitih zemalja cijelog svijeta, od svjetskih prvaka i profesionalnih jedriličara do "običnih" morskih zanesenjaka; od elegantnih klasika do najmodernijih superbrzih jurilica.

Prvu etapu ekipe s Munjeka RS čini oko šesto milja i oko 4 dana dug put preko Jadrana, kroz Otrant, uz Kalabriju i Siciliju do Malte gdje u subotu 22. listopada u 11 sati starta utrka.

Sama regata je duga 606 milja, a ide od La Valette preko rta Capo Passero na jugu Sicilije do Messine na sjeveru. Dalje okreće oko vulkanskog Strombolija do otoka Favignana na zapadu Sicilije, te preko otoka Pantellerie i Lampeduse nakon 4 do 5 dana završava pod zidinama drevnog grada La Valette (službeno do 30.listopada).

Ova regata je dosta veliki izazov za skipere i posade koje se često moraju nositi sa nepredvidljivim i teškim uvjetima Scila i Haribda Sredozemlja. Po okončanju utrke ekipu, koja ove godine brani boje JK Labud Split očekuje i 600 milja dugi put kući gdje se očekuju početkom studenog.

Ekipa Munjeka je jedini predstavnik Hrvatske na regati. Poželimo hrabrim momcima sreću, dobro more, vjetra taman i malo priko i u konačnici dobar plasman.
