Ne treba uopće spominjati koliko je važno imati na plovilu dovoljno pitke vode na điti, osobito kada temperature lete u nebo, praćene rastućom žeđi posade. Stoga se stalno računa koliko treba napuniti tank ili ponijeti velikih pakiranja vode u PET ambalaži. No postoji i vrlo praktična opcija za dobivanje dovoljno pitke vode bez traženja vodovodne mreže ili trgovina po otocima. Zove se Spectra Survivor 06, a proizvodi je tvrtka Spectra Watermakers.

Riječ je o najmanjem ručnom desalinizatoru na svijetu, koji procesom obrnute osmoze može iz morske vode proizvesti oko 0,89 litara pitke vode na sat, odnosno oko 22 litre na dan. Polupropusna membrana unutar jedinice djeluje kao molekularni filtar. Kada se morska voda stlači na 800 psi pumpanjem ručke i pritisne na membranu, samo molekule vode mogu proći, dok molekule soli bivaju blokirane i istječu iz sustava.

Uređaj je težak samo 1,13 kg, uz dimenzije 12,7 x 20,3 x 6,4 cm, pa vam doista nikad neće smetati na brodu. Istodobno, može biti i te kako koristan kada vam zatreba dodatna pitka voda, a ne želite odlaziti iz lijepe divlje vale i gubiti vrijeme na njezino traženje. Survivor 06 odobrio je US Coast Guard, a propisan je kao dio opreme za duge samačke regate. Njegovu je membranu, pak, odobrila američka FDA (Food and Drug Administration), što sve jamči da je riječ o uređaju visoke kvalitete.

Ne treba uopće spominjati koliko je važno imati na plovilu dovoljno pitke vode na điti, osobito kada temperature lete u nebo, praćene rastućom žeđi posade. Stoga se stalno računa koliko treba napuniti tank ili ponijeti velikih pakiranja vode u PET ambalaži. No postoji i vrlo praktična opcija za dobivanje dovoljno pitke vode bez traženja vodovodne mreže ili trgovina po otocima. Zove se Spectra Survivor 06, a proizvodi je tvrtka Spectra Watermakers.

Riječ je o najmanjem ručnom desalinizatoru na svijetu, koji procesom obrnute osmoze može iz morske vode proizvesti oko 0,89 litara pitke vode na sat, odnosno oko 22 litre na dan. Polupropusna membrana unutar jedinice djeluje kao molekularni filtar. Kada se morska voda stlači na 800 psi pumpanjem ručke i pritisne na membranu, samo molekule vode mogu proći, dok molekule soli bivaju blokirane i istječu iz sustava.

Uređaj je težak samo 1,13 kg, uz dimenzije 12,7 x 20,3 x 6,4 cm, pa vam doista nikad neće smetati na brodu. Istodobno, može biti i te kako koristan kada vam zatreba dodatna pitka voda, a ne želite odlaziti iz lijepe divlje vale i gubiti vrijeme na njezino traženje. Survivor 06 odobrio je US Coast Guard, a propisan je kao dio opreme za duge samačke regate. Njegovu je membranu, pak, odobrila američka FDA (Food and Drug Administration), što sve jamči da je riječ o uređaju visoke kvalitete.

Ne treba uopće spominjati koliko je važno imati na plovilu dovoljno pitke vode na điti, osobito kada temperature lete u nebo, praćene rastućom žeđi posade. Stoga se stalno računa koliko treba napuniti tank ili ponijeti velikih pakiranja vode u PET ambalaži. No postoji i vrlo praktična opcija za dobivanje dovoljno pitke vode bez traženja vodovodne mreže ili trgovina po otocima. Zove se Spectra Survivor 06, a proizvodi je tvrtka Spectra Watermakers.

Riječ je o najmanjem ručnom desalinizatoru na svijetu, koji procesom obrnute osmoze može iz morske vode proizvesti oko 0,89 litara pitke vode na sat, odnosno oko 22 litre na dan. Polupropusna membrana unutar jedinice djeluje kao molekularni filtar. Kada se morska voda stlači na 800 psi pumpanjem ručke i pritisne na membranu, samo molekule vode mogu proći, dok molekule soli bivaju blokirane i istječu iz sustava.

Uređaj je težak samo 1,13 kg, uz dimenzije 12,7 x 20,3 x 6,4 cm, pa vam doista nikad neće smetati na brodu. Istodobno, može biti i te kako koristan kada vam zatreba dodatna pitka voda, a ne želite odlaziti iz lijepe divlje vale i gubiti vrijeme na njezino traženje. Survivor 06 odobrio je US Coast Guard, a propisan je kao dio opreme za duge samačke regate. Njegovu je membranu, pak, odobrila američka FDA (Food and Drug Administration), što sve jamči da je riječ o uređaju visoke kvalitete.
