Kopriva nam je svima poznata - kad je dotaknemo, opeče nas i još dugo poslije žari. No jeste li znali da su svi njezini dijelovi ljekoviti, a prvenstveno korijen, odnosno podanak, kao i vršni dijelovi u vrijeme cvatnje, u dužini 20-30 cm. Listovi se također mnogo rabe, ali najviše svježi, kao varivo poput špinata, piše Doktor u kući.
Kopriva je vrlo bogata različitim mineralima, osobito željezom te vitaminima A, C i K. Od nje se iscjeđuje sok, pravi čaj, juha i varivo.

Kopriva se preporučuje za liječenje niza bolesti - čisti krv, obnavlja crvena krvna zrnca, čisti tijelo od nepoželjnih i štetnih tvari; liječi teške trbušne tegobe, menstrualne i druge ženske tegobe, bolesti mokraćnih organa, slabo mokrenje, teška bubrežna oboljenja, upalu mjehura, čir na želucu, crijevima i plućima, čisti pluća od sluzi, liječi teško disanje i astmu; jača cjelokupni živčani sustav, liječi nesanicu, a rabi se i za zagrijavanje hladnih nogu.
ČAJ - tri velike žlice koprive prelijemo s 1 litrom vrele vode, poklopimo i ostavimo 5 minuta; procijedimo i tijekom dana možemo popiti i 2 litre takvoga čaja. Možemo ga blago i zasladiti, a ako ga podgrijavamo, moramo paziti da ga ne pregrijemo, jer tada gubi svoju ljekovitost.
ČAJNA MJEŠAVINA - u jednakim se dijelovima izmiješaju kopriva, broćika i zlatnica: jedna velika žlica ove mješavine stavi se u 1/2 litre vrele vode; nakon 5-10 minuta procijedi se i pije tijekom dana vrlo toplo, u laganim gutljajima. To je najbolji lijek protiv bolesti bubrega, posebno kada se bubrezi kvrče i suše.

KUPELJ - svježi se listovi prokuhaju i u toj se tekućini namaču hladne, promrzle noge. Hladne noge liječimo i tako da svježe listove stavimo u cipele, držeći ih tako preko cijeloga dana.
ULJE - iscijeđeni se sok koprive pomiješa u jednakim dijelovima s orahovim uljem; dobivamo ulje kojim svaku večer pred spavanje mažemo čelo, sljepoočice i prsa; time se uklanja nervoza, jačaju živci i pamćenje.
NJEGA KOSE - 100-200 g suhog korijena stavimo preko noći u 3 litre hladne vode i drugi dan kuhamo oko 10 minuta. Dobivamo izvanredno sredstvo za jačanje korijena kose i protiv ispadanja kose. Naravno, može se rabiti i svježi korijen.

Kopriva je vrlo bogata različitim mineralima, osobito željezom te vitaminima A, C i K. Od nje se iscjeđuje sok, pravi čaj, juha i varivo.

Kopriva se preporučuje za liječenje niza bolesti - čisti krv, obnavlja crvena krvna zrnca, čisti tijelo od nepoželjnih i štetnih tvari; liječi teške trbušne tegobe, menstrualne i druge ženske tegobe, bolesti mokraćnih organa, slabo mokrenje, teška bubrežna oboljenja, upalu mjehura, čir na želucu, crijevima i plućima, čisti pluća od sluzi, liječi teško disanje i astmu; jača cjelokupni živčani sustav, liječi nesanicu, a rabi se i za zagrijavanje hladnih nogu.
ČAJ - tri velike žlice koprive prelijemo s 1 litrom vrele vode, poklopimo i ostavimo 5 minuta; procijedimo i tijekom dana možemo popiti i 2 litre takvoga čaja. Možemo ga blago i zasladiti, a ako ga podgrijavamo, moramo paziti da ga ne pregrijemo, jer tada gubi svoju ljekovitost.
ČAJNA MJEŠAVINA - u jednakim se dijelovima izmiješaju kopriva, broćika i zlatnica: jedna velika žlica ove mješavine stavi se u 1/2 litre vrele vode; nakon 5-10 minuta procijedi se i pije tijekom dana vrlo toplo, u laganim gutljajima. To je najbolji lijek protiv bolesti bubrega, posebno kada se bubrezi kvrče i suše.

KUPELJ - svježi se listovi prokuhaju i u toj se tekućini namaču hladne, promrzle noge. Hladne noge liječimo i tako da svježe listove stavimo u cipele, držeći ih tako preko cijeloga dana.
ULJE - iscijeđeni se sok koprive pomiješa u jednakim dijelovima s orahovim uljem; dobivamo ulje kojim svaku večer pred spavanje mažemo čelo, sljepoočice i prsa; time se uklanja nervoza, jačaju živci i pamćenje.
NJEGA KOSE - 100-200 g suhog korijena stavimo preko noći u 3 litre hladne vode i drugi dan kuhamo oko 10 minuta. Dobivamo izvanredno sredstvo za jačanje korijena kose i protiv ispadanja kose. Naravno, može se rabiti i svježi korijen.
